The first night went well, lance and hunk changed by their beds like it was normal and I snuck into the room bathroom to change into my PJs saying it be best since their wasn't enough room for all three of us to change at the same time and it wasn't really a lie. We talked and laughed for a bit before we all decide to go to bed ready for her real first day in training. Hunk was a snorer and a loud one while lance just sleep talk about his dream, he said something like oh baby and I hoped he wouldn't say any more. I fell asleep all huddle up and before I knew it all three alarms went of making us all jump out of bed and turning them of.
We all got dressed and ready before heading down to the mess hall for breakfast. We all dressed differently even tho we all had the same uniform on. Everyone had different hair styles or socks, some had buttons all the way undone showing their vest and some only had a couple undone. I had my crazy short hair with green lion socks on and only the top button of my shirt undone since its bugs me if its done up. I had a short sleeve shirty instead of a long sleeve like a couple of the others in our group. We got a tray and a bowl of what looked like poop before sitting at a table. All around us was different soldiers and even some other training soldiers. This was the second mess hall out of four on the base so I didnt expect to see everyone in base as we ate. Lance had a smooth hairstyle with bright light blue socks and the top three buttons undone with a short sleeve shirt. Hunk had elbow sleeve shirt but all his buttons was done up and dark yellow socks with a yellow head band around his head. (Elbow sleeves are the tops or shirts where the sleeve ends at your elbow so its not a full sleeve. That what we call them from where I'm from so sorry if you dont get it).
We ate sitting together and I noticed another soldier sitting two seats down from me, he was right on the edge just eating in silence. He was taller then me well everyone taller then me sadly. Tho I think he would be shorter then lance and hunk, well everyone was shorter next to hunk. He had midnight black hair that shines a little, his eyes was a light purple with a hit of danger but they shined taking my breath away a little. He had short sleeves shirt but with two of his buttons undone and had bright red socks making me giggle a little and making him turn to me. I sat just staring at him before lance tapped my shoulder making me jump and turn away, I'm such an idiot. I'm sure he thinks I'm a freak or its worrying over why a stranger suddenly started before laughing at him.
"you ready to go, we got ten minutes till roll call" hunk said with a smile and we all stood up to carry our trays. "yeah sorry I was just daydreaming, not use to this place look yet" I smile hoping the guy would hear and not worry over me staring at him. "oh really, so you weren't just checking out the girls in uniform" Lance smirked and I just frowned. "I'm not you lance" I sigh and hunk laughs as we walk away.
AT THE TRAINING ROOM.
As pidge, lance and hunk stood at the far end of the room they notice their fellow trainees were all chatting and staring at someone by the door. "isn't that shiro, he famous for his missions success" hunk said with a grin and a little excited and pidge remember seeing him on the news a couple of times and when she went to surprise matt at work she met him a couple years ago. "shiro the hero" Pidge said with a smirk and her two friends turned to her shocked. "did you just make a pun with shiro and Hercules" lance said amused and pidge just smirked. "bless my show, shiro was on a roll" Pidge sang with a smile just chancing Hercules name into shiro and making her friends smile but she also heard a small snicker from someone behind and went to look but was stopped when the captain walk in and yelled at them to line up.
"lets get down to business you weaklings, I'm here to make a solider out of you who can protect the people" the captain yelled as he walked up and down the line looking at everyone. They made three rows and made a small square. "by the looks of you did they send me babies instead of soldiers" the captain yelled and pidge grinned, she was glad she was standing behind hunk and couldn't be seen well until lance glace at her from her side and saw her grin. "dont do it" Lance warned as he kinda guess what she wanted to do. "I'm here" the captain started to say but what stopped by. "to make a man out of you" Pidge sang and quickly stood up straight when the captain walked down to see who it was but lucky for pidge and lance they held in their laughs. "not cool man, funny but not cool" Lance said holding back his laugh. "I couldn't help it, its like he trying to copy the film Mulan" Pidge said with a grin. "run five laps to warm up, now" the captain yelled at the group and they all started to run a little.
"dont do it" hunk said with worry as the three ran next to each other. "I'm never gonna catch my breath" lance sang as they ran with a huge grin after pidged turned to him with a smirk. "say goodbye to those who knew me" Pidge sang next with a smile and turned to hunk who sighed in defeat. "boy I was a fall in school for cutting gym" hunk sang with a smile making lance and pidge giggle. "this guy got 'em scared to death" a voice sang behind them making pidge smile and want to turn round to see who it was but didnt hunk and lance stared at her to sing the next park. "hope he doesn't see right through me" pidge sang and grinned since she really hoped no one would find out she was girl and not a boy. "now I really wish I knew how to swim" Hunk sang next with a grin and pidge along with lance got ready to sing the next part. "be a man" Pidge and lance sang proudly as hunk laughed. "we must be swift as the coursing river" the voice behind them sang with a little joy. "be a man" lance and hunk sang together. "with the force of a great typhoon" pidge sang with a smirk. "be a man" all four sang together with a little laugh. "with all the strength of a raging fire" the voice behind them started to sing but was cut of by Pidge. "mysterious as the dark side of the moon" Pidge sang with a smile and they all finished their lap and song just as the captain started yelling orders. As hunk and lance laughed over singing the song while running Pidge tried to see who sang along with them but no one smiled or show signs of it being them making her frown.
"we want to see your skills in a ship, it only takes three people at a time so made groups of three" the captain yelled and a certain three just smiled. "I hope we dont go first, I'm so nervous" hunk said with worry and held his hands together. "dont worry I'm gonna be the best piolet one day" lance said proudly. "just dont crash us, I dont want my last moments being filled as me killing you" pidge sighed and heard a snicker again but this time she looked around trying to catch them. "oh man what if we mess up so bad that the rest of the class laugh at us forever" hunk said with fear and making the good mood go gloomy.
"Hakuna Matata" pidge said with a grin as she opened her arms out making her two friends turn to her with a grin. "Hakuna Matata, really" lance smirked with a hand on his hip. "Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phase" pidge smirked as she started to sing again. "Hakuna Matata, aint no passing craze" another voice sang and pidge jumped around hoping to catch the voice but instead jump around to see their captain glaring at her. "oh and what is this Hakuna Matata" the captain asked annoyed and pidge gulped. "dont do it pidge, just say sorry" hunk said with worry. "no I think you should tell him" lance smirked and hunk glared at his friend. "it means no worries for the rest of your days, its our problem free philosophy, Hakuna Matata" pidge sang with a smile and took a step back ready to run.
"what a nice phase, it could help calm soldiers down in battle" shiro said shocking pidge a little as he stood behind her and she felt like she needed eyes everywhere now. "it is" pidge said shocked. "yeah, its a good thing you remember such an old thing to help calm everyone, soldiers need to think fast" shiro smiled trying to help her get out of trouble. "yeah, well a worried soldier could mess up so Its a nice way to calm them down" Pidge lied with a smile. "then since your all clam down why not go first, little puppy" the captain grinned and pidge frowned and the nickname. "sure, we need to bond more and trying new things that also help us train is a great way" lance said with a smile trying to help pidge and hunk carried her over her shoulders making her want to die. "take the chance to escape any punishment" hunk said with a worried smile and placed pidge inside the ship simulator.
"thanks for the save" pidge grinned as she sat in shot gun since hunk quickly sat in the back seat and lance ran for the pilot seat. "no worries its what friends are for, now lets have some fun" lance smirked and the simulator started up. "oh god we going to die" hunk said with fear and Pidge turned round to him. "cheery dude" pidge said with a small smile. "sorry I'm just scared for my life since lance still crash toy cars" hunk said with a worried smile. "that was when I was a kid, let it go" lance smiled and started flying but turned to pidge who suddenly placed her seat beat on that wasn't needed. "you know you dont need to put it on right" lance said with worry. "this was the first thing hunk did and after hearing his story this will stop me from killing you in" pidge smiled. "oh come on I'm not that bad" lance yelled. "yes you are" hunk yelled back making pidge giggle a little and the class watched the screen guessing they didnt know it was gonna be record. "well they an interesting three" shiro laughed as he watched. "I think they gonna make me more bald them I already am" the captain sighed.
"hey lance stop moving so much, I'm gonna puke" hank said as he covered his mouth. "no, no puking in the ship hunk, this is not the school bus" lance yelled with worry. "I'm gonna be a might kind, so be aware my enemies" Pidge sang in a soft voice as she check all the screens. "well I never seen a king of beast with quite little hair" the voice sang outside the simulator making shiro laugh that the song was catching on. "I'm gonna be the mane event, Like no king was before, I'm brushing up on looking down, I'm working on my roar" pidge sang and roared at the end making both hunk and lance laugh at her forgetting they were yelling. "Thus far a rather uninspiring thing" lance sang next with a smile. "Oh, I just can't wait to be king" pidge sand proudly as she check another screen. "No one saying do this" hunk sang next. "No one saying be there" lance sang next with a grin. "No one saying stop that" pidge sang with a grin. "No one saying see here " pidge, lance and hunk sang together making the class laugh a little. "Free to run around all day" lance sang with a smirk making the other two roll their eyes. "Free to do it all my way" pidge sang with a huge smirk and her hands in the air making the boys laugh at her.
"oh shut it" pidge pouted making them laugh more. "oh I just cant wait to be king" the three sang together with huge smiles. "oh wait I'm gonna puke again, lance stop driving horribly" hunk said with fear and went pale as he stood between pidge and lance. "you better not puke over me" lance yelled with worry. "wait lance look ahead" pidge yelled as he turned to look at hunk and was flying towards a space rock. "lance" pidge yelled again making him and hunk look back to see they were now gonna crash. "your dead" the screen flashed with red lights around making the three frown and step out. "nice work soldiers, yelling and crashing" the captain smirked. "oh and nice show, Lion king is cool" shiro grinned as they pointed to the screen and all three felt embarrassed.
