Audrey rushed inside the room where the rest of the Bohemian Rhapsody cast was, her eyes scanning
the entirety of the room. It had been pretty easy to spot them, considering that they were still celebrating their win.
"Gwilym?" Audrey called out, reaching the crowd and causing a few people to cheer at her arrival.
"He's right over here," Joe called out, sitting down on a couch next to groggy Gwilym. "He's fine, just a little loopy."
"Thanks, Joe," Audrey told him before sitting down next to her partner, grabbing his hand to give him a sense of comfort. "And congrats," she said with a wink.
"Audrey! We won!" Gwilym celebrated, wincing due to the throbbing pain in his head. Again, he doesn't process alcohol very well.
"I know," she smiled, speaking softly. "And I'm proud of you," Audrey stated, giving Gwilym a kiss on the cheek.
"I still can't believe we fucking won," Ben boomed, grabbing Joe by the shoulders and shaking him slightly.
"Dude, don't shake me. I'm not a freaking snow globe," Joe snapped with a roll of his eyes, earning a few laughs.
Later on, the group moved on to the lounge were the after party was being held. Everybody was dancing, cheering, drinking, and celebrating. Gwilym was already feeling better, no more alcohol for him that night. When Rami arrived, all hell broke loose. He tackled the boys, just like he said he would. Everyone was having a great time.
"Hey," Audrey told Gwilym, "Im going to get something to drink. Want some more water?"
"Water would be nice," Gwilym replied, with the same smile that always reassured Audrey that everything was alright.
"Be right back."
Audrey walked over to the bar, her gaze falling upon several celebrities. Some stopped her to catch up or take pictures; she was used this kind of thing.
After talking with one of her celebrity friends, she started backing away and accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry," Audrey apologized as she turned around to see who she had bumped into. Who she saw was the last person she ever wanted to see, her jaw dropping a bit at the sight. Myra Martínez stood in a beautiful gown in front of her.
The ex.
"Well then. I didn't think that this would be the way we would end up meeting each other," Myra began, with a smile that showed no traces of the cruel things she had told her online several times before.
"I never thought that we would meet, to be quite honest with you."
"Hey, I really want to apologize to you," Myra said, with a sincere look on her face. Audrey was taken back by her comment, but listened anyways. "I was stupid and rude, I let some old feelings get the best of me. I'm sorry that I made you go through that and if I caused any troubles between you and Gwilym. Women should support each other, y'know? Not take each other down. None of you deserve that, I'm actually happy for you guys."
"That's very considerate of you," Audrey smiled warily. It felt awkward between the two, but she could tell that Myra was being honest. "It's okay. I accept your apology."
Myra let out a loud sigh in relief. "Oh thank goodness. Truce?"
"Truce."
"Great. See you around, Audrey," she beamed contently, going off in another direction with a satisfied look on her face.
Standing in the middle of a large crowd, Audrey turned around to face Gwilym talking excitedly with a group of people. He caught her gaze and gave her in return a warm smile. Audrey smiled in gratitude, finally relieved of any drama or stress.
Gwilym made her feel things in a way that nobody else ever had. He made her the center of his universe, treating her like a queen. She was so thankful for having him in her life.
That boy was hers and hers only.
