Days passed and Dawn guided as with her prominitions. She was the prophecy and she proved it to us that she's not lying. Sometimes, she got a switched personality where she became jolly and childish. But... she's much too serious about the prophecy.
Dawn is staying with us and Eli guarded her with Garreth's men. But, she tendency disappeared and we don't where she went and came back on her own will.
Since Vladimir didn't know that mother had an astral drop, Eli used it just for our company to get going. Of course, the astral drop has guards too inorder to make Vladimir believed that it was our mother.
Eli told us that he needs to convince the dark witches not to attack us because the eternal darkness will also affect them which they didn't know. Dawn explained to us about the eternal darkness and what will be it's effect. That is now, we were preparing for it. Eli enhanced our magic. Raven's men were blessed with enhancements and magic. Eli called Raven's men as Abyss Walker.
Lady Vivian read through the magic books to find a way to stop the innocent people from turning into monsters. Together with her is Selene.
Garreth and his men, together with Dregan had some intensive training. While Hailey and Raven sparred each other to enhance their capabilities using the power of the sacred beasts.
And I.... I was stuck with Sir Gilbert as he made every of my day miserable. He kept me busy with all the stuffs that he's teaching about using the shields and barrier. I thought he finished it already before but here we are, starting a new one.

Hailey and I went separate ways. It's easier to look for the chosen one in this kind of method than going together. I was in disguised too because our series was clicked to our target population. When I got in the area, I can't tell who had that strange power because it was too crowded. There were people around walking on the sidewalk and crossing the street.
It's not the same aura as Hailey's. It's totally different and somehow dark. I wanted to know who possessed that power but I lost track of it. So, I decided to go home and reported.
"Are you sure that it isn't your brother?" Eli asked me while I reported it to everyone.
"No... I know my brother's scent. I failed to catch the scent of that strange dark power." I answered.
Eli think deeply about what I reported. Lady Vivian have no clue about it too.
"Dark power... don't tell me that you passed by to a warlock in the prophecy!" Eli said and everyone was surprised.
"How can you tell, my dear child?" Lady Vivian asked Eli.
"As what Dawn told me, a warlock with a heart of pure hatred possessed the power to unlock the eternal darkness. She assured that it wasn't me. So, that means, the warlock is lurking around the city." Eli answered.
"And that means, his preparing for the eternal darkness now?" Selene asked.
Eli nodded and I can feel everyone's fear inside the magic hall, including my pack.
"Are you telling us that anytime that warlock will unlock the eternal darkness?" Bryce, one of my pack asked Eli.
Eli looked at him seriously and with that look, Bryce got his answer. The pack was scared too because they don't want to become monsters like the others that transformed four years ago and all of them didn't survive.
The wolves became mad, panicked, and wanted to rushed things now. Eli can't stop them because it's natural to be frightened that anytime , the eternal darkness will unlock. I saw how the wolves turned into monsters and died after Eli defeated the fragment of the eternal darkness that Helena unlocked. Once we become monsters, there's no turning back but to wait our deathbeds.
Eli can't say a thing. He also feared that it might be tomorrow or the other day that the eternal darkness will come to us. Millions of people will become monsters and die. But, Eli make a stand. He stood up and say something to the people inside the magic hall.
"It's foolish of me if I tell you to calm down because I also fear the coming of the eternal darkness. As I am the one who will stop it, I fear that I might end up dying after saving everyone. I don't know what this eternal darkness is. But one thing I can say, I will do everything in my power to stop it. As the strongest warlock, it's my duty to protect all of you, not just you but also the humanity. If you show unto me that you're afraid, then how can I be strong enough to defeat it when my comrades didn't believe that we'll survive. I don't ask you to fight with me, I only ask for you bravery and... your faith on me that I can defeat the eternal darkness!"
The hall became silent after Eli said those things to us. He was right. If we let our fear ruled then we just let Eli down and die because we didn't believe in him that he can defeat it. All we need to do is to help each other, fight together, and live together.
If only Eli can convince the dark witches what was ahead of us then we can make this world a better place in the future where we can continue living.
Out of the blue, I saw Eli's tummy glows... a light and a dark. I smiled that our babies also supported Eli. But wait, the other child holds the power darkness?
I didn't know that one of the twins had the dark magic.
I immediately confront Eli about what I saw and he didn't deny it. He knew for a long time that one of our babies had the dark magic. We had a serious conversation at our room and I cast a barrier around so no one can hear us.
"Why you didn't tell me?" I asked him.

Eli nodded and said. "Don't judge me or our baby for having dark magic. It's..."

"I didn't judge you or our baby. I'm scared if someone know about this. You know that my pack followed you because of your divine powers. What I'm scared about is they'll judge you for having dark magic. Once you have dark magic, it automatically means that your corrupt." I explained.
He looked at me with such sad eyes. I can tell why he kept it a secret because we had the same opinion and views about the outcome.
"That's the reason why I keep it." He said and then he smiled at me. "Our baby taught me, Ares. The dark magic that I had isn't corrupt. It depends on the heart of the user on how I will use it."
I kissed his forehead and said. "I know you are not. I have a strong faith in you. I'm not against it but we need to be careful. People are too judgmental nowadays. They don't rationalize and failed to think first before giving such harsh comments."
I hugged Eli and out of nowhere, I heard a tiny voice in my head. It was talking to me.
"Thank you for believing, Dad. I am not bad and my dark magic was blessed by the Phoenix."
Geez! My child talked to me through telepathy. I know that he's not bad and I am rest assured because his power was given by the Phoenix. I didn't know that my baby boy had the dark magic and the baby girl had the light magic.
I'm still happy and at the same time, I'm too worried for them.
"I already mastered the dark magic, Daddy." Eli said and I can't believed that he mastered it in a short period of time. "Don't worry, my dark magic isn't the same as the dark witches."
I nodded and told Eli that I believed in him. He won't learn such magic just to use it in a bad way. I knew Eli, he's a good person and always thought for others than himself. I know that Eli won't risk his life just for a thing.
After the conversation, Eli and I went downstairs and saw my mother sitting on the couch, reading all the paperworks. Eli sat down beside her and gave her a hug.
"Can you please rest for a while? Health is more important that work." He said to my mother.
My mother smiled and hugged him tightly.
"I'm thankful that I have a child like you who thought about my health... not like other there, who watch and look." Mother said and looked at me.
I sat down on the other side and gave her a hug too. Mother chuckled as she teased me. I'm feeling good right now as I have beside me the people who are important to me. Eli, mother, and my sister, they were too important for me and now more people became important too. Lady Vivian, Sir Gilbert, Garreth, my pack and the people who supported us.
"Hey, how about me?" Lady Vivian asked as she came in.
Eli chuckled and he stood up to gave his mother a hug. Mother and I stood up and joined them. It was too cheesy but my heart feels that I'm filled with love. Lady Vivian and my mother has a deep connection with each other. My mother was the right hand of Eli's mother before and until now, they're still together.
"I was too lucky that I still have you, Lady Vivian. For all the mistakes that I did, you still forgive me." My mother said.
Lady Vivian smiled and said. "I understand Beatrice. Every mother will do their best for their family and I don't have any resentment towards you. And besides, I'm happy that your son became the protector of my daughter..."
"Mother!" Eli reacted when his mother called him daughter.
We laughed and she messed Eli's hair.
"Together, we'll fight the eternal darkness. I don't want any of us will die." Lady Vivian said.
My mother nodded and they chuckled like teenages girls. Geez! They're making such a creepy environment. It's like my mother has a mid 30's face while Lady Vivian has a face of a mid 20's.
We left them as they were having fun reminiscing their childhood. Eli and I went to the kitchen because my baby got hungry. We we're excited too for the airing of the new episode of the series that we're into.

We went down to a basement but there's still a hidden door. Eli opened it and entered. The hallway was too dark and candles lit when he passed by. We walked for a few meters until another door opened by Eli.
It was a room full of prison cells. I saw Amara and Brandon imprisoned. They were untidy and I almost can't recognized them. They were lying on a bed and weak.
"What happened to them?" I asked them.
"The darkness consumed their tainted heart. They got crazy and I'm trying to save them, Ares." Eli answered.
Save them? But it doesn't look like that they can be saved. From all they did to us, their souls can't be saved even the strongest warlock can't save them.
"They are exposed by the fragment of the eternal darkness that Helena activated. When their willpower was broken, the darkness consumed them. And with Sirius powers, it stopped them from turning into monsters." Lady Vivian added.
If father is in here then don't tell me, he's crazy right now.
We walked a few steps until Eli stopped and showed to me my father who was inside the cell. I can't figure out my feelings. Seeing my father became thin, staring blankly, and close to lifeless on a bed, it makes me mad and at the same time, pity him.
"I asked Quinn not to tell you about your father because I don't want you yo have a feeling of guilt." Mother said.
Yes, I felt guilty about what happened to him. I let Eli ripped his power forever and watched. If I stopped Eli from taking away my father's powers then he might not be in this condition. But, it's a good thing that Eli did it because he won't stop until he gets Eli's powers.

I looked at my father once again and talked to him but he didn't respond. He's like a human with no soul. Lady Vivian and my mother left us to have a conversation with my father. I let Eli stay beside me as I tried to connect with my father.
I talked anything and kept trying to connect but he's empty.
"Ares, I might stop the transition if I used my dark magic but I'm having second thoughts. Mother might feel it that I'm using a dark magic." Eli whispered.
"Don't risk your life, baby. It's okay to suppress the transition. We'll find some other way." I said.
He nodded and helped me to connect with my father. Eli told me that the darkness inside my father is too strong. His heart is very tainted and started to get weak. Eli called Elio to help him.
"Can you still supress the darkness, Elio?" I asked the fairy of the Sun.
"Yes, Master... but we can't do this forever." He answered.
"I know. Just help me out this time." Eli said and Elio nodded.
Elio cast a magic on my father. It's a light spell that suppress the dark magic in father's body. While Elio was helping out, Dawn suddenly appeared near my father.
"The minions of darkness." She said and also looked at Brandon and Amara. "The warlock will change them soon. Not even your power can stop their transition."
"No! That won't happen!" I shouted.
"Yes, it is... Shield of Sirius. Your father will become a minion of darkness together with those two. They'll become monsters with no capacity to think but only to kill." Dawn said.
She vanished and suddenly appeared beside Eli. She touched Eli's shoulder and for a few seconds, Eli's eyes became blank. Dawn let him see the prophecy and I saw Eli cried. When Dawn withdrew his hand from Eli's shoulder, my baby looked at me with those sad eyes.
"This world will be covered by the eternal darkness. Every people will become monsters, Ares." Eli said and he hugged me tightly, crying on my chest. "How can I save them? How?!"
He screamed and I can feel in his voice the desperation and frustrations.
"Not even the strongest warlock can save this world. That is the prophecy." Dawn said.
I hate the prophecy! It wanted us to follow what the future holds. We're also part of this world and we live according to our will not by the prophecy. That prophecy tells us that we don't have a choice but to accept it.
Eli got emotional and I guess it's part of his pregnancy. Having twins is a lot of burden too and his role as the strongest warlock was also added to his burden.
"Don't cry baby... that prophecy won't let us dictate for our future. We make our own future base in our decisions so don't just cry and do nothing." I said to my baby and he stopped crying.
He looked at me and said. "Can I change the future?"
"Did you doubt yourself?" I asked him.
He shook his head and said. "No! But I'm also human that can be weak too with my own emotions."
"And so am I." I agreed on what he said because not everybody are strong. "That is why we have each other to support and help each other. Not to bring down."
He wiped his tears and tried to keep his composure. It's okay to cry but not to cry forever doing nithing. Eli looked at my father and I can see in his eyes that he's willing to save him. I know it's not his thing to kill or let somebody die in fron of him.
Dawn looked at us, staring, and she vanished. I don't know where she went. She usually vanished after she relayed her message as the prophecy.
Four weeks had passed and I kept Eli's secret. With my shields and barrier, I managed to protect him while he's using dark magic on my father. He wanted to try something by defeating the darkness by his dark magic and it started to have a progress. With his dark magic, it slowly defeated the darkness in father's heart and made it beat again, strongly.
I was happy with our progression but it's difficult too to hide what we were doing. Eli's dark magic isn't the same as the dark witches. It also has a life and pure too. A dark magic that came from Eli's goodness.
Everyone was preparing for the eternal darkness. Garreth and Dregan made their men durable in battle. My friends, Czar, Dixon, and Largo, trained with our pack. With the help of Eli's enhancements, they managed to get stronger than before.
But, there is one thing I am worried about... Eli's pregnancy. It's five months already and his tummy started to get bigger. I am worried that the eternal darkness might be activated during this month or while Eili is pregnant. I don't know what will happen but I can't stop thinking about Eli and my twins.
Eli wasn't allowed to join the training because of his pregnancy. Having twins is quite risky for him. And I always pray that the eternal darkness might not happen during Eli's pregnancy. I hope that let it pass first than had a fight while he's pregnant.
I kept him safe in Garreth's mansion, security was tightened, and barriers were enhanced. We can't let Vladimir tracked us down.
While I gave company to my baby, who was watching a movie, Hailey came in and went straight to us. She took the remote and switched the channel.
"You need to see this." She said.
It's a breaking news about people suddenly got ill and some died without any reason. It caught Eli's attention seeing those people died.
"It slowly to consume the world with darkness." Dawn said as she appeared behind us.
"Are you telling us that soon this world will be in havoc?" Eli asked her.
Czar suddenly appeared as well as Raven. They looked tensed and Eli asked them about what they knew.
"The animals started to get weak and some died." Czar said.
"I sensed dark magic in the souther part of the city." Raven reported.
Eli stood up and said. "I need to go!"
I grabbed and pulled his arm, stopping him from going outside this mansion.
"You stay! I'll handle this first." I said and took Raven and Czar with me.
I let Hailey stayed beside with Eli while I was out. We headed to the south part of the city and yes, dark magic started to do it's thing. It tainted many people's heart and some of them were rushed to the hospital.
I tried to locate the source of the dark magic until I sensed a dark orb at the back of a hotel building. We went there and saw a huge dark orb. Dark magic were leaking from that orb and I don't know how to destroy it.
When I was about to call Hailey, I was surprised that she suddenly appeared together with Eli.
"What are you doing here?" I asked them angrily.
"There's no time to argue, Ares. I need to destroy this." Eli answered and started to cast his Spellbreaker.
The magic was destroyed and the dark magic stopped. The next thing that Eli did was to cleanse the southern part of the city. Those hearts that were tainted were cleanse by Eli's magic but those died, weren't save.
After Eli used his magic, I heard Vladimir's evil laugh.
"Finally, you get out from your slumber, Quinn!" Vladimir said as he appeared a few meters away from us.
He was surprised to see Eli who was pregnant and his eyes filled with hatred.
"How come you bear a child?" He asked Eli.
Eli didn't answer him and Vladimir became furious. He looked at me with those evil eyes and cast magic on me. Gladly I was prepared and blocked his magic. Raven transformed into his sacred beast mode.
"How dare you Ares! You make my beloved pregnant with those filthy sperm of yours!" Vladimir shouted and he was in outrage.
His dark magic became stronger than before and he's trying to throw us by his magic. Hailey transformed into her sacred beast mode and flew together with Eli.
Vladimir won't let Eli escape so he followed them. I was about to follow them but Vladimir's men gave us company. Raven handled the with one sweep and I followed Hailey.
They were flying fast while Vladimir was chasing them. I jumped from building to building. Vladimir kept on attacking them but Hailey is quite fast to dodge and attack as well.
While I was chasing them, I suddenly felt that strange dark aura nearby. It stunned me as it's aura was too powerful. I wanted to know who made that dark aura but I can't let Vladimir have my Eli so I went after them.
Unfortunately, someone hit Hailey's wings and they almost crushed on the ground. I went down and attacked Vladimir who was trying to get near them. I went to Hailey and Eli as soon as I stunned Vladimir a few seconds.
"I hate you, Ares! All I wish for you is to die!" Vladimir shouted.
He cast a dark spell on us. A dark magic circle appeared on the ground but Eli break it.
"I have no time for this, Vladimir!" Eli exclaimed.
Out of nowhere, I was surprised to smell a familiar scent... the scent that I will never forget!
