Camila's POV
I entered the room and found Taylor lying on the bed...
“Hey, weren'you down there with Drew?”
I asked, sitting in the computer chair
“I was, he didn't take long to leave.”
she smiled “and since I saw that you and Laur were talking, I decided to go up.” she looked at me “she didn't bother you?”
“No no.” I said quickly“she just asked me some things.”
“It's funny to see her talking to you” she sat on the bed “but it's good too” she smiled “who knows and maybe she becomes more sociable.”
“No one knows” I smiled, looking at her.
We were talking about other matters, later Taylor decided to take me for a walk, to go for an ice cream, we decided to tell Clara and Michael.
“Invite your sister.” I said to Taylor. She made a bored face. “Tay, she stayed in the house all day, it will do her good to breathe some fresh air.”
“I agree with that, since the least she has is pure air.” she said, rolling his eyes.
“Call her” I said low, when we passed by her.
Taylor took a deep breath.
“Lauren, do you want to go have an ice cream with us?”
“It's a miracle that you invite me to something.” she spoke, looking at her.
“Yes or no, answer before I repent.” she said seriously.
“Yes, okay” she got up “I can't stand being one more minute in this house.”
I confess that I was a bit shocked by the fact that she accepted quickly and also a little worried, in the end, she didn't leave that couch all day and now she's going to go get an ice cream.
“I have to take you shopping urgently.” Taylor commented, as we walked.
“Are you implying that I need to buy something urgent?” I teased
“No,” she spoke quickly, “of course not.” she looked at me “I just want you to see new things.”
“Calmate Taylor, I was just kidding.” I smiled, she pushed me from my shoulder.
“If someday I come to offend you on something, please tell me. I have the facility to talk a lot and offend people unintentionally.” she said.
“Nah it's okay.” I smiled.
“Well, going on, there are so many places to visit before the holidays are over.”
“Calmate Taylor, we have a whole year waiting for us” I smiled.
Then we got to the ice cream parlor, Lauren came quietly all the way, I almost didn't even notice she was there.
When we entered I noticed that Taylor was a little tense, I tried to follow her look, but I didn't discover much, she shot Lauren a look, as she was being warned, she just turned her eyes and went to the table where she was a group of teenagers.
“Who are they?” I asked, nodding at them.
“The idiots she walks with.” she sighed
“why don't you go to an alley to scare someone?” she said taking a basket of ice cream and entering the row, I did the same.
“Stop Tay.” I touched her shoulder, looking at Lauren, who was already sitting with them.
We got our ice cream, Taylor and I sawthey were approaching that table.
“Aren't you going to serve us?” he asked, looking directly at Lauren, but one of them answered.
“Look at that baby...” he said laughing.
“Lauren...” he said to the boy “please come with us.”
This time it was a girl with blond hair, very pretty so that someone wouldn't think she was involved in those things, she answered.
“Obey your sister Laur..” she said in a mocking tone.
Taylor sighed, but didn't get out of there. Then another boy, who had small eyes and a pimple on his face that urgently needed to be squeezed, got into it.
“Hey, pretty, you should smoke a cigarette to calm yourself down” he said in a slow tone.
“Damn it, if I'm going to calm down like you are, then I do not want to, because it looks like you had a spill.” she said, making me endure, not to laugh.
The boy stayed a few seconds thinking about what she said, then answered.
“Well, then go fuck yourself, idiot.” Taylor ignored him and continued to look at Lauren.
“Please.” she whispered. “Only for today.” She gave me a look, as if she was showing me that she didn't want me to see Lauren dating those idiots or something.
Lauren only shook her head and looked down, Taylor looked at her for a few seconds, then turned and left, I followed her to the middle of the ice cream shop, because I couldn't stand the way Lauren treated her and I went back to the table.
“Lauren get up.” I said serious, uniting all the courage that exists in me.
She raised an eyebrow, looking at me, while her ‘friends’ laughed in my face.
“Listen to me one second. I didn't leave Mexico to come to Miami to see a group of drug addicts.” I said upset.
“Can you at least go back to us?
If you want you can come here to end your life later, the problem is yours.”
Taylor was by my side, with her mouth open “Taylor invited you in a good way, will you be so selfish to the point of thinking only of yourself?” I raised one of my eyebrows, making a lot of strength not to pay attention to those idiots who were still laughing.
Lauren didn't move, just looked at me threateningly.
“If you don't get up right now, I call the security guard who is there at the door to come and check your friends.” I said with a smile on my face.
At that moment the four stopped laughing and opened their eyes.
“Well Lauren?” I faced her
“the decision's in your hands.”
Lauren complained about something and got up, totally upset, I kept my pose hard, but at the same time I was very afraid of the face that her friends made and they likely discussed what she will do with me.
But when I saw a smile in Taylor, I lost a bit of fear.
All the way home we were quiet, Taylor sometimes tried to say something, but I was very tense, when we got in front of the door, she entered, but Lauren held me back.
“What's your problem?” she asked, very brave.
“You are hurting me.” I referred to her hand holding my arm lightly.
“Answer me.” She said irritably, squeezing more and more.
“Stop straighting my arm.” I ordered, calmly.
“You think you're very expert, just because you come from another country.” She said lookiny at me I think you'll have to learn how the band plays here.” she said, hurting me more “you won't always have the protection of my family Camila, you don't in believe enemies...” she warned, looking at me.

“So strong for some things and so weak for others.” she looked at me, a wry smile on her lips.
“Lauren let go.” I said trying to release my arm, which only worsened the situation.
I falled back on top of her, hitting my body with Lauren's, I groaned in pain as my arm twisted.
“Calm down.” She said, holding me against her body.
“Leave me imbecile.” I said very angry.
“That's the only thing you know how to say?” she spoke laughing.
“Stupid.” I shouted angrily, then I gathered all my strength and I kicked her between her legs, Lauren closed her eyes, with pain and released my arm, so the only thing I did was run inside.
