Soon enough, they were back at practice with a game every week. New year had came and went uneventfully.
Jungkook hung out with Taehyung a bit while they were still on break but they never talked about the kiss. There was nothing to be said. It was obvious that neither regretted it. However, Jungkook definitely noticed a change in their relationship. Before, he had always been so fascinated with what the older was saying, listening intently whereas now he felt himself begin to drift off when Taehyung spoke as he day dreamed about kissing him or even more.

His next big game was coming up and so he was being forced to train even harder than before as this was their first National game. He stayed late at the arena that night to practice more along with a couple of his teammates who seemed just as nervous as he did. Jungkook panted, he was so out of breath from going so full out in the drills that him and his teammates were doing.
"Guys, I'm going to take a break" Jungkook told them but it went generally unnoticed as they were all too concentrated.
He took his skates off, taking a moment to admire them as they were the ones Taehyung had got him, before slipping back into his normal shoes. He heard the door of the ice rink creak open behind him and he turned to see Taehyung peeking out of it. He smiled at him and waved which caused Taehyung to blush slightly. Taehyung waved him over and Jungkook, with his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, walked over to Taehyung.
"Hey Taehyung" Jungkook greeted.
"Hi, I must ask you a favour" Taehyung quickly remarked.
"Yeah sure, what is it?"
"Is there, uh, anyway I could stay at yours tonight?"
"Is everything okay?" Jungkook asked, concerned.
"Yeah, I just had an argument with my father and I don't feel comfortable at mine and Jin's away on a business trip in Daegu" Taehyung sighed, not looking Jungkook in the eye.
Jungkook smiled "I would be happy for you to stay over, are you ready now?"
Taehyung nodded.
"Okay, let me just go tell my teammates I'm leaving and get my stuff"
Taehyung smiled shyly at him and Jungkook practically ran back into the ice rink and grabbed his things shouting a farewell to his teammates.

He met Taehyung in the foyer of the arena.
"You coming?" Jungkook smiled at him as Taehyung got up to follow him.
Jungkook went to the bus stop to wait on the bus he usually got home while Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows at him.
"What are you doing?" Taehyung asked.
"Waiting on a bus" Jungkook replied, raising an eyebrow at Taehyung.
"Why?"
"Cause this is the way I go home"
Taehyung sighed and took Jungkook's hand, pulling him to the road where he quickly hailed a taxi and jumped in.
"Uh, Taehyung I didn't bring money for a taxi" Jungkook said awkwardly, hoping the taxi driver wouldn't hear and kick them out.
"It's okay, I have money" Taehyung smiled.

They sat in silence for the rest of the ride and Jungkook found it suffocating. His nervousness was increasing the closer they got to Jungkook's house. He was staying the night, Jungkook only had one bedroom and his sofa couldn't exactly be called a sofa with how mangled and broken it was. Then he had another thought. His room. It was a mess. His bed was unmade. Clothes were strewn all over the floor. The kitchen. Also a mess after his attempts at cooking. His apartment was far from luxurious and with Taehyung's background he was going to find it horrible.
He was interrupted from his whizzing thoughts by a light tap on his arm.
"Jungkook, we're here" Taehyung said softly.
"Oh, yeah" Jungkook gulped as he got out the car, he was sure he was sweating profusely but he tried not to pay attention to it.
"Are you okay? You look a bit ill" Taehyung looked at him concerned.
"I'm fine, I just need some water, that's all. Let's go" he said quickly and rushed into his apartment building, already climbing the stairs to his apartment.

When he got up to his apartment he quickly peeked round the door and saw the mess he had left in the morning. This is the time he wished there was some magical cleaning fairy or that his dreams about him actually cleaning up were real. He turned to Taehyung who was standing awkwardly behind him probably wondering why on Earth they were both awkwardly hovering around Jungkook's door.
"Can you give me a minute?" Jungkook asked.
"Uh, yeah?" Taehyung responded looking really confused.
Jungkook rushed into his apartment and tried to tidy as much as he could. He lit a few candles to try and get out any smell that might be lingering in his apartment. He shoved all the rubbish in a bag and the dirty clothes into a laundry hamper.

He quickly opened the door and looked out as Taehyung wasn't at the door. He looked down the corridor and saw him being cornered by his 40 year old, sleazy neighbour.
"Don't you want to come see my fish? It's massive" The man smirked as he continued to walk towards Taehyung. Jungkook sighed, this wasn't a isolated occasion that his neighbour would do this.
Taehyung looked creeped out beyond belief "um, no thank you"
"Aw come on it'll be fun" The man continued.
"Hey babe! Are you coming in?!" Jungkook called catching both of their attention. Taehyung looked relieved to see him.
"Oh yeah, I was just coming...um...babe" Taehyung said awkwardly, his cheeks going red as he rushed over to Jungkook. Jungkook smiled at him and ushered him into the house. He glared at his neighbour and then entered his house behind Taehyung.
Taehyung was looking around his house and that scared Jungkook slightly. He scratched the back of his neck "yeah, it's not much" he laughed awkwardly.
"I love it" Taehyung smiled "it's so cozy and homely"
Jungkook smiled "yeah? Well there's only one bedroom but don't worry I'll sleep in the floor and you can have the bed"
"Oh no, it's okay you're doing me the favour. You sleep in your bed I'll sleep on the sofa or something" Taehyung argued.
"Taehyung I swear, if you fall asleep anywhere other than that bed I will personally carry you to the bed"
Taehyung sighed "you're too nice"
Jungkook couldn't help but smile at him "wanna watch a movie or something?" Jungkook asked.
Taehyung nodded and Jungkook looked through his DVD collection.
"So what kind of movies do you like to watch?"
"What have you got?"
"Well I've got, the godfather, lord of the rings, the matrix, Harry Potter, wizard of oz. Stuff like that"
"Em, do you have the sound of music. That's my favourite movie" Taehyung asked.
"Uh yeah, I do" Jungkook said and brought out the DVD.
"We'll need to go into the room to watch it though. the TV is better in there"
Taehyung followed Jungkook into his small bedroom. Jungkook sat on his bed while Taehyung awkwardly hovered in the corner.
"You can sit down you know" Jungkook said and Taehyung perched on the edge of his bed.
Jungkook sighed and put on the movie. Taehyung seemed a lot more comfortable when the movie started. They watched through the entire movie watching Julie Andrews prance about and sing (I love the sound of music).

Jungkook got up and stretched after it had finished. He went and changed into his pyjamas which was some joggers and a loose t-shirt.
"Can I borrow some pyjamas. I didn't bring any with me"
Jungkook pulled out a jumper and some joggers for him as well and threw them over to him.
Taehyung thanked him and went to the bathroom to change.
He came back to, the jumper drowning him and Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at him.
"Right" Jungkook said getting up "make yourself comfortable and I'll see you in the morning"
Taehyung thanked him again and got into the bed "good night Jungkook"
"Good night"

Jungkook had trouble sleeping, even though he had a sleeping bag, the floor was so uncomfortable. He looked at his phone, it was 3 in the morning, he heard the door to his bedroom open.
Taehyung walked out and over to him, shaking him gently.
"Jungkook, I feel really bad. If you want we can just share the bed, we're both guys so it's not a big deal" Taehyung said, sounding more like he was trying to convince himself rather than Jungkook.
Jungkook agreed and got up, his back aching from the hard floor. It was sort of awkward following Taehyung into his bed but in his sleep deprived state he couldn't be bothered caring.
"Goodnight Taehyung" Jungkook whispered.
"Goodnight" Taehyung replied sleepily and soon they were both fast asleep.
I swear they will get together eventually. So this is the last update of this book for 2018. So I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope you all have an amazing 2019. This is updated quite early, it's currently 1:56am but that's because it's Taehyung's birthday!!! So I thought I would post a bit earlier.
