1 months later...
Ok so I ended up taking the shoes, sue me. But I'm not excepting anything else and I made that perfectly clear. William and I have been getting along pretty well with our arrangement work is work and home, is well amazing. We have established our little routine, I spend the weekend at his home one week and he does the same the other. This weekend I'll be free since he's out the country, we have spoken every night on the phone since he left except last night.
"what are you over there staring off in space smiling so hard about?"
I looked up to see Toyia examining me from across my office. We were going over some files for work and I guess I got kind of side track thinking about my boo.
"Nothing" I said looking back down at the papers on my desk
"No you over thinking bout William aren't you?"
"And if I am?" I said trying to hide a smile that was peaking through anyway
"tsk tsk tsk...he has your nose so wide open it doesnt make any sense your skin is glowing everything. I swear If you wasnt my friend I would be alittle envious right now" Toyia saiding grinning
I was about to make a smart reply but someone knocked on the door instead. "come in" I said wondering who it could be. I know I didnt have any appointments scheduled with the building about to shutdown in a hour and Chloe wouldnt dare come back after the little convasation at the gym she makes sure she keeps her distance. the door open interupting my thoughts and Tiffany stuck her head in.
"Heyyyy! girl!" Tiffany said opening the door up and walking in the office. I stood and met her halfway in the center of the room to give her a big hug
"What are you doing here?" I said excited to see her. I havent seen her since William and I was in Las Vegas but we talk all the time on the phone which was why I was so suprised to see her here when we just talked the other day and she didnt mention she was coming.
"I came by to suprise you.....who's this?" she said looking over at Toyia
"Oh im sorry Tiffany, this is my friend Toyia she works here as well" I said looking over at Toyia who stood to shake Tiffany's hand. Instead of excepting Toyia's hand she reached out and gave her a hug.
"Any friend of Lisa is a friend of mine" Tiffany said hugging her. Toyia looked over at me while being embraced in Tiffany's arms with an amused look. I just hunched my shoulder up as if to say "I dont know"
"So what are you girls getting into to start the weekend off" Tiffany asked the both of us after releasing Toyia
"Umm nothing much I really havent thought about it....any ideas" I asked looking at both Tiffany and Toyia
"we can start off by going to dinner because Im starving" Toyia said picking up all the scattered papers
"ok out to eat it is, do you have any place you wanted to go in particular Tiffany?" I asked
"Nope anywhere you choose is fine"
"Alright let me gather my things and we can be off" I said turning to walk back to my desk. I all of a sudden began to feel a rush of quiziness and ran to the garbage can next to my desk to empty my stomach. After I sat down in my chair trying to catch my breath Tiffany and Toyia both ran over to me asking questions a mile a minute.
"Oh my god are you ok"
"Do you need a Doctor"
I was still trying to get myself in check and couldnt really comprehend nothing they were trying to say. Once I was able to catch my breath and wipe my mouth off with a baby wipe I had in my desk draw I looked up to two worried faces.
"Im fine I think it was just something that upset my stomach" I said to the both of them
"are you sure" Tiffany asked
"Im sure" I said nodding my head
They both still looked unconvinced, and in all honesty I did feel fine.
"positive you guys" i said trying to give a reassuring smile
"ok well are you still up to eating or do you want to just go on home and rest or something" Toyia ask
"Yea maybe you should go home and take it easy" Tiffany said backing up Toyia
"no guys really I'm fine just let me take this trash can and clean it out in the bathroom and we can go on to dinner" I said packing my bags
After I finished up in the restroom And did another round of promising how fine I feel to Toyia and Tiffany, we left the office and headed to the elevator banks. As we passed the front desk laughing at a joke Toyia was telling us, the elevator dinged and a women dressed in a red fitted dress and black stiletto heels with the ever so noticeable red bottom stepped off walking like she was on a mission. The heir and confidence she had was like she was royalty or something. She had long black hair and a thin curvy shape like a victoria secret model. She walked by us without saying a word until she saw Tiffany.
"Tiffany ! How nice it is to see you here I haven't seen you in ages" she said with a sultry voice and smile
"Casandra.....what are you doing here" Tiffany replied with a smile that didn't really reach her eyes. Which was strange because Tiffany is always so bubbly and happy.
"Well I'm here to see William of course" she said in a matter of fact tone
"he's not here" Tiffany said in a cut way with an attitude, her smile was gone and she looked irritated, who ever this women was it was clear Tiffany was not feeling her
"well that's strange he didn't mention that on the phone last night when we talked" she said. At that statement my ears kind of perked up. Why would she be talking to William at night when he couldnt even call me and who was she to him.
"yea well he's not here what do you guys have to talk about anyway" Tiffany asked not looking the least bit happy
"Oh we just have some unfinished business to take care of....just tell him I stopped by will you dear...better yet I'll just call him myself" she said and turned on her heels to leave
Once she left me and Toyia both looked at each other with questioning looks on our face but didn't say nothing. We all decided to drive our own cars and meet up at the restaurant since it was across town.

"what can I get you ladies to drink" the waitress asked all of at the table
"I'll have a white wine" Tiffanny ordered
"and I'll have the same" Toyia
"and for mam" the waitress asked looking at me
"I'll just have a sprite" I said still wanting to make sure I settle my stomach real good before I put food on
Once the waitress left we began our conversation back up
"so I hear you have an accent Tiffany where did you get it from?" Toyia asked
"oh well that's easy I went to private school all my life out the country and picked up the accent growing up...even when I came back to the states it never seem to have left me" she replied
"oh wow that's interesting" Toyia commented
"not as much as you think honestly.....it was nice enough but as a child all you really wanted is to be with your parents" Tiffany said
"well I can understand that" Toyia stated
I really was halfway in the conversation and halfway somewhere else. I just couldn't stop thinking about the women we seen earlier in the office. Who was she? And what did she want with William. Was she the reason he didn't call me last night?
"So who was that lady back at the office there Tiffany" leave it up to Toyia to just ask a question right out. And since I really wanted to know the answer I was defiantly all ears I looked over at Tiffany and could see her happy mood had once again left with the mention of that woman
"oh that's Casandra" she said rolling her eyes "her and William used to date a couple of years ago I haven't seen her in over a year "
"she has the same accent as you?" Toyia pressed on
"yes we went to the same school all our life her and William met at my graduation but we have never been friends.....I can't stand her or her stuck up attitude " Tiffany said I guess I wasn't looking so happy by way this conversation was turning out
"oh Lisa you have nothing to worry about Casandra and William are over especially after he caught her cheating he can't stand her as much as i can" Tiffany said
"oh I'm not worried" I lied the truth was knowing that this Casandra and William use to date kind of bug me. Why is she coming around all of a sudden. And lord knows I can't compete with women like that.
"and speaking of William" Toyia cut in "what was all that throwing up about" Toyia asked looking across the table at me. Just then the waitress came and brought us our drink and left.
"what do you mean, I told you all I feel better" I said confused on why she would bring that up
"your pregnant aren't you" Toyia blurted out which caused me to almost spit my drink up
"oh my God your pregnant" Tiffany asked looking all excited "I'm going to me Auntie?"
"No No! I'm not pregnant....God No" I said busting Tiffanys balloon before it even gets blown up all the way
"well why are you throwing up out of no where then" Toyia interrogated on
"I don't know it could have been a bad bug or I could have ate something that didn't agree with me....but I'm not pregnant" I said
"how do you know" Tiffany asked interested
"I'm just not" I said trying to calculate when my last period was in my head to be more convincing
"but you and William are having sex Lisa there's a possibility" Toyia said
"yes but we used protection every single time" I said back. William was always careful of doing that
"there not always one hundred percent, are you on any type of birth control" Toyia asked
"no I'm not" I said really thinking about it now. It never really crossed my mind that something like that could happen we always used condoms. I just know I can't have a baby with a man I'm having an affair with and A man who doesn't love me. I can't afford a baby right now. God please don't let me pregnant.
