Dan Howell wasn't another one of those unfortunate teenagers who were severely bullied or had abusive parents.
In general,Dans life was decent.
But somewhere around 8th grade a small emotion began to grow in his mind.
A unsatisfied feeling.
Any time he would do something embarrassing or failed a simple test,the feeling would grow in his mind.
He would frown and push it away to the best of his ability.
But it grew worse over time.
He found himself staring at his reflection in distaste.
The few friends Dan had grew distant as he slowly shut them out.
