Camila's POV
The days passed, not as slowly as I would have liked or as fast as it seems. The sun wad on my face, while I waited for Lauren lying in her dad's car.
“I thought you had repented” I commented, when she went out the door.
“I promised you, didn't I? Well, here I am”. she said and kissed me on the forehead when she came to my side
Taylor came back claiming.
“But Laur, I promise that I will stay still” she tried to argue again “I've been doing that since before. I'm not going to interrupt you.”
“Of course you will” she said firmly
“she will lose concentration” Lauren explained for the millionth time.
“I won't be a distraction” Taylor answered, for which it should also be the millionth time
“Taylor, go where your boyfriend goes” she said laughing “after she learns the basics we will go with you.”
“But I want to go with you now” she said and crossed her arms, making a tantrum.
“I'm not a teacher, I'm not going to be able to teach you by analyzing me from the back seat” she said and looked at her “now be a good sister and understand.”
“If you don't pick me up from here in two hours, I'll call you every five minutes” she said and went into the house.
“It was about time” she said and looked at me “she has been screaming in my ears since seven o'clock” she rolled her eyes, smiled.
“Are you sure this will work?” I bit my lips, nervous.
“Of course” she affirmed “ but you won't be doubting of my capacity like professor oka?” she said and raised an eyebrow, I shook my head and she smiled.
“Hm, first come here”she said and I followed her to the front of the car and
she said “Camila engine, engine Camila”
It took me two seconds to remember the day I looked for the engine in the trunk. And two more to assimilate that she had not forgotten.
“Pleasure to meet you” I said and laughed
Ready for my driving class with Lauren.
Lauren's POV
Think of someone run over.
Okay. Now multiply it by a hundred.
All right. Now add it with the same amount of distraction. And now multiply the result by all the stars in the universe. You may come closer to discovering how complicated this class is.
“Camila, place both hands on the steering wheel” I said I think for the thousandth time
“I was just adjusting my hair” she defended herself “my pava falls every time” she said and looked at me
“Look forward.” I ordered
“I don't like talking to people and not seeing them. It's lack of education.” she defended herself
“I promise I won't mind if you do.”
“LOOK AT THAT” she shouted, looking to one side “that dress is just perfect” she commented, seeing a dress in a showcase
And the car heading towards the same place she was looking at.
“CAMILA” I called her attention
“Ay” she said and looked forward, scared “I'm sorry” she said and smiled
“I have a mosquito singing in my ear” she took a hand off the wheel to remove the mosquito.
“Camila...” I repeated “your hands” I murmured.
“What do they have?” she looked at them
“They should be at the steering wheel.” I explained
“For God's sake. What a boring thing.” she said
“You need to pay attention on the road...”
I commented
“But there's nothing to see in it” she said in a monotonous voice “besides, you won't even let me go fast”
“Yes, I don't intend to die yet. And don't complain, at least I can each you the basics...” I said
We stopped at a traffic light, but when she turned green she got stuck and couldn't drive again. Within seconds they started honking behind us.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.” she said releasing the steering wheel once
“They're making me nervous” she said and crossed his arms. “I won't move until they stop with the pressure.”
