I woke up wet. Literally wet. I opened my eyes and Keia is holding a bucket.
"What the fuck was that for?" I pushed back my hair.
I got up and my shirt's soaked, so is my boxers.
"Why are you here?"
"I told you i live here"
"No way. The owner said a girl checked-"
"She's my sister" she sighed and sat on my wet bed.
"I thought you were a thief" i rolled my eyes.
"Then i would've stolen all your stuff" she nodded.
"Sorry about...this" she pointed at the bucket.
"Just go" i said.
"Fine" she left the room.
god, she didn't need to pour me with water to wake me up, she could've just shook me.
I grabbed my towel and went outside to go and take a shower.
Keia's eating cereal by the kitchen counter. We kind of stared for a while but i turn around and walk in the bathroom.
"Hey Calu-woah" she stopped and looked away, cheeks burning red.
I was only wearing a towel that's why.
"What? We'll talk after i change" I said ruffling my hair with a towel and she nodded.
"Sorry about earlier again" she looked down.
"Its fine." I smiled and she smiled back.
"I'm Keia Clifford, 18 years old"
"Calum Hood. 19-wait, are you related with Michael?"
"Michael who?" I guess she's isn't.
"Nobody" she shrugged.
"Why'd you want a shared apartment?"
"My friends kicked me out, just for a month though, you?"
"Oh, i-i...." She hesitated.
"You don't need to tell me" i smiled.
"So....do go to college?"
"No, i work at a video store" she nodded. "This is so awkward" i added.
"Yeah,soo awkward"
We stared at each other for a while, slinging an arm around her shoulders.
"Do you want to make-out or something?"
"What? No, i barely even know you"
"So if i'll know you better, you'll make-out with me?" I lean closer, placing an arm around her shoulder.
"I-i.."
"Shhhh" i put a finger between her lips. "We can take it slow....just trust me" i whispered in her ear. Her eyes are closed, cheeks so red. I laughed and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"You sh-ould've se-en you-r fa-ce" i said between my laughters.
"Jerk" she slapped my arm and stood.
"Aww baby, you think i was serious?"
"Shut up" she walked to her door and slammed it.
"I have a funny roommate" i said to myself.

The video store's empty again. Nobody wants to buy CDs here anymore, but hey, at least a get to be paid just by sitting here.
Ashton's arranging the CDs again, even they're already arranged. This place's so lifeless.
"Hey, you want to grab dinner with us? Luke said he'll meet us at the shack" Luke and Michael work at the taco shack a block away.
"I'm not hungry" i frowned.
"Aww Cal, we're really sorry. You needed to" he patted my shoulder.
"Shut up" the front door opened. Holy shit, a customer.
"Is that a-"
"Customer, i know" i said.
"I'll assist her" he said. The girl was ignoring him, he scratched his nape. She pulled out a "bullet in a bible" CD and 'Let's cheers to this' album.
She scanned the CD at first then brought it over the counter.
"Calum?"
"Keia?" She removed her cap and her wavy hair fell just above her chest.
"Hey, you work here" she fixed her hair.
"Does it look like?" I tugged my shirt.
"Rude. I'm a customer" she chuckled.
"Ok ok." She paid the items and walk over the door.
"Oh hey Keia?" She turned.
"Yeah?"
"Nice picks." she smiled and walk out the door.
"Who was that?" Ashton asked.
"Keia" he furrowed his eyebrows.
"You're hooking up?" Ben said ,walking in.h
"No" i raised an eyebrow.
"Well i like her, she didn't even try flirting with you" Ashton said.
"Shut up" i nudge him.
"C'mon. Mike and Luke's waiting" i nodded and exchanged shift with Ben.
We just bought chinese take-outs and go home. I brought extra dumplings for Keia, if she likes.
"Dude can we hang out in your apartment?" Michael said
"No" they frowned.
"But why?" He whined.
"Cause you kicked me guys out" i pouted.
"Awww" they all said in unison.
"Cause' you my friend, are the smartest in our group. You found an apartment without any help of us" Luke said.
"Plus, you are very independent" Ash said. A few days ago they told me to be independent somehow, da fuck?
"Shut up. You guys just want to see the flat" They chuckled.

I hope Keia doesn't bother having three huge assholes in the flat.
"Just keep quiet my roommie doesn't know you're-"
"Holy shit this place is huge!" Michael. Fucking Michael. I hit him on the nape.
"Ow" he pushed me, making me bump my hip on the desk.
"I told you to keep quiet, stupid"
"Nice place you got here" ash said.
"I agree" Luke said.
"Well-" i smirked.
"HEY CAL WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!-oh hi" Keia walked in,holding my boxers.
"Hey" we all said.
"Hey you're the girl from the vid store earlier!" Ash said
"Oh hey Ashton right?" she said and he nodded.
"You and her?" Luke said.
"No we're not" she nodded.
"Ok but why is she here?" Michael said.
"She's my roommate" i rolled my eyes.
"Oh" they all said in unison.
"Ok so i opened the shower curtain and saw this, on the floor" she raised my boxers higher for me to see.
"Sorry" i snatched my boxers from her hands.
"Hi i'm Luke" he awkwardly waved
"Hi i'm Michael"
"I'm Keia, Keia Clifford"
"What?! I'm a Clifford too" Mike said.
"Oookay?"
"Maybe we're siblings or cousins perhaps" he held her shoulders, making her step away a little.
"I don't have any relatives" she look down.
"Oh, sorry" she nodded.
"So we're all just going to stand here or what?" Luke said. We're all standing by the front door.
"Nope" we all said popping the p.
We run to the couched and took out the take outs and gave the extra to Keia. I turned on the tv and flipped the channels.
"Big bang theory please?" Keia begged.
"Big bang what?" Ash said.
"I think she wants to bang" he snickered.
"MICHAEL!" We all shouted.
"What? She did said bang"
"Its a tv show, you idiots and NO." i said.
"YES cause i bought the fuckin tv now Big bang theory pleaseee?"
"Fine what ever bang that is" she clapped her hands.
It turns out this tv shows pretty hilarious. I didn't know nerds could be so damn funny, especially that 'you're in my spot' dude. Luke could understand what fuckin math they're talking to, which none of us could.
We're on the tenth episode right now and Keia fell asleep on my shoulder.
I noticed that she has bruises around her neck, i'm pretty sure they're mot hickeys.
i wonder what happened.
