Issei and I were walking to school after we had found out about us being devils from Rias and we were about to start talking about it when...
???: "KYAA!"
I turned and saw a blonde girl who had just fallen. She had, unfortunately fallen in such a way that her underwear was showing, earning a lecherous smile from Issei and that earned him a smack from me.
Y/n: "bro, I love you. But I'm gonna fucking kill you one of these days."
I walked over to the blonde.
Y/n: "hey there! You ok?"
???: "ah, yes. Sorry I just tripped."
I helped her to her feet and got a good look at her. The blonde hair was obvious but her eyes were like emeralds. She was also pretty short and had this absolutely adorable demeanor about her.
Y/n: "no problem. You need help with anything?"
???: "actually yes. I seem to have lost my way. I'm looking for the church, do you know where I can find it?"
Y/n: "sure, I'll show you the way."
I then turned to Issei.
Y/n: "I got this bro. You head to school, and tell Rias and Sona that I'll be a little bit late."
Issei: "right, see ya at school then bro."
I flipped him off and he walked to school.
Y/n: "let's get going then, shall we?"
???: "yes, thank you. My name's Asia Argento by the way."
Y/n: "Y/n Hyoudou. It a pleasure to meet you miss Argento."
We smiled at one another and started off to the church.
Y/n: "So Asia, what brings you to this town?"
Asia: "I've recently been moved to the church here to work as a nun."
She had a bright smile and I couldn't help but feel happy around her.
Y/n: "Cinnamon roll alert! Cute levels hitting critical!"
We walked for a few minutes and came across a boy who had just fallen and was crying. Asia saw this and ran over to him and started to comfort him.
I walked over and knelt down to look him in the eyes.
Y/n: "come on kid, it's just a scrape. You've gotta be strong so don't let things like this get you down, Kay?"
Boi: "*sniff* o-okay."
I smiled and ruffled his hair, then a saw Asia holding her hands over his knee and a green light shone out and his wound was healed.
Boi: "wow, thanks miss and mister!"
The kid ran off with a wide smile and I couldn't help but laugh.
Asia: "I'm sorry, you probably think that that was weird, huh?"
Y/n: "nah, I think that's an amazing power hat you've got."
Y/n: "sacred gear, anyone?"
Cykran: "yup, definitely."
Nerolyth: "twilight healing, nice."
Rexalian: "yeah, that's a really powerful sacred gear, br-"
Nerolyth: "finish that sentence, and I'm gonna kill you."
Asia: "I consider this power to be a gift and a blessing. What about you, do you have any beliefs?"
Y/n: "never been very religious but I was brought up in an orphanage so I know a bit about Christianity."
Asia: "an orphanage?"
Y/n: "yeah, I was brought up by sisters Evelyn and Freya. You know them?"
Asia's face lit up.
Asia: "yes! I've met them before. They were actually at the last church that I was sent to. They're both very kind people and helped me out whenever I needed it."
Y/n: "those two brought me up. I'll don't think that I'll ever be able to repay them for that."
Asia smiled at me and we continued to walk until we reached the church. Instantly, my hands, legs and head began to sting.
Asia: "would you like to come in for some tea?"
Y/n: "nah, as much as I would love to Asia, I've gotta get to school otherwise I'm not gonna have a good time."
Asia: "okay then, maybe you'll visit?"
Y/n: "you bet!"
She smiled at me and I began to walk away from the church towards the school. I then felt someone watching me.
Y/n: "yo, if you're gonna hide, then RETRACT YOUR WINGS YOU COMPLETE FUD!"
I looked towards a tree and, sure enough there was someone trying to hide behind it but their black wings were poking out from behind the tree so it was pretty damn obvious that they were there.
???: "umm, you can't see me!"
It was a girl, the voice sounded familiar to me. But from where?
Y/n: "not entirely, but I can hear you, idiot."
I walked over to the tree and dragged her out, the bitch that killed Issei and helped to kill me.
Y/n: "oh look, skanky mcslutface."
???: "it's Raynare!"
Y/n: "and I thank you for that information you complete moron."
Raynare: "I...you...fuck."
She sighed in annoyance whilst I stifled a laugh.
Y/n: "let the shenanigans begin."
Y/n: "so what? You looking for my brother again? Because I have Rias on speed dial."
Raynare backed up a bit and I could see the fear in her face.
Y/n: "either way, I'm warning you now. If any harm comes to Asia, Imma pound you six feet into the dirt."
I thought about what I said for a few seconds whilst Raynare's face turned red.
Raynare: "w-watch your phrasing."
Y/n: "wow, and I though my brother was the biggest pervert I know."
Raynare: "I-I'm not a pervert."
Y/n: "yeah and I'm Waldo. Try and find me, bitch."
This seemed to piss her off and I then started to walk away.
Raynare: "where are you going, pussy."
Y/n: "stop rubbing yours to thoughts of me and I'll tell you."
This shut her up and I walked away sniggering. Finally, I got something good out of that pervert.
Timeskip to after school
Rias: "you are never to go near that church again, Y/n."
Y/n: "I know, but it was so much fun to mess with her."
Rias: "her?"
Y/n: "oh yeah, I ran into the fallen angel that killed Issei and I decided to piss her off. Turns out that her name's Raynare. They're obviously planning something for Asia, considering her sacred gear, twilight healing, it's gotta be something to do with that."
Kiba: "how do you know what her sacred gear is called?"
Nerolyth: "you're welcome."
Y/n: "yup, thanks guys."
Rias: "well, that is good information. Oh I can't stay mad at you."
Rias brought me into a hug and I saw Issei getting jealous and I flipped him off when Rias broke the hug and walked back to her desk.
Rias: "either way, we now know that the fallen have a purpose here. We can plan for the future now."
I nodded and saw Akeno giving me that 'I want the D' face so I decided to voice my concern.
Y/n: "Akeno."
Akeno: "yes, Y/n?"
Y/n: "stop staring at me."
Akeno: "Ara ara, you noticed? do you really want me to stop?~"
Y/n: " Akeno, at this moment in time I can be accurately described with two words. Thot. Destroyer."
Issei started to laugh and Kiba was trying to contain himself.
Rias: "Y/n, down boy."
Koneko then scooted over and sat in my lap.
Y/n: "Mc fucking 'scuse me?"
Koneko: "problem?"
Y/n: "not really, but why the hell are you sitting on my lap?"
Koneko: "because it's comfortable, and I need to make sure that you don't break yourself again. Besides, you didn't complain yesterday."
Y/n: "you're still on about that!? And I didn't complain yesterday because I was more focussed on what Rias was saying."
Kiba: "she hasn't dropped the subject since she found out."
Time for some chaos then.
Y/n: "aww, you do care."
Koneko looked away and I could tell that she was blushing, this only fuelled the fire of my shenanigans. Rias saw this and began to giggle.
Rias: "Y/n, seriously. Stop being so mean."
Y/n: "I'm not being mean. besides, she's enjoying it."
Koneko had enough and tried to punch me, only for me to grab Issei and use him as a shield.
Issei: "Why...why would you do that?"
Y/n: "the kendo club at lunchtime, remember?"
Koneko: "what'd he do?"
Y/n: "he tried to peep again."
Koneko calmed herself knowing that I just helped her punish the pervert.
The next thirty minutes were spent with me messing with everyone, much to their amusement.
Y/n: "I mean, come on Kiba! You've got girls throwing themselves at you. Just fucking pick one!"
I had been pestering Kiba to man up and choose a fucking girl to fall in love with already. Kiba was, at this point, dying of laughter even though he was on the receiving end of my antics.
Kiba: "it's not as simple as that, dude!"
Y/n: "the hell it fucking isn't! Just fuckin' go up to one and start making moves for fucks sake!"
At this point, Rias was in tears. I had been tearing into Issei beforehand and had sent her into a fit of laughter. She was still having that fit.
Rias: "Y/n, *inhale* stop! I can't breathe!"
She wiped away some tears from her eyes and I just kept going.
Y/n: "Kiba, buddy. The way I see this, you've got two options. Either pick a girl to go out with, or steal Issei's dream of having a harem. It's not fucking difficult!"
Issei: "hey, I thought that you were done with me!"
Y/n: "HAHAHA! No."
I then sensed someone near the door and smiled.
Y/n: "and could whoever the fuck is at the door just come in already!"
The door opened and in came someone that I'd never seen before. She had blue hair and emitted a faint holy aura. Then it clicked.
Y/n: "shit, Fallen Angel!"
Everyone got into a defensive stance, except Issei, he just kinda stood there like a retard.
???: "I'm here to speak to lady Gremory."
Rias looked pissed now.
Rias: "and who might you be, other than a fallen angel."
Y/n: "I literally just said that."
Rias: "not now, Y/n!"
Y/n: "I'm just saying..."
Rias: "I don't care, you're my servant and I need to take responsibility for anything that happens to you!"
Y/n: "ahem. Oh, I CaN't StAy mAd At yOu."
Rias smacked me upside the head and tried to stifle a laugh.
???: "I came to inform you that Donahseek plans to take that girl, Asia's sacred gear from her soon. I wanted to warn you."
Rias: "why is a fallen giving us this information?"
Y/n: "is it by any chance related to how Raynare didn't actually want to kill Issei and I?"
Everyone's eyes widened at me.
???: "y-yes, how did you-?"
Y/n: "I have really bullshit powers."
???: "okay, this makes things a tad easier then."
Rias: "Y/n, what are you talking about?"
Y/n: "simple, Raynare, or Yuuma, as she called herself, didn't actually want to kill us. She hesitated when she started to attack me. That and she would've killed me when I saw her at the church."
???: "he's right. We didn't actually want to kill you. Donahseek is just a suck up to Kokabiel. We just got roped into this. He's the one that we really want to kill."
Rias: "so you want us to save Asia?"
???: "yes, that's correct. That and, I'd like to be placed in your service."
Akeno: "as a devil?"
???: "no, think of me as more of a maid."
Rias' expression softened and she smiled.
Rias: "what's your name?"
???: "Kalawarner."
Rias: "in that case, welcome aboard Kalawarner."
She nodded and then we went back to our devil business with Issei and I going to a few summonings.
???: "be careful, Y/n."
The voice whispered into my ear and I spun around to see...nothing. it was strange, it was a woman's voice, but it sounded so warm, comforting even.
Nerolyth: "you okay, Y/n?"
Y/n: "I thought I heard a voice."
Cykran: "we heard it too. I think I know what it was."
Y/n: "well don't keep me waiting!"
Rexalian: "that, brother, was the Phoenix. The true Phoenix, not one of the fuckwads house of Phenex."
I turned back to my client, who was a video game nerd and loved monster hunter, so I helped him by giving advice and we ended up taking him up to the fight against Nergigante.
