*October 31 on Privet Drive*
A lone owl sat on the street sign to Privet Drive as an old yet wise wizard came out of the shadows created by the cold night while a gray tabby cat sat on the curb. The old wizard took out a lighter like device that stole the street light's lights one by one til it was pitch black, the tabby meowed at the old wizard whom looked down at the feline. "I should have known that you would have been here...Professor McGonagall." The wise wizard said as the cat shifted from a feline to a stern looking witch in emerald green robes. "Good evening, Professor Dumbledore." She said while they walked side by side. "Are the rumors true, Albus?" Mcgonagall asked Dumbledore. "I'm afraid so, Professor. The good and the bad." Dumbledore said as Mcgonagall looked at him scared. "And the girl and boy?" She asked while the man smiled lightly. "Hagrid is bringing them." He said as Mcgonagall looked skeptical. "Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?" She questioned while they walked up to the house of Vernon, Petunia and Dudley Dursley. "Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life." Once that was said a motorcycle engine whirred in the sky before landing on the ground ground in front of the two professors. Hagrid was a huge tall man draped in different animal skins yet on his chest held two little surprises as he removed his protective eye goggles. "Professor Dumbledore, sir. Professor Mcgonagall." Hagrid said as he carefully got off the bike and walked over "No problems I trust, Hagrid?" Dumbledore asked as Hagrid replied. "No, sir. Little tykes fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake them." Mcgonagall held of the first bundle which a little girl slept peacefully in as Dumbledore hold the second bundle which contained a baby boy sleeping as well. "There you go." Mcgonagall and Dumbledore walked towards the front porch step. "Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving them here with them? She's my goddaughter." Mcgonagall said while looking at the sleeping girl's short h/c hair. "The only family by blood they have left." Dumbledore said as Mcgonagall stopped in front of the step. "They'll be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know their names." She said honestly as the girl stirred in her sleep. "Exactly. They'll be far better off growing up away from all of that. Until they both are ready." Dumbledore slowly placed the boy down onto the step as Mcgonagall looked down at the girl one last time before kissing her forehead lightly then placed her beside the boy to whom the girl held onto the boy's tiny hand in her own. Hagrid sniffled crying as Dumbledore and Mcgonagall looked at Hagrid. "There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all." Dumbledore said before the two professors looked down at the sleeping children while Dumbledore placed a letter to Mr. & Mrs. Dursley on the child's blankets. "Good luck...Y/n and Harry Potter." Dumbledore said as they looked at the children's lighting bolt shaped scars on their foreheads. The next morning Petunia went outside to get the newspaper and milk bottles only to find her niece and nephew sleeping peacefully. The woman quickly picked them up and brought them inside while Vernon looked up at his wife from feeding their son, Dudley to see his niece and nephew then the letter to which he opened it and read it out loud. Petunia cried for weeks but stopped when she noticed Y/n making Dudley and Harry float in the air with Vernon getting them back down then she picked up her niece whom smiled at her. "We'll raise your children, Lily. I promise little sister." Petunia said as the girl made her smile again.
*Ten Years Later*
A knock was heard at a red oak stained door thus waking up a young girl with long h/c hair yawning from her bed. "Y/n wake up, it's your birthday my lovely niece." Aunt Petunia Dursley said from the door. "Okay Auntie, I'll be right down just got to get dressed first." Y/n said smiling sweetly as she stretched out her body slowly in her red and gold pajamas and looked at her bed but more at her stuffed deer, doe, wolf, dog, and tiny rat. "Good morning Prongs, Lilyflower, Moony, Padfoot and Wormtail. Today's my eleventh birthday finally I get to go to Hogwarts and learn everything my parents did along with a few pranks on the way." She said smiling before changing into her black leggings, red tshirt, a long gray skirt with a pair of white sneakers and a ruby lined key necklace on her neck as she looked up at the mirror til two ten year old boys ran into her bedroom. "Dudley, Harry good morning but you should knock on the door before entering a girl's bedroom." She said honestly as she brushed out her messy h/c hair and hugged her cousin and little brother close in a bear hug.
Harry had messy dark brown hair from our dad but our mum's green eyes but we had one thing else in common, the lighting bolt shaped scars on our foreheads. Harry James Potter is cocky, kind, lovingly, polite and loyal while I'm mischievous, sweet,protective, brave, extremely smart and a bit cocky. My h/c hair turns red when the light hits it just right along with me getting my mum's beauty mixed with my dad's mischievous personality. Harry and I were skinny even when we after we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
"Happy birthday sis/cousin!" The boys said as I hugged them tightly and kissed their foreheads. Dudley Dursley, a chubby boy with black hair although a bit of a brat at times, I'll admit I wouldn't trade these boys for anything. "Thanks Harry and Dudley well let's head downstairs shall we, I'll race ya two." Y/n said before running off downstairs with the boys behind her then ran into the kitchen seeing her chubby Uncle Vernon reading the paper while drinking coffee and her skinny Aunt Petunia cooking breakfast. From bacon, sunny side up eggs, and toast along with orange juice to fresh fruit with porridge. As we all ate a knock was heard at the door before aunt Petunia got up Y/n did slowly opening up the door seeing a giant man with a bushy beard and dressed in odd clothes.
"Ello there, I'm Hagrid and I'm lookin for Y/n Lily Potter." The giant man now known as Hagrid said while Y/n helped him come inside carefully. "Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon this man Hagrid knows my name." She said smiling happily as her uncle greeted the giant man before he said the words the eldest Potter girl has been wanting to hear. "Time to go to Diagon Alley to get Ms. Y/n Potter's school supplies for her first year at Hogwarts" Hagrid said making the girl squeal happily as she ran upstairs and getting a red and gold trimmed bag that held the name Potter on it in silver sewn letters. The bag once belonged to her dad for the money from Gringotts Wizarding Bank and no doubt that the girl would need it for it held an ever expanding charm within it.
Y/n Potter ran back downstairs and hugged her Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, her cousin Dudley and finally her little brother Harry Potter while kissing his lighting bolt shaped scar. "I'll be back later, I love you all!" She said while running outside to wait for Hagrid humming happily as she imagined what the wizarding world would be like as she imagined it a thousand times in her dreams. From her wand, her pet, even when she'd arrive at Hogwarts and which of the four great houses to be sorted into from Gryffindor the home of those with great bravery, chivalry and daring nerve, Ravenclaw the house of those with great intellectual minds, wisdom, and inventive, Hufflepuff the house of loyalty, patience, and fairness or maybe even Slytherin the house of great cunning, resourcefulness and ambition. But in all honesty Y/n Potter hoped she find everlasting friendships on the way there since the muggle children never really understood her here besides her family heck even her cruel aunt Marge understood her better especially her bulldog Ripper whom loved getting cuddles from the girl.
Y/n looked up at the sky watching the clouds thinking to herself. "It's time dad, mum looked after me and harry please on our way to Hogwarts and all the adventures we will no doubt have there. I wish you were here with us, to see me head off to Diagon Alley ha dad would be beside himself with pride saying "My little girl is going to be a Gryffindor lioness!" While you mum would be trying to get to not embarrass me but I'd just laugh joining in with him. I miss you so much even though I remember bits and pieces of you two but I can still feel your love for Harry and I, deep within my heart. I promise here and now that I'll be the best witch and sister, niece, cousin and future friend that I can be to everyone that I love and cherish in my long journey ahead." Y/n felt a large hand on her left shoulder and looked up at Hagrid smiling happily as they took his motorcycle into London.
