At Hage Village...
At Hage village lay our favorite (h/c) haired boy, sleeping amazingly upon the lap of our pink haired companion, a habit he'd developed over the time the two had gotten to know each other. Being bound by literal life to a person does weird things to ya.
Anyway, (Y/N) was having pleasant dreams as he slept on the lap of Alice, of whom was reading a book whilst her companion slept. A small smile graced her face as she looked down towards (Y/N). It hadn't been long since she'd been forcefully bound to his life, but she didn't mind it as much as she initially did. The girl currently sat upon a hill with a single tree upon it, the afternoon sun giving an orange haze over the terrain, however the tree has shielded both Alice and (Y/N) from the sun's rays. Overall, it was an delightful day. And (Y/N) was having similarly delightful dreams. Well, if you call a burning town with a rampant demon within it delightful.
Within this dream, (Y/N) was a bystander as he could see a town, he wasn't sure the name of the town by just looks alone, being set ablaze due to the massive demon running rampart within its proximity.
The demon was, as said before, absolutely massive. Three eyes and four arms decorated this demon's body, it's eyes shining with a maniacal glint as it opened its mouth, high amounts of concentrated Mana gathering within. Within just a few seconds, a thundering beam of magic energy was shot towards nearby buildings as dust kicked up from the explosions, and (Y/N) found he couldn't do anything to impact the surrounding view.
"A vision? No, a dream perhaps?" Yes, a dream. That had to be it, nothing else was this vivid. He could hear screams left and right, but suddenly as all hope seemed to have left the villagers, a single mage took up the fight. Standing within one of the higher buildings, a lone mage stood face to face with the demon, and suddenly (Y/N) found himself floating high above in the sky.
"FUUUU- oh wait, I'm not falling?" The boy began to curse, but then ended up confused. He was clearly high up, seriously the buildings began to seem small. Regardless, he has a front row seat to this battle, he wouldn't complain.
Now you see, most people would panic when they saw this scene, but (Y/N) was simply amused. Ever since the first awakening of his Nephilim side, (Y/N)'s demeanor seemed to have changed from a reserved person to an outgoing one, and as his power grew, he'd begun to gain a fondness for battling. It was indescribable, but fights brought him intense joy.
So how could he not be ecstatic to watch such a fight in the best possible viewing spot. Of course, he was a bit worried as to why he was seeing his scene, but why sweat the small details?
The battle raged on between a brown haired boy wearing a cape and the massive demon, where the surrounding areas were all torn to shred by the sharp winds and flames currently devouring anything they touched.
After a bit of back and forth spellcasting, the brown haired boy seemed to phase all around the three-eyed demon, giant golden swords made of mana being stabbed into the ground around the demon, but it didn't pay them any particular mind.
The human boy once more casted another set of the giant golden mana blades around the demon, encasing it in a restrictive mana field of course.
This had shocked (Y/N) slightly, the mana radiating off the Demon was both rampant and immense, and yet this simply ring of golden mana had managed to suppress its power within. Just how powerful was this guy?!
Suddenly, the brown haired boy stopped in front of the bound demon as he raised his hands upwards, a golden glow appearing within them as a magic sword began to materialize and pierce through the clouds. The size of the sword was simply insane, being at the very least twice as big as the previous Sealing Swords. Yet, as the golden blade seemed to approach the Demons body, all time came to a stop, except for the boy and the demon, of which had simultaneously shifted their gazes to the distant (Y/N).
"And now I'm being seen by strange visions...this nap just keeps getting better and better..." (Y/N) grimaced as he noticed a giant golden blade soar towards him, barely moving out of its range in time as the boy grunted slightly.
"Alright me! Time to wake up!" The boy screamed slightly as the demonic figure extended one of its - no longer bound - arms and began gathering mana within it.
"Anyday now me...anyday..." Despite seeming comical on the outside, worry began to manifest within (Y/N) as he noticed yet another golden sword manifest above the brown haired boy and the mana surrounding the demon run berserk, and this made (Y/N)'s blood run cold.
Before he could even react, the massive golden sword accompanied by a savage beam of ice energy appearing mere meters away from his position, and this jolted (Y/N) awake...slamming his face directly into the book of which Alice had been reading, a small thud resounding.
"...Ouch?" Alice commented helplessly as the (h/c) haired boy seemed annoyed at her, to which she only responded by smiling cheekily.
"Honestly, how many times is it now that I've awoken to getting hit by a book you've been reading..." (Y/N) complained with a pout as he stared at the pink haired girls' similarly pink eyes. Sighing, Alice rubbed her hair as she looked at the boy in front of her again.
"Y'know, it's only been like 2 weeks since I began letting you sleep on my lap, it can't be that many times."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Ok, so maybe it's been quite a bit, but I can't be blamed for that! I need something to do while I wait for you to wake up, since you just seem to love sleeping on me..." Alice commented teasingly as the (h/c) haired boy rolled his eyes.
"Dream on." (Y/N) commented absentmindedly as he stood up, Alice following suit after him. Beginning to walk away, (Y/N) let Alice catch up beside him as he put his hands in his pockets, with the boy wearing a simple outfit consisting of a white t-shirt and baggy pants, simple black shoes being his choice of footwear. Alice herself had toned down the pink, although not by much, as she wore a lilac blouse alongside her trademark pink skirt. White boots with pink trimmings were also her desired choice of footwear.
Over the time that the two had begun to get to know each other, they'd grown a lot closer. And I mean a lot, if it weren't for the curse being proven as (Y/N) had tripped while giving chase to the still in denial Alice, and causing her slight pain by doing so, she would've long since left at that time. But by now, she hadn't minded the boy's company at all. In fact, she secretly cherished it. But don't tell her I said that, she'd kill me~.
With the Magic Knights Exam coming up at the Capital within the next six months, (Y/N) and Alice hadn't slacked off on training. While (Y/N) didn't seem particularly interested in the title of Wizard King, he decided to also participate within the little group of four that they had going on at the Church. Speaking of, since (Y/N) had become bound to Alice, she'd been a frequent visitor at the Church, however she was welcomed with open arms. At first, Asta was delighted to have another member in the Church, Yuno and Alice seemed to have a little enmity at first, but now they can at least tolerate the other. As for Sister Lily, she very much liked Alice. Plus, having another talented mage within the ranks of the Church was a big help to the everyday life of the kids there. Of course, the Hellian family of nobles had been aware of her frequent visits. However, they didn't interfere with her life, in fact the Lord of House Hellian sometimes even came to visit himself. (Y/N) found the man to be very likeable, especially since he didn't believe in the whole divide between Noble's and Commoners, luckily no one within the Hellian family did. This made it very easy for (Y/N) to get along with the entire family.
"So, what do you think the magic captains are like?" (Y/N) asked Alice casually, seeing as the two were walking in silence.
"Hmm, I've heard the Captain of the Black Bulls is unruly at best, oh! The Captain of the Blue Rose Knights is so beautiful! She was voted second most beautiful girl in the Magus' Weekly magazine!" Alice slightly fangirled as she thought about Charlotte Roselei, Captain of the Blue Rose Knights. Her attitude wasn't unique however, many similarly young girls shared the same passion to one day meet, and maybe even become a disciple of the Blue Rose Captain. Her beauty was only matched by her strength in battle.
"Oh! And how could I forget Lady Rin of the Midnight Jaguars! I've heard she ranked first within the rankings of Magus' Weekly in terms of beauty. Though I guess such is expected from the Captain of the Midnight Jaguars." Alice sighed dreamily as (Y/N) next to her snickered. In truth, it wasn't anything to laugh at. Holding both absolute beauty and power, such a person was Rin Evellen, Captain of the Midnight Jaguars Magic Knights.
"You seem really happy, finally sinking in that we'll be Magic Knights soon?" (Y/N) questioned as he smiled warmly at his companion. Said girl nodded her head gleefully, it seemed like so long ago that she had gotten her Grimoire, and since that little episode...not to mention since her life had become intertwined with the boy's next to her.
After a bit more walking and chatter, (Y/N) and Alice split ways as Alice went towards her family Manor and (Y/N) towards the Church. When he arrived at the Church, (Y/N) came to the scene of Sister Lily reading the kids of the Church a story, however all the kids were asleep as Sister Lily lightly closed the book, turning her gaze towards the newly arrived (Y/N).
"Oh, (Y/N), I didn't know you were back yet." Lily commented happily, a smile on her face as she gazed at the boy of whom she'd watched grow up from a child into a respectable young man.
"Yeah, split with Alice a bit earlier today, said she had something to do with her family today so." The (h/c) haired boy shrugged as he looked around, but he couldn't find any trace of either a messy mop of black hair, nor ash-blonde hair.
"Where are Asta and Yuno? Have they still not come back?" Asta and Yuno weregone from the Church around this time, Asta taking up his time with physical body training and Yuno with magical training, both determinedly fighting to gain an advantage in the race to become the Wizard King.
"You know those two, they're really stubborn. They're still training in their own areas, though I think Yuno should probably slow down on the amount of wood he's cutting for us while training..." Lily sweatdropped as a crash was heard outside, followed by a shout of "I'm ok!" from Father Orsi.
"Alright, well I'll be on my way then. I'll be back soon, it's about time I begin my own training." The (e/c) eyed boy waved behind him as he began to exit the Church, not missing Lily's shout to not be late for dinner.
Le Skippo of Le Time
The day had finally arrived! It was finally time to set out on the journey towards the Royal Capital of the Clover Kingdom, and excitement was felt everywhere throughout Hage Village.
How could they not be excited?! Two four-leaf Clover mages has originated from their small town! A parade was even thrown to celebrate the day. It was merry all around.
Walking around, (Y/N) and Alice walked side by side while wearing cloaks, though no one found this weird. It wasn't all that strange to see cloaked individuals walk on the streets.
Currently, the two were headed to a shop to acquire new clothes, provided by the Hellian family. Since (Y/N) had grown so close to Alice, Lord Hellian had seemed to begin thinking of (Y/N) as his son-in-law, something that caused both (Y/N) and Alice some embarrassment, but overall it wasn't anything too major.
Entering a small Tailoring shop named Magia Threads, the two soon-to-be Magic Knights took off their cloaks within the empty shop, proceeding to browse through the articles of clothing within the shop, however nothing caught their attention until an employee walked up to the pair.
"Miss Hellian, Lord (Y/N), is there anything I can help you with?" The employee was slightly nervous when he approached these two, after all he was a mere commoner approaching a noble and her companion, though (Y/N) himself was decently well known within the town of Hage, especially since he helped the people around with daily tasks whenever he found the time, so the people were quite grateful for his presence.
"Um, do you accept custom orders here?" Alice asked after some pondering within her head, deciding that a custom outfit would serve much better than a premade, random one. Next to her, (Y/N) nodded though he wasn't paying much attention, rather focusing on his open Grimoire in front of him.
"Actually, we do Miss. Would you like to order one? We'll it done in ten minutes if you'd like!" The employee instantly brightened up as he smiled, giving the two customers a merry laugh.
After a few minutes of deciding how to tailor their outfits, (Y/N) and Alice held their new outfits in hand as they headed towards the changing rooms within the shop, the employee leading them towards that specific section cheerily.
"You should try yours on first, Alice." (Y/N) smirked as he eyed the pink haired girl, and she nodded as she walked inside the changing room for a few minutes. When she came out, she looked completely different, a completely new outfit fitting her form extremely well.

Seeing (Y/N)'s mouth slightly trail open, Alice couldn't help but laugh as she teased the boy.
"Like what you see~?" She commented with a smirk as (Y/N) nodded dumbly, causing the girl's composure to break as she blushed slightly.
"Well then, I guess it's my turn." (Y/N) slightly smiled as he walked into the training room, the employee of Magia Threads giving him a thumbs up as he walked in. After a minute or so of shuffling, the (h/c) haired boy came out looking completely different.

Seeing this, Alice slightly blushed once more as she laid eyes on (Y/N)'s vibrant (e/c) colored eyes, a strange feeling in her chest, but she shook her head as she smiled.
"That looks good on you, it really fits you!" The newly clothed girl commented as she complimented her life-bound companion.
"It really does, Lord (Y/N). It matches so well with your, well, everything!" Even the employee of Magia Threads had been awed as he stared at (Y/N). Throughout his entire history of working as an employee in Magia Threads, these were certainly the best outfits he'd created.
"Ah, and Lord (Y/N) and Lady Alice, I also engraved protection runes upon the clothing so it will provide some resistance against magic spells, so you can go all out in the fields out there without having to worry about your equipment failing!" The employee of the shop gave the pair a thumbs up as golden runes began to appear on the clothing they wore, though they quickly retreated into the clothing once more.
A few minutes later, Asta, Yuno, (Y/N) and Alice all set off as they headed towards the Capital of the Clover Kingdom, unaware of what challenges would face them in the near future. But one thought resonated within all of their minds, and one thought only.
"By the end of this journey...I'll be the Wizard King! No matter what!" Conviction burned in the eyes of the four soon-to-be Magic Knights.
Elsewhere...
If one travelled deep enough into the forest, they'd discover the corpse of a wild beast as a man holding a blade sat on it, another man leaning nearby on a tree with a spear by his side, a female sitting on a fallen log nearby as she read something within her Grimoire. If anyone were to notice, these young people exuded very powerful magic auras, and some of the surrounding animals even distanced themselves instinctively.
"It seems like (Y/N) has left Hage without us...should we be on our way as well?" The man wielding the spear said as he saw a group of four pass by a distant tree to his current location.
"Mhm..." A hymn came from the female of the group as her Grimoire closed and both she and the man wielding the spear focused on the man sitting on top of the corpse of the wild Tyrant Boar, though the man had his eyes closed.
The man upon the Boar opened his eyes as he gripped the handle on his sword, jumping off the boar as he began walking off, the corpse of the Boar being devoured by white flames as the group of three left the scene...Just who were they?

I have school tomorrow and I decide to do this instead...at least I have my priorities straight lol. Anyway, I'm seriously excited for this story, especially since in the next chapter begins the Magic Knights Entrance Exam, where the fun really begins. This is also where you start voting on your Harem, so I look forward to submissions. Go all out, I can't wait to find out who'll make the cut...
