It's already past 12mn and my dearest brother's still not home? anyare naman ba dun? haaay, kaya ayaw kong pabayaan yung lalaking yun eh. >_<

I looked at my iPhone.
unregistered number..
international caller..
"Carlene!" I almost jumped out of the sofa when I heard him shouted my name..
"Jonas?"
"hi, hehe..sorry for scaring you..I could imagine your face.." tae, nakuha pang mambwisit!
"oh, napatawag ka? bigla bigla naman."
"your brother's not picking up my calls..diba he's staying with you?"
"y-yeah, pero wala pa nga sya eh..12:30 na."
"ah..ganun ba, don't worry too much."
"teka nga Jonas, may tinatago ba kayo sakin?"
"wala.."
"yung totoo?"
"wala nga..wala ba syang nasasabi sa'yo?"
"WALA! so ano nga.."
"ah sige, I need to cut this call..bye Carlene..next time ulit."
ugh, I can't believe that guy! he ended the call in that instant..I smell something fishy. >___<
I headed to a hall after the receiving area, the study area.
I pulled my brother's favorite book.
"The Art of War" related kay pareng Sun Tzu..kung nabasa niyo na yung book na ito..
I don't really get the book's content, but he love this..may military military tactics or what kasi ito, and di ko talaga sya magets..eh yung kapatid ko naman tuwang tuwa minsan iaapply pa raw niya kasi parang management or whatever..basta, Im talking nonsense na..haha. My brother even get a Chinese (the original version) book of this one.
As I was scanning through the pages, may nakaipit na picture.
it was a portrait of my brother hugging Patrice from the back.
I really didn't like Patrice even when they are still starting up..lets just say na malakas yung intuition ko na may mali talaga eh, kahit sang angulo ko tignan.
Diba kapag nag boyfriend or girlfriend ka na mahal mo, automatically you'll change to someone better.
And when I say Better..
opposite ang nangyari sa kapatid ko.
he became worse.
his grades were like big fucking F's..

he's an ace student since our childhood days, and he's even a scholar before sa University when he started out in college. Though alam ko na playboy yan, those things never get into his system when it comes to his studies. Aside from that he's been always a family man..close sya sa aming lahat lalo na kay Dad, he's been idolizing Dad eversince time immemorial and he's always saying that he wants to follow Dad's footsteps. Then suddenly this Patrice came into the perfect picture--and left everything ruined.
He doesn't like getting drunk and wasted afterwards until she came.
He has no vices until she came.
He's not a drug addict and never did tasted one until she came.
He never fought or answered back and has always been obedient to Dad until she came.
Everything..Everything is perfect and clear until she came.
I tore the picture. Shit happens, I know. But as long as I'm here, and able to do so..I'll protect him from her.
Then I heard someone pulled over. That must be him already. I hurriedly hid the pieces of the picture in my pocket then slid back the book to the shelf.
"hey, ate..bakit ikaw pa nagbukas ng pinto?" he looks so happy, and this is the first time he smiled like that after we took him to U.S.
"pinatulog ko na sina Manang, at yung ibang maids..why are you late? where have you been?" sunod sunod kong tanong sa kanya..trying to fish out some informations..
"saka ko nalang ikukwento ate..and my unit's ready na pala! I could move in anytime." he's referring to his new condo in Taguig, he moved out from the old one..we sold it, he had experienced enough para di na sya bumalik doon.
"aw..sabi ko naman dito ka nalang sa bahay eh! why do you still have to move in there?"
"you could visit me anytime, ate!"
"anlaki laki ng bahay natin tapos ako lang ang andito!" >_<
"sus, I thought you're already used to it since nung pinatapon niyo ko sa States." then he pouted at me? guilty tripping tong si gago..badtrip.
"tse..bahala ka nga..matutulog nalang ako..but anyways Mom will be home soon."
"oh..when? we should eat outside with Patrice."
*BOOM!
"pardon?"
"I said we should eat out with Patrice." he said smiling.
"itulog mo na yan." I said while wearing a poker face.
"ate, I don't like your reaction."
"good night, I had a long day."
"ate?" di ko na sya pinansin, then I hurriedly went up to my room.
asdfgfdsa lang..gonna eat out with that bitch? no thanks. mas pipiliin ko pang mag bungee jumping na matagal nang ipinipilit sa akin ni Kyle than eat with her.
OFFICE.
"hello?" I'm calling Max..
"Max!"
"Ma'am Carlene?"
"please go to my office now." itinaon ko talagang pupunta din sa office ngayon ang kapatid ko..kaya tinawag ko din itong si Maxine, hehe..match making skills where art thou?
five minutes after I ended up my call with Maxine my brother went knocking on my door.
"hey ate, you like Maki diba? with spicy beef yan! lets eat!" aww..my brother really loves me..he handed me a chopstick of course a pair for me and a pair for him, but before I devour on the food there came Maxine--and ooh, have I told you before, she never knocks in my door..she's used to that way.
"Ma'am C---" she stares at my brother..and my brother's looking at her like what--?
"oh, Max..just in time, my dear brother bought some Makis here..come here, lets eat." I smiled at her while tapping my hands on the empty seat beside me.
"ah--eh.."
"c'mon Max..I know you also like this!" yep, Maxine likes Maki with spicy beef..just like me, we share almost the same interests kaya naman sobrang gaan ng loob ko sa kanya.
"here." my brother handed her the chopsticks that were supposed to be his. and that really was surprising!
"I shall get back when the two of you are already done." akmang tatayo na siya pero I stopped him.
"hey, ikaw nag ayang kumain..sit still..lets all eat." using my nagtatampo-effect voice..hehehe.
"okay okay.." then he took again the seat. I smiled in victory.

"Ma'am Carlene?" Maxine stares at me..
"Maki's good right?" then she nodded while taking a huge bite.
"I called you because of the files you gave me yesterday.." de ang totoo niyan gusto ko lang kayong paglapitin ng brother ko. ^_____^
"ah, may mali po ba?"
"wala naman..and I want to treat you out for a dinner tonight because natapos mo agad yung report!" I smiled at her..
"ah..eh, di na po kailangan.." she shyly answered back.
"no..I insist..ano ka ba, lahat naman ng under sa department ko binibigyan ko ng reward kapag naaccomplish agad ang isang bagay perfectly diba.." I shot back..
"you know my rules dear..I won't take no for an answer." I added.
"o-okay po.."

then she continued eating..
"hey bro..care to join us for dinner later? bale treat ko narin sa'yo since dinalhan mo ko ng Maki for lunch!" ohhh please..please..pumayag ka!
"ayoko nga." ay badtrip..where's your convincing power Carlene??
"aw c'mon! you're moving out tapos simple dinner di mo pa ko mapagbigyan? don't worry, it's my treat!"
"nakakahiya sa inyong dalawa..kayo nalang." I know na ayaw talaga niyang pumayag..
"hay nako..sige na please, promise di na kita kukulitin ulit.." I raised my hand as a sign of promise..hahaha
"tsss--oo na nga.."

"I promised na sabay kaming pupunta pero ayun nga, nauna na ko..please isabay mo na sya."
"tsss--let her just take the cab." ay badtrip lang.
"hoy, napaka ungentleman lang ha..go fetch, and go with her. This is an order!" bossy much lang? hahaha
"tsss---oo na nga!" I could imagine his face na nakabusangot na..hahahaha!!

I was heading to my cubicle when a man stopped in front of me..

Just when I'm about to open the door, naunahan na niya ko..wow men..kanina lang parang gusto mo ng sabihin na wala akong kakwenta kwenta at ni hindi mo nga alam kung bakit account executive na ko eh.
He handed his keys to a guy standing next to a guard.
Then we went inside, we immediately saw Ms. Carlene giving some instructions to the waiter siguro.
"Oh hello, sorry Max..I was really excited with this dinner that I forgot na isasabay nga pala kita.." she said in an apologetic tone..
"okay lang po Ma'am.."
"oh, were outside the business vicinity dear..it must be ate." then she winked at me..
I could see in my peripheral vision how her brother changed the look on his face..parang confused na ewan?
"okay ate.." I smiled at her..
then dinner was served, we had a little chit chat..tapos sila namang magkapatid..minsan di ko kilala kung sino pinag uusapan nila..pero mostly ng topic ay umiikot sa mga events sa office.
*ring ring ring*
we all looked at our phone to check kung kanino yung nagriring..
"its mine." biglang sinabi ni ate Carlene..
"yes..hello?"
"oh shoot, I almost forgot about that!!"
"yes..yes..I'm really sorry.."
"of course I will, I'll be there in an hour.." ha? ano yan ate Carlene? iiwan mo kami dito?
then she looked at us..
"guys, I need to go..bridal shower ni Chelsea ngayon..I forgot all about it."
"di ka ba naiinggit sa mga kaibigan mo? pang ilang bridal shower na naattenda-an mo na yan." her brother shot back..ay grabe lang ha?
"tse, osha dearest bro..ikaw na maghatid kay Maxine sa bahay nila..its almost 9 narin kasi.." then she stood up at nakipagbeso beso sa amin..
"I'll text you later Max.." she whispered in my ear ng turn ko ng makipag beso beso sa kanya..
I just nodded at her..
and then she left..
eto nanaman ang walang kamatayang awkward moment ni Mr. Dreamguy..hayyyyy.. -_______-
"finish your food, tapos ihahatid na kita." I heard him saying habang mini-murder na ata niya yung steak..walang kasalanan ang steak kuya.. >_<
