Now in the forest of forever fall grownup, Ruby was leading.
(Author: fuck it just to avoid even more confusion I'm renaming grownup Ruby to lily. It'll be easier this way. Damn I just noticed I could've done this with Jade...)
Everyone looked around the forest seeing as it was so beautiful.
Lily: yeah the forest is beautiful. But we came here with a purpose.
She stops walking and twirls towards the group of students. Her lab coat making a nice effect as she turned. She slips her hands in her pockets.
Lily: Alright you little munchkins!
Weiss: did she just call us munchkins?
Jade: yeah...don't worry about that...
Lily: we are here on a mission! And I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing it. We are in this beautiful place to steal from the trees.
She motions towards the trees.
Lily: professor peach has asked you all to collect one jar of tree sap! You got your jars get to work little ones.
Jade: I'm taller than you!
A glove quickly covers her hand and she points it at Jade. A micro missile launcher pops out the sides and Jade puts his hands up also raising Weiss's hand.
Jade: sorry...sorry.
Lily smiles.
Lily: don't diss me. Because I'll shoot you with eleven different things at the same time. I can promise lasers are in there.
Jade: okay chill.
Lily: Okay. Everyone get to collecting!
Her bleeding edge suit covers her and she simply flies away. Everyone starts to walk away, some in groups. Well, most in groups.
Jade: Hey, I'll be back. Can you get my jar of sap for me?
He was worried as he saw jaune get snatched up by Cardin.
Weiss: really?
She lets go of his hand and leans slightly while crossing her arms.
Weiss: Why?
Jade: just...please? I'll pay you back with something nice?
He puts his hands together. He slowly watched jaune get dragged away. To not lose them He manually switched to tracker and shot one onto the back of Jaune's armor.
Weiss: hmm, fine. I'll do it. But you have to do whatever I want for an entire day.
Jade: that just sounds like a fun time.
He stands up and gives Weiss a kiss. He turned around and his web shooter opened a map.
Jade: okay...this way.
He jumps into the trees and runs across the branches to get to Jaune's location. He deactivated the map as he spots a passed out jaune. He was just a bit too far away to hear their conversation, he could put on his suit and activate reconnaissance mode but that would completely give him away.
After a few minutes, they end up dragging Jaune away, again.
They arrive at a cliff face and Jade remembers he can be invisible. He smacks himself and turns invisible after this he puts his suit on an activated reconnaissance mode. From the tree line, he can hear them speak. He zooms in to have a better view.
They all stand up.
Cardin: and your gonna do it.
He shoves a jar of sap into Jaune's hands.
Jade: don't do it.
He clenched his fist as a hesitant Jaune takes aim. He shakes as Pyrrha turns around smiling.
Jaune: no...
Cardin: what was that?
He said in a threatening tone as jaune brings his arms down.
Jaune: I said.....NO!
He turns and throws the sap jar at Cardin breaking on his chest plate. Cardin laughs.
Cardin: ohh, you've done it now.
They grab jaune by the shoulders and start dragging him away. Jade takes off his suit and becomes visible he starts hopping branches following the group of guys. He crouched on the branch and sees Jaune get a good punch to his face.
Jade: that must have hurt.
He can't really hear the conversation but he can see jaune get picked up. They talk for a few seconds and Cardin shook Jaune. Cardin looks angry and swings a Jaune once again, but this time everything was enveloped in white light and Cardin drops Jaune.
Jaune activating his aura burned Cardin's hand and jaune was all healed. He looks at his hands but this was short-lived as sky kicked him in the back. The team gathers around until an Ursa runs out the tree line.
Jade: yeah...this is a learning experience for Jaune.
He says this which was true but he wasn't completely healed and doesn't want to hurt himself further. but tree hopping probably didn't help.
Cardin's team runs away as lily lands on the tree branch next to Jade. Her helmet receded into her suit.
Lily: so, were you planning on helping?
Jade: Jaune needs to be able to do this for himself. If he has trouble I'll save him.
Lily: nice. They both look back to the fight as Cardin gets smacked around like a rag doll.
Jade: should we save-
He began to try and look at Ruby but she covers his mouth and slowly shakes her head "no". Jade turns his head back with narrowed eyes as Jaune jumps into battle stopping the Grimm's attack.
Jaune just punched in the chest by the Ursa but quickly recovered and ran at the Grimm. He gets smacked away once more and gets up breathing heavy.
Ruby, Weiss, and Pyrrha show up and they stand directly under the hidden duo. Weiss must have a Jade radar because she immediately looks up and seen him.
Weiss: Jade!
He flinched at the sound of his name and he jumped down to the girls.
Jade: heya Weiss.
He smiles as she smirks.
Weiss: our deals still holds up.
They all look back to Jaune getting smacked around like a toy. He breathed heavy and begins to charge at the beast. He looked like he was finished until his stance completely changed and he blocked the Ursa's attack. He pushed the Grimm back gaining the opportunity to completely de-head the Grimm killing it.
Jade looks to his right to see Pyrrha's outstretched hand. She puts her hand down, Jade already knew what happened.
Ruby: uhhh, what?
Pyrrha: well, Jade has his strength, Weiss has her glyphs, and you have your speed. My semblance is polarity.
Ruby: oooh, she can control poles...
Jade bends down to whisper in her ear.
Jade: she can control metal stuff, Ruby.
Ruby: ohhh, that's even better!
Lily falls from the tree and lands behind the group. She stealthily got away with only Jade noticing her. Pyrrha begins to walk away.
Weiss: where are you going?
Ruby: yeah? We gotta tell them what happened?
Pyrrha: we could do that...or we could keep this our little secret?
She begins walking away and Jade was about to follow until the back of his shirt was grabbed.
Weiss: carry me.
Jade: okay.
He picks her up bridal style and begins walking away.
Weiss: this is gonna be fun.
Jade: I hope it's nice Weiss today...
Weiss: also, this gets an extension because Nora kept eating your sap I collected.
Jade: how is that my fault?
Weiss: it isn't. I just want to order you around for a few days.
She smiles and gives him a small kiss on the cheek. It instantly put his spirits back up.
Jade: this will be better than I hoped.
