ADD-ON TO OVERLOAD WEEK. I also posted the first chapter of a new Sanders Sides book, called 'A Home For Lost Boys'
And now comes the week of silence, see y'all next weekend
{Possible trigger warnings: some discussion of the k word and death, because Logan's talking about Disney Villains (whoa, what?! yeah), mention of stabbing and Slender Man (yes I'm talking about those girls)
If I miss something, I apologize and please let me know}

Improbable_Theorems uploaded: Research Reviews - The Logic Behind Disney's "Worst"
"As you all know, I have three roommates now. If there is anything they enjoy, it seems to be arguing. Two of them brought up this topic and I found it intriguing. I did some research and these are the conclusions I came to."

Logan: Greetings to you all and welcome to the newest installment in the Research Review series.
[Logan stands the center of the screen, in a black button down with a blue tie]
Logan: Before I begin, there is one thing I'd like to address. If you have followed my Twitter over the past month at all, you will know that I gained three roommates. All three are involved in YouTube, as I am.
[Two photos displayed on screen: One is a post from Roman's Instagram @Princey_MUA, the other is a screenshot from one of Patton's DadJokesINC Joke-Off videos]
Logan: The first of the three is a familiar face on YouTube, beauty vlogger and aspiring actor Princey_MUA. I'm sure many of you know his name, Roman Tulio. Living with the man is quite interesting.
[Logan gestures to the side that the Princey photo is on]
Logan: The second is Patton, the originator and producer of the channel DadJokesINC. While his brand and content are not exactly... up my alley? I believe that is the phrase... he is quite successful and a genuinely polite and nice person.
[Logan gestures to the side that the DadJokesINC screenshot is on, then the photos disappear]
Logan: The final of the three is a bit more interesting. After a long discussion of the situation he is in, I decided against even mentioning his channel name in my videos. He made the offer that I could address him by the nickname Ame.
[The photo displayed on screen: a screenshot from Patton's apartment tour video with a blurred out figure sitting on the couch]
Logan: Ame keeps his work life and his personal life completely separate. He believes that he has no connections from his work and every-day life to his channel, and he wants to keep it that way. We have made a deal to keep him out of our videos whenever possible, and if we cannot accomplish that we are to cover his face at the least.
[Three more photos displayed on screen with the first: more screenshots from Patton's tour, and one from Roman's vlog about moving in. Each has a blurred out figure in it]
Logan: I doubt I will have to deal with it, as I always record in the same place and have my set put up in a way where he couldn't wander through the back of it without realizing what was going on.
[Screen black. Logan speaks in voice-over]
Logan: Let's begin. The reason behind that explanation is simple. Ame and Roman had a thirty minute argument about Disney a few days ago.
[Slideshow of Disney characters onscreen]
Logan: The main point of the argument that Ame was making is that a lot of Disney villains are extremely misunderstood.
[Slideshow changes to focus on villains]
Logan: I found several of his arguments to be interesting and compelling, so I looked into it further. After some research, I found an article that put several situations portrayed in Disney movies into more legal terms.
[Article title displayed: 9 Legal Defense Arguments Your Favorite Disney Villains Could Make In Court by Laura Hohenstein]
Logan: The article is based off of a Reddit thread, and it seems that the author of the article simply compiled the information into one easy to read list. I will not be covering all of them, and I highly suggest you look up the article and read it. We begin with Ursula.
[Photo displayed on screen: Ursula with her eels, then Logan appears again]
Logan: There is no doubt that Ursula is a villain, her entire arc in the Little Mermaid movie is that she tricks Ariel into signing away her voice and then purposely uses it to try and make her fail.
[Photo montage of Ariel and Ursula's interactions on one side of the screen, Logan on the other]
Logan: While it is nefarious for her to undermine Ariel's attempts, the contract has no clause saying Ursula cannot interfere. It simply stated that she had to get Eric to fall in love with her without her voice. She failed, and therefore she technically has no argument. Another user pointed out that we cannot guarantee that Ariel is a minor by Atlantican law either, so there is no way to use that argument.
[The photo displayed on screen: Ursula laughing]
Logan: Our next villain to take the stand is Scar, of the Lion King.
[The photo displayed on screen: Scar and the hyenas, then Logan reappears]
Logan: The case here for Scar is simple. There's no proof. Scar mourns Mufasa's death, then leads the nation left behind. His story is flawless in that regard, and it is merely that Simba overpowered him rather than argued the truth out of him.
[Simba and Scar battling on one side of the screen, Logan on the other]
Logan: In the eyes of a court, Simba is appearing after years to accuse his benevolent uncle of foul play. When said uncle suggests Simba enter rehabilitation to help him, he starts throwing wild accusations around. There is no proper case... of course we know the story from the movie, but the legal standpoint is incredibly hazy.
[The photo displayed on screen: The last shot of Be Prepared]
Logan: The next villain we look into is Captain Hook.
[The photo displayed on screen: Hook with a telescope, then Logan reappears]
Logan: I found this argument to be sort of amusing. To break it down to basics, the defense of the case is that Captain Hook suffers from PTSD after the crocodile mauling, and Peter Pan's taunting caused a mental break.
[Montage of Hook, the crocodile, and Peter Pan on one side of the screen, Logan on the other]
Logan: He may have kidnapped several people and tried to kill them, but with the diagnosis of temporary insanity he is unfit to stand before a court. Worse crimes, such as the Slender Man Stabbing of Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2014, have been invalidated by this same argument.
[Photos disappear, Logan is center screen again]
Logan: The article will be in the description, again I suggest that you go read it.
[Black screen, annotations for suggested videos appear. Outro plays, quiet piano music]

{The article is real and by the name I cited here, definitely go read it. It's pretty hilarious
Also Logan's channel name is a pretty obvious nod towards the lovely
AND. I lived 20 minutes away from the place the Slender Man stabbing happened. Like, I lived in Milwaukee for YEARS, we talked about the whole thing in one of my classes in high school}
