Matty woke up with hair on his face, it wasn't his hair. He coughed and spluttered until the hair eventually moved. He groaned and looked to the side to see Kat sleeping with her mouth open. He smiled and kissed her cheek before rolling out of bed. He stretched his body from side to side in front of the window before peeping through the curtain at the view.
It was rare that he woke up in a foreign country and felt so calm about it. He opened one side of the curtains and let the light in. It shone a a few lines on Kat's sleeping body and he smiled. she was so beautiful.
He looked at the time and decided she had slept enough, he walked over to her and crawled on top of her. She didn't wake up; so he slowly lowered himself onto her. She groaned and he smiled.
"Good morning." He mumbled against her cheek, she let out a giggle and wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed below his ear.
"Get off me you fat lump." She muttered, he chuckled and nuzzled his nose into her neck.
"You're so joyous in the morning. That's why I love you." He shuffled his body on hers. Kat opened her eyes and remembered her and George's conversation from the night before. She tightened her grip and kissed him a few more times.
"The feelings mutual." Was all she could muster. He chuckled and got off her.
"I'm having a shower. You coming?" He held out his hand, she smiled and took it so they could shower together.
Matty got in the shower first and then Kat joined 5 minutes later after she had tied up her hair. She got into the steaming shower and pushed him out of the way of the water.
"You're hair is so long." He allowed her boobs to push against his chest as he reached over and touched her ponytail.
"So is yours." She reached up and pulled at his curls. His mouth opened as she pulled them and he broke into a wide mouthed grin.
"You never did cut my hair." He said against her cheek. She yanked it again to see what reaction she got but what she didn't expect was for him to moan into her ear. She giggled and pushed him away from her.
"Can you wash mine?" She asked, he nodded and turned her around.
He washed her hair and then she washed his. It was a very civilised shower that both enjoyed a lot. Kat was about to get out when Matty pulled her back, sliding her across the shower and pressing his lips to hers. She wrapped her leg around his thigh and kissed him back.
Kat walked out of the bathroom to find George and Tammy sat on the bed, chatting. She almost screamed, not realising they were there.
"Did you just shower together?" Tammy asked, she nodded lightly. "Get dressed, I need an outfit for tonight" she instructed. George just watched with an amused face.
"Matty, George and Tammy are here." Kat called back into the bathroom. A loud groan came from inside and she laughed. A few moments later, he arrived in the room with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"But we're meant to have the day." He kissed her shoulder as he walked past to get dressed.
"Yes but Kat is coming out with me today." Tammy argued unapologetically. Matty glared at her while Kat grabbed some clothes and ran back into the bathroom.
"Why are you taking her away from me? You've had your whole life to spend time with her." He pouted like a child. Tammy rolled her eyes while George shook his head.
"Matty." He scolded, he just shrugged as if he had done no wrong.
Kat came back out just as Matty had pulled on some joggers. She was wearing jeans and one of his hoodies, he smiled at the sight of her.
"Okay. I'll text you when we're on our way back." She directed at Matty as she grabbed her phone and put it in her bag. He strutted over to her and gave her a hard kiss.
"Don't forget." He muttered, she smiled and put her bag over her shoulder. Tammy had opened the door and was already half way out of it.
"I won't. I love you both." She said to him and George. Matty scoffed.
"That's reassuring" he teased. She slapped him on his naked arm and he laughed loudly as she left the hotel room.
"You seem happy." George laid down on the bed and waited for Matty to get dressed.
"Well, yeah." Matty said awkwardly. He wasn't used to being happy in a relationship and he definitely wasn't used to talking about it.
"That's good. Kat seems happy too." He assured him. Matty paused his actions and looked up at him.
"Do you think so?" He asked insecurely. "Because I know she doesn't do relationships and every time I do something boyfriendy I'm scared she's going to think it's too much." He expressed. George smiled.
"These girls." He laughed and shook his head. "Who knew a pair of sisters could cause so much stress in one band?" He took in a deep breath and picked himself back up so he was now sat on the edge of the bed.
"Christ, I know. You know what, I knew Kat was going to change my life somehow but I didn't think she'd have a sister to change yours." Matty threw on a hoodie with embroidered flowers on the sleeves. And let his hair air dry.
"At least you know Kat wants to be with you." George confessed. Matty sat on the bed next to him.
"Mate, I think she's still figuring it out." He stressed. Matty did wonder whether Kat knew for definite about their relationship as much as he did. "Has Angie not said anything?"
"She keeps saying she doesn't know what she wants and she needs to figure it out." He rubbed his forehead.
"When does she go back to Manchester?" Matty wondered. George looked at him.
"Four days." He answered.
"So when she leaves, give her an ultimatum. Say, that she can either leave with or without a boyfriend but you need to know where you stand." He suggested. George accepted the advice but still snorted.
"Look at you, relationship guru." He laughed, Matty punched him in the arm.
"Stop it. I'm far from it. I can barely keep a girlfriend." He laughed but it was sad.
"Kat's gonna stick. She's here for the long run." He nudged him so he was listening.
"Don't jinx it." Matty whispered. "I really hope she is." George sat quietly for a moment. Kat had completely destroyed this boy in the best way possible and it was absolutely fascinating.
Tammy and Kat walked along the streets of Milan, trying to find somewhere affordable to buy some clothes for Tammy to wear to their dinner tonight.
"So, you and Matthew," She started. Kat slipped her phone into her pocket and smiled. "You two good?" She asked.
"I think so." She shrugged. "Although, I don't really know how it could be better." Tammy grinned and linked their arms as they walked. "Tammy, you've had successful relationships: can I ask you a question?" She wondered. Tammy laughed.
"You can ask me anything babe, you know that." She nudged her slightly. Kat grinned.
"Do you do, like, special things for Ross a lot?" She asked. Tammy squinted her eyes as if she was trying to de code the question.
"Like sexually?" She wondered, Kat's eyes widened.
"No!" She burst. "No, I mean like...I don't know...buy him something nice or do something for him or oh, I don't know." She couldn't explain how she felt because she had never felt like it before. Tammy didn't answer for a while.
"Sometimes I'll bring him something if I'm getting one. Or if I see something I think he'll like I'll get it. Is that what you mean?" She asked.
"I guess but also not materialistically either." She tried to express it as much as possible.
"Are you trying to tell me you want to do something nice for Matty?" She filled in the gaps. Kat bit her lip.
"Maybe. I just want to show him that I'm like in it for the long haul you know?" She explained. Tammy nodded.
"Do you think he doesn't know?" She wondered.
"Well, I think him and George must talk about Angie a lot and she's problematic enough. I just don't want Matty thinking I'm like her. I want him to know that I know what I want from him." She expressed. Tammy grinned.
"Okay. I'm sure we can find something. I can call Ross and get his opinion." She suggested. Kat grinned.
"Okay. Let's find you an outfit and then deal with it." She nudged her back and they set off to the shops.
