The dance floor was filled with couples dancing on a romantic number. While few guests were meeting and congratulating the star couple on the stage. Raglak were also on the stage and few guests were having food. Nandini and manik's friends got along quite well.
The song changed to a punjabi dance number - kudi gujrat di from sweetie weds NRI. Laksh pulled Ragini to the dance floor. Both were happily dancing. They were doing bhangra in full josh complimenting each other over every step.
Manik - (slowly so only nandini could hear) don't you think they compliment each other well
Nandini - who? (Confused)
Manik - arre ragini and laksh
Nandini - ragini and laksh? Ek dusre ko compliment? (Shocked)
Manik - haa just look at them.... Kitne khush lagg rahe hai ek dusre ke saath
Indicating them through his eyes. Raglak were laughing to the fullest and dancing as if no one was seeing.
Nandini - manik aap na bilkul pagal ho gye ho?
Manik - arre dekho toh..... Socho agar yeh dono ki jodi ho jaaye toh sab kitna khush ho jaayenge
Nandini - aur woh kyu?
Manik -gharwaalo ko khushi hogi kyuki mom dad ko ragini bohat pasand hai and aunty uncle ko laksh toh woh log set ho gye ab aayi baari meri toh mujhe ek partner mil jaaega laksh se ladne ko aur usse pareshaan karne ko (he chuckled thinking about it #becharalaksh😂 while nandini glared him) and sab se zyaada faayda toh tumhe hi hai
Nandini looked on and he continued
Manik - dekho agar aisa kuch hua toh ragini bhi issi ghar mein aa jaaegi toh tumhe usse dur nahi rehna padega...
Nandini - woh toh hai par yeh possible nhi hai aur maanlo agar aisa kuch ho gya toh yeh ghar nhi boxing ring bn jaaega
Manik - wohi toh socho humara kitna entertainment hoga
Nandini gave him you are unbelievable look.
Manik - but on a serious note i seriously think ke ek din they will definitely fall for each other just like us

Their small conversation was broken by Raglak

Ragini - haaye mera favorite song.
Manik got up and forwarded his hand towards nandini but as soon as nandini was going to hold it he moved it in front of ragini smirking.
Manik - (to ragini) would u like to dance with me?
Ragini - (holding his hand) ofcourse i would love to....
Nandini made cute faces while manrag were having fun teasing her thats when laksh forwarded his hand to nandini just like manik
Laksh - would u like to dance with me?
Nandini - (smiling) yess... (Just like ragini) i would love to
MaNan and RagLak gave looks full of attitude to each other and moved to the dance floor. They danced perfectly with the music and enjoying each other's company ,they were talking,laughing and having fun together. Somewhere or the other they found best friends in each other.
The music stopped and everyone looked up to the dj curious to know why he stopped the music
Dj - so ladies and gentlemen don't you want to see a nice romantic dance of the couple of the hour
Everyone - yesss
Both manan gave a beautiful smile and they walked towards each other while rest all hooted and cheered for them.
They danced looking in each other's eyes. It was a slow song - Tu joh mila acoustic by aditi singh sharma
Ragini - waise tum dance acha kar lete ho
Laksh - kaash main bhi yeh bol paata
And he left smirking while ragini's jaw dtopped how cleverly he used her dialogue against her only.
Finally the function was coming towards the end. The guests started dispersing after having their dinner and meeting the couple and their family. Now only the kapoors and malhotras were left.
They were sitting at the dinning table and having dinner.
Nyonika - chalo yeh function toh ache se hogya
Swarna - ji bilkul.... Waise manik beta tum gaana toh kaafi acha gaate ho aur guitar bhi bohat ache se bja lete ho , sikha hai tumne?
Manik - (fake smile) ji aunty kuch aisa hi samajh lijiye
Raglak controlled hard to suppress their laughter afterall they knew the struggle behind the surprise
Nyonika - waise manik kab sikha tumne? maine kabhi nhi suna tumhe guitar bajate hue
And Raglak burst out laughing as they couldn't control more. The elders looked on for explanation while manik felt hell embarrassed as he knew whats next
Laksh - main btata hoon bhai ne kab sikha yeh.
Everyone looked on curiously but the most curious was Nandini
Manik - arre lucky (keeping hand over his shoulder with a fake smile) kya zarrorat hai yeh sab ki surprise khatam ho gya naa
Ragini - arre aise kaise jiju zaroorat hai, laksh tum bolo
Nandini - haa mujhe bhi jaan naa hai
And laksh started

Manik was thinking sitting at the balcony about Nandini's confession book which Ragini had told him about. Ragini told him that Since teenage Nandini had certain wishes and dreams regarding her future husband he was recollecting those wishes ,one of the wishes was that her future husband would know how to play guitar and sing though not professionally but little for her. He remembered that once in his 10th standard he had taken up some guitar classes. He didn't remember them so well as after that he hadn't touched it but somewhat he knew so he quickly searched for his guitar but he couldn't find it so he decided to purchase one. he went to the mall purchased a guitar from the musical instrument shop and quickly came back, arranged a teacher who world guide him and learnt the guitar once again in few hours after learning it the entire evening he practiced with Ragini and Laksh - Ragini was on phone and laksh was sitting there in his room totally frustrated as he had to again and again listen to his brother and give him feedback but his brother wanted to be perfect so he practice till 12 in the night and finally laksh had to scold him to sleep as the next day was the engagement so he needed to rest and thats how Manik Malhotra learned music.
Manik was embarrassed while rest all had a good laugh.
Laksh - but sacchi bhabhi bhai ne mere liye toh kabhi itni mehnat nhi ki
Nandini had turned complete red due to the blush
Manik - common guys tumlog bohat zyaada exaggerate kar rahe ho itna bhi kuch nhi tha
Ragini - jiju no lying. Maine 10 baar phone par aapka gaana suna tha aur 1000 baar aapke question kaa jawaab bhi diya tha ke haa jiju di ko yeh bohat acha lagega
Laksh - aur nhi toh kya
Nyonika - ek second tumlog mere bacche ko kyu pareshaan kar rahe ho acha hai naa woh nandini ke liye itna kuch kar raha hai
Laksh - kyuki aapke iss pyaare bete ne humme kl pareshaan kar rakha tha toh ab humari baari and raglak hi fived.
Swarna - bas bhi karo ab tum dono.
Mere bete ko mat pareshaan karo.
Manik smiled with full attitude
Ragini - haww maa party change
Nyonika - haa toh hum hai naa apni betiyoon ke team mein
Laksh - toh meri team mein kaun hai (sadly)
Swarna - arre tum tension mat lo tumhari team mein main aur manikji hai naa
Raj - aap log ki aagya (permission) ho toh hum bhi kissiki team mein aajaye
Manish - haa warna hum akele rahe jaaenge
Ragini - Toh chun lo apni team
Manish - main toh bhai jaha meri boss rahegi wahi rahunga toh main swarna ke saath
Raj - haa main bhi kyunki boss ko humesha khush rakhna chahiye
And they had amazing time together - perfect family time

The kapoors had left by now. Manik was sleeping on nyonika's lap with a smile on his face.
Nyonika - (caressing his hair) aaj pta hai manik mujhe sunn ke bohot acha laga ke tumne nandini ke liye itna socha... Bta hai manik ek ladki apna ghar parivaar sab chodkar ek naye ghar ko apna bna leti hai toh......
Raj - (completing nyonika's line entering the room) toh tumhare farz hai ki tum bhi usse apna feel karao, usse yeh jatao ke yeh parivaar uska bhi utna hi hai jitna tumhara aur usse khush rakhne ki koshish karo aur saath saath uske saamne apni feelings express karke usse special feel karao (sitting beside nyonika)
Nyonika - aur mujhe bta hai mera beta yeh sab bina batae bhi kar lega kyuki woh bilkul apne dad par gya hai iss mamle mein.
Laksh - ohh (entering the room) toh humare dad romeo they.... Ohhhooo dad hum toh aapko amrish puri samajh rahe they par aap toh shahrukh khan nikle (sleeping beside manik on nyonika's lap)
Raj - acha ji amrish puri..... Beta tum nahi jaante romance kya hota hai (proudly) mujhse pucho
Nyonika - aap toh rehne dijiye kitne drame karte they mujhse puchiye woh din yaad hai jab main aapse gussa hogyi thi toh kya kiya aapne
Manik - (with lots of excitement) kya?
Raj - haa woh ab tumhe main kabse manna raha tha toh bhi tum nahi maan rahi thi toh main kya karta
Nyonika - yeh sidha college ke desk par chad gye aur apne aapko sholay ka dharmendra samajh ne lage..... Aur kitni nautanki ki ..... Desk par khade hokar bolte hai maine maaf nhi kiya toh suicide kar lenge
Raj felt a little embarrassed as manlak were laughing at him

Next day at night malhotras left for kapoor mansion for holika dehan celebrations. The pyre was in the ground type area at the backside of the mansion.
Everyone reached down except the girls. Finally nandini came down looking beautiful as always wearing a anarkali suit
and holding a plate full of colors she kept the plate aside and took blessings from elders. She then met laksh and finally manik. Manlak wore kurtas.
Manik - (only through lip movement) i missed you (making a sad face)
Nandini - (rolling her eyes at his drama and replied the same way) i didn't.
And she turned her face in attitude when he acted to have a pain in his heart. As soon as she turned her face she couldn't help but smile at his cute drama.
Amd ragini came down trying to wear her earings and continuously saying sorry as she was super late. Laksh stood there mesmerised. Today something was different in her or the change was from his side only. He came back to senses neglecting the changes. Ragini stood beside him and the ritual started.
Ragini - kya baat hai aaj itne shaant ho
Laksh - kuch nahi bas yunhi (not much attentive)
Ragini - ohhho sidha jawab without any sarcasm

Laksh - nahi hai bolana
Ragini - hai bolana

Ragini - bolona (poking him)
Laksh - (frustration level 100) woh kya hai naa main yeh soch kar pareshaan ho raha hoon ke sun ko roz kitna jaldi uthna padta hai nahi?
Sarcasm was quite evident from his tone which made ragini smile at her victory
Ragini - yeh hui naa merr laksh waali baat
and she left leaving him behind confused. God what this girl says and does only she knows. They all now took rounds around the pyre by spilling little little water. Couples were doing it together and singles alone.
Namdini held the container while manik stood behind her touching her elbow and walking. Both were smiling. The stick placed on top of the pyre was about to fall on nandini when manik saw it in time and pulled her behind and hugged her covering her so that incase the stick falls it will fall on him but luckily the stick fell just beside the lighted pyre. Everyone froze for a second. Manik broke the hug and said caressing her face
Manik - tum theek ho?
Nadini nodded her face releiving him. She then remembered how he saved her
Nandini - aap theek ho?
He too nodded his head
All the family members came to them eith fear evident on their faces.
Swarna - tumlog theek toh ho naa
Nyonika - kahi lagi toh nahi na
Raj - haa kuch hua nhi naa
Manish - bolo naa
Ragini - haa bolo naa
Laksh - haa theek toh ho naa
Manik - shannti!!!!! hum dono bhi theek hai
Nandini - aaplog itna pareshaan mat hoiye sab theek hai
Swarna - bhagwaan kaa shukr hai
