The door opens heavy, my eyes land on the railings.
Black and sleek, coiling down the stairwell
I smell your perfume before I see you.
My smile moves to the corner of my eyes, my eyes move to the ceiling of the room.
And I see you smiling down at me.
Bits of wild curls, wispy from the heat in the evening.
Eyes shining gold from the sun in the room.
We scanter up the stairs until we reach the top.
We climb higher, and fall deeper.
The sun is setting, the world gets quieter.
Its just us and the sky now.
