Kai’s P.O.V.
We broke apart from each other because in need of air. If it was possible to kiss her forever, I would probably do that. She flashed me her cute eye-smile as we broke apart. She slipped her hands on my waist and hugged me tightly while I hugged the back of her slim torso in return. “I’m happy.” She whispered, as she buried her head on my chest.
“Owwww! How sweet!” Someone cooed a little far from Jaerim’s back.
I lifted up my head and there, I saw Sophie smiling so brightly with Kyungsoo beside her.
Jaerim pulled away from the hug to look for the person who cooed and she can’t help but to smile.
Sophie and Kyungsoo approached us.
“What are you doing here, Sophie?” I asked. To be honest, I still have this awkwardness around Sophie since we had something before and I was obviously and absolutely a damn heartbreaker to her.. so yeah..
“Oh, I just dropped by to see Kyungsoo.. and Jaerim, also.” She paused, slipping her words. She likes Kyungsoo hyung, I think. “Since it’s my last day today here in Korea.”
“Really? So, you’re going back to New York tomorrow?” I asked.
“Yeah. Dad told me to go back home.” She smiled. “Well, I was about to ask Jaerim to come with me and Kyungsoo but looks like she already has a company with her.” She wiggled her eyebrows, up and down. “So, I guess Kyungsoo and I will go ahead to the park. Okay? Okay. See you later, you lovebirds.” She smiled then dragged Kyungsoo with her.
Sophie’s P.O.V.
Now, Kyungsoo and I are walking our way towards the park.
“I’m glad, they’re okay now.” I smiled.
“How about you? Are you okay?” Kyungsoo asked, as he glanced at me.
“Of course! I’m really happy for the both of them.” I said.
“No, I meant.. You’re leaving tomorrow, right?” Kyungsoo asked in a low tone voice. Is he disappointed?
“Yes, I am.” I said. I stopped walking which made him stopped walking as well and faced him. “I’m going to miss you, guys.” I hugged Kyungsoo, instinctively.
I hugged him for a minute then, I just realize what I did and about to pull away but Kyungsoo stopped me, by hugging me back. “We’re going to miss you as well.” He said, making me smile. “Even it was quite a short time knowing you.. I’m glad I met someone like you.”
I slowly pulled away from him and looked at him in the eyes. “Me too. I’m glad I met you. Even if our first encounter wasn’t that good.. we managed to become good friends and I couldn’t be more happier.” I said, with my watery eyes. I really don’t want to go home. I want to stay here in Korea. With my friends, with Kyungsoo as long as possible.. If I could.
Kyungsoo smiled a little, finding it hard to smile at this kind of situation.“I want to know you better, Sophie. Can’t I stop you from leaving?” He pleaded as he looked at me.
“We still have today.” I said, trying to cheer him up. I like Kyungsoo, I really do. I don’t know when or where I started liking him but one thing I know is, I like him.
“A day isn’t enough to know everything about you, Sophie.” He said, dramatically. I gave him a quick peck on his right cheek and he was a little surprise to what I did.
“We’ll try. Don’t worry, Kyungsoo. I’ll be back here in Korea before you even know it.” I said, comforting him. I slipped my hands in his hands, but I didn’t intertwined our fingers. Just a regular holding hands and I smiled to him. He shot me his heart-shaped smile before holding my hands tightly as well, and we continued to walk.
Jaerim’s P.O.V.
After those two left, Kai and I got inside his car, saying that we’ll go the mall.
He fastened the seatbelt for me as soon as I sat on the passenger’s seat then kissed me on my cheek quickly before he fastened his seatbelt and started the car’s engine and drove.
All through the ride, I can’t help but to stare at his flawless face, thinking that he really do has this seductive and perverted face, but deep inside.. He’s just a bad-ass in love.
I smiled to what I thought and he noticed me smiling all by myself. “You’re smiling. Why?” He asked, glancing at me quickly then back to the road.
I shook my head, no and tilted my head to the side, keep staring and smiling at him.
He smirked mischieviously. “Stop staring and you’ll fall for me more.”
“Nah. No need ‘cause I’m already in love with you too much. Too much, I should say.” I said.
“Well, still. Stop staring at me because I might lose focus on the road and let go of this steering wheel just to kiss you!” He said, smiling.
Geez! He really knows what to say. Haha! I just giggled to what he said and waited until we reached the mall.

When we arrived at the mall, entering it, I felt Kai’s soft hands slipped in my hands and intertwined it.
“So, where should we go first, jagi? Do you want to eat first or do you want me to buy something for you first?” He asked, sweetly.
“What? There’s no need to buy something for me.” I said. I really feel uncomfortable with him buying some stuffs for me. I don’t know why. I feel shy. I don’t want to look like a gold digger or something.
“But— Okay, fine. Let’s just go eat first.” He didn’t continue what he was going to say first and just proceeded talking with another sentence.
We went inside a resto, where he told me, he go often when his alone. “You go here alone?” I asked, as he pulled the chair a little for me and I sat.
“Yes. I don’t have friends before, remember? And I had a long distance relationship with Sophie... So, I go here whenever I feel alone and lonely. The food here just cheer me up.” He smiled as he took his seat in front of me. “But now, I don’t have to go here alone. Now that I have you.”
I shook my head. “Oh my god, Kai! You’re just too good to woo any girls!” I said, rolling my eyes and slapping his cheek playfully but gentle with the menu list.
“Nope. I’m like this only to you!” He said, biting his lower lip. He took the menu list from my hands and asked. “Fine, I’ll order. What do you want to eat?”
“I’m pretty good with anything.”
He nodded and called the waiter. He ordered a small pizza good for two, two lasagna for the both of us, two chocolate shakes and one ice cream for couples.
The waiter left after taking our orders so as Kai and I wait for our food, he started a conversation.
“I’m going to spend the night again at your house, okay?” He said, with his chin on top of his palm while his elbow rested on the table.
“Again? Why?” I asked, merely surprise to what he said.
“You don’t want to?” He asked, calmly. “I feel lonely at the condo unit, you know.” He pouted.
“Ask permission to Kris oppa, first.” I said, smirking a little.
He chuckled slightly. “No need to, jagi. I know he’ll let me stay. He likes a bad-ass like me!” He said, proudly as he pointed his thumbs to himself.
I laughed. “Yeah, right! You two are just similar to each other.” I said.
“Right! But I’m your bad-ass.” He smirked, standing up from his seat, leaning in to kiss me but the waiter interrupted us.
“Sorry to interrupt, sir. Here’s your order.” He said, smiling teasingly.
“Yeah. Thanks. Great timing, bro.” Kai said sarcastically while I tried myself not to laugh.
After placing the food on our table, the waiter left.
“Finally!” He said in relief as he eyed the waiter, walking away. “So, where were we?” He asked, standing up again, leaning in to kiss me but to his surprise...
“Here, jagiya~” I said, as I took a slice of the pizza and stuffed it inside his mouth. “Chu~” I teased then laughed.
“Yor sho mirn, jagi.. (You’re so mean, jagi..)” He said, as he chewed the pizza inside his mouth.
“No, I’m not. You’re just so cute, that’s all.” I said, as I took a piece of tissue and wiped away the pizza sauce in Kai’s lips.
As he swallowed the pizza down to his esophagus and to his digestive system, he moved my hand away from his hand and began talking. “A tissue won’t clean my lips alone, you know. But with a kiss, it’ll be much better.” He said. Aigoooo! This dude, seriously! ≧ω≦
“Aish! You’re so corny, Kai!” I said, forcing myself not to blush.
After that silly conversation, we started eating the food we order until we finished it.
Kai’s P.O.V.
After I paid the bill, Jaerim and I got outside the resto.
“We should had just split the bill. I feel bad that you paid the bill alone.” She pouted as she folded her arms around her chest.
“Tsk. Silly, Jaerim.” I shook my head as I surrounded my hand around her waist. “It’s a date and guys are obliqued to pay for the bills, if not, their dignity as a man will go, poof!” I explained.
“Still, I feel bad.” She pouted even more, sticking her lower lip out.
“Shhh. Don’t.” I hushed. “Oh wait! Wait here, Jaerim. I’ll just go buy something.” I said, and she nodded her head. I run as fast as I could, entering a clothing boutique.
I’m going to buy her a red gown that will suit her. It’ll be my stepmom’s birthday the next day after tomorrow and she wants me and Jaerim to come even if Dad and I are still.. you know, in a conflict situation.
I looked for the perfect red gown for Jaerim and of course, with the help of the saleslady. I picked the gown quickly and paid it. I don’t want Jaerim to wait longer there. The saleslady put the gown on a paperbag and handed it to me.
I exited the clothing boutique and went running to where I left Jaerim.
And right! She was still there waiting for me impatiently. I’ll just give her this gown later.
“Sorry.” I apologized shortly.
She didn’t ask why or where did I go and what was the paperbag, I’m holding on my left hand and said the words “It’s okay.” and she just held my free hand with her smooth little hand.

We arrived at the parking lot, as we are about to go home. I placed the paperbag at the backseat of the car and opened the door for Jaerim in the passenger’s seat while I got inside, after.
I glanced at her and saw her smirking again. I started the engine then said. “Your smiling again.”
“Well, this is just a splendid day! Our first date is so fantastic! You’re so cute! I’m just really happy today.” She said, not pausing.
“Glad you had fun with me.” I lean in, kissing her forehead after I fastened her seatbelt again. “I also had fun with you. A lot of fun!” I said, and she smiled again.
I started driving, out of the parking lot when a familiar girl crossed which made me merely bumped into her.
The girl looked at us in horror and indeed surprised. “Min-ah?” Jaerim whispered but I managed to hear her words. I looked at Jaerim and saw her biting her slightly trembling lips. I looked at Min-ah outside, and she was staring at us in an unreadable facial expression on her face. I glanced back to Jaerim and held her hands. “She won’t harm you, jagiya. She won’t.”
