After all the chaotic mess that happened last day.....this new day came with a new ray of sunshine.
The Rathores bid farewell to Vikram, Smriti, Akira, her parents and the adorable kids.
Along with them were the Rajvanshis.
Both Vikram and Akira avoided each other.
There were two Jets and all the elders boarded in one leaving the young bunch to gather together.
Kartik informed they had to first halt at Mount Abu, for some business meeting and then they would leave to Delhi.
He also planned a visit to an amusement park for kids, in order to reduce the building tension.
Looking at the excited Vidit and Kiyara, both Vikram and Akira refrained from any further argument. They were relieved to see the kids happy.
Through out the journey, Akira did not say a word to Vikram, however she could not understand as to why! She was in deep thoughts.
And Vikram, on the other hand, stole a few glances of her. Something had changed inside him for Akira. May be it was the way he opened up to her. He was seeing her in different light. He really appreciated the way she handled the situation.
Despite of their different feelings, they were jovial with both the kids, which did not go unnoticed by Smriti and Kartik.
The newly engaged couple also had a cozy time together. Afterall, They were in Love.
And Akira admired them.
Soon they landed at Mount Abu. They halted at Rajvanshis Villa.
Soon, after the meeting, Kartik came to take them to the Amusement Park.
Looking at the restless Kartik, Akira decided to send him with Smriti in a separate car.
Kartik mouthed a thank you and took Smriti with him.
Left with kids and Vikram alone, Akira was a bit uncomfortable.
Sensing her hesitation he cleard his throat and said - Um....let's go? We will be behind.
Akira nodded.
She made both the kids sit, securing them in the baby car seats. And moved towards the passenger seat.
Vikram ignited the engine.
Both the kids slept as they were dead tired due to the previous flight.
There was silence in the car.
Vikram muttered - This is really awkward!
Akira heard and looked outside the window.
Thank you - said Vikram
For what! - asked Akira
You know, you were patient with me last night. I am....I am sorry if I crossed my lines. - he said
It's ok! It was the Alcohol! - she said
Smriti helped me! - she added.
Yeah! - Vikram said and then again there was silence.
Soon, Vikram parked the car outside the Amusement Park.
Akira took sleeping Kiyara on her shoulder and Vikram had Vidit at his back, as he was awake and demanded Vikram to carry him on his back. Akira objected but Vikram said it was ok.
Suddenly, Vikram's mobile started to ring. And he was not able to take the call as he was holding Vidit.
He gestured Akira to take out his mobile from his tee. Akira was hesitant but came close to Vikram, gulping her saliva and with her this close, Vikram's Adam's apple moved. They shared a short eye lock, before Akira put her fingers inside his pocket with great caution. She took out the mobile and saw it was Smriti calling. Vikram gestured to take the call and put it on speaker.
Bhai where are you guys? We have been waiting for you!
Omg, Are you purposely delaying since Akira is with you? - Smriti shouted from the other end
Both Akira and Vikram were embarrassed and looked away.
Vikram said - Ah! Princess! Hold on ...we are just outside. Tell me at which counter you guys are ....we will reach there.!
We are at the reservation counter. Come fast! I am missing the kids. And she hung up.
Vikira shared a half smile and proceeded inside the park.
Kiyara also woke up by this time. Both Vikram and Akira came inside holding both the kids and Smriti saw them from a distance. She nudged Kartik and said - Look, aren't they looking like a complete happy family. This is what I was talking about but These idiots think that I am immature.
Kartik said - Yes baby! Even I can see they complete each other but we should not push them. Let them realise it themselves. And today's plan will also bring them closer. Trust me!
You are the Best, Kartik! - Smriti jumped
I know baby! - said Kartik
Both the kids jumped out from their holds and rushed towards the rides. Leaving a panicked and yelling Vikram and Akira.
Let them be Bhai! Said Kartik.
Soon, the kids wanted to ride the Giant wheel. Vikram took both of them in a cube, looking at a lovey-dovey Smriti and Kartik, Akira had no other choice but to join Vikram.
What he did not know that she was hell scared of heights and rides.
She mentally boosted herself and took a deep breath and sat clutching the handles real tight.
Vikram saw her amused and unwantedly a smile crept on his lips. The wheel started to spin and both the kids were shouting and laughing. And Akira sat there keeping her eyes shut and unknowingly she clutched Vikram's arms tight.
Vikram felt a current pass through him. But more than that he was amused and laughing inside at her innocence.
Soon the ride was over, Vidit and Kiyara shook Akira, that's when Akira opened her eyes.
Vikram Smirked and she noticed her hands on his arms and she released quickly looking away.
She began blabbering - Sorry! Um....I am scared of heights and rides! If it was not for the kids ..I would have never came....and I would have never....touched your arms....I am sorry.....I was scared.....I am....
Vikram in reflux, shushed her placing a finger on her lips. The touch of Her soft lips created a new sensation inside him which were unknown to him. He quickly took his finger back and said - it's ok! No worries! I didn't mind!
Later, they all had lunch and then kids wanted to go the water pool.
Kartik dragged Smriti with him inside the pool. And he encircled her in his arms feeling her proximity. These lovebirds could not get enough of each other.
Vikram muttered - Idiots! They have no control!
Akira just nervously looked away.
They both along with kids entered the pool and kids started to play with water, making each other drenched.
Soon, Vikram and Akira were also soaked.
Vikram eyes could not stop looking at the wet Akira. It was not lust but He was mesmerised by her beauty. She was looking ethereal even without make up. Her laugh, her cute pout left him breathless. Her laugh died when she caught him looking intently at her. She became conscious of her soaked clothes. Vikram quickly averted his eyes.
He mentally facepalmed himself.
But soon his eyes turned red and his blood boiled looking at few creepy men lusting over her drenched body. He balled his fist and glared they hard.
He grabbed Akira by her waist and jerked her towards him. Akira was startled at his sudden move. She struggled in his hold but he tightened his grip. He said in a high voice much to Akira's surprise - kids! Look at your Mommy! She is making me all drenched! And you are not helping your daddy!
Both the kids joined him splashing water all over.
Akira looked at him horrified! She thought what craziness has possessed him!
He gestured her to play along and he showed her those morons who were oogling at her shamelessly. She felt embarrassed.
But what he did next left her hitch her breath.
He kissed her cheeks! And glared at those creeps who looked away!
She turned tomato red. It was a long long time ago when someone had kissed her, except for the kids.
Vikram internally laughed at her nervousness.
Then, he gestured all of them to come out of pool. Unaware of the fact that Smriti and Kartik were watching them in awe.
Soon, they reached the Changing room. After Changing both the kids in fresh clothes, Vikram and Akira went to change.
They left in their respective cars to reach the Villa as they had to fly again.
Both Akira and Vikram were lost in their own thoughts as they remembered the time they spent together. The laughs they all shared. The fun that their kids had together, was beyond words.
At the end, They forgot all the stress that they were going through few hours back. The kids were real Stress Busters.
They sure gonna miss the company!
