That afternoon when Jin and Namjoon picked them up from Hoseok's to take them home Jungkook was thinking about all the things little one had told him about herself. She crawled into the car and fought with the seatbelt for a moment before he reached over and clicked it for her, returning his attention to the window as soon as he was done. The car was quiet for a moment.
"So how was your day guys? Did you like meeting Taehyung and Hoseok little one?" Namjoon asked, turning to look into the back seat. She nodded, tucking her hands between her thighs.
"Yes, they were very nice," she said quietly. Namjoon frowned between the hybrids.
"You guys are so quiet today. You alright Kookie?" He asked.
"What? Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, distractedly.
They arrived home and after dinner Namjoon had to get some work done and Seokjin was cleaning the kitchen. Little one retreated to her bedroom and Jungkook wandered in that direction as well. She was just sitting in the middle of her bed looking bored when he walked by so he stopped, leaning against the door frame.
"Hello Jungkook," she said quietly, her big eyes taking him in. He chewed on his lip for a moment, glancing around the room.
"Can I come in?" He finally asked. She nodded, scooting up the bed to make plenty of room for him to sit. He sat cross legged facing her and they just looked at each other for a moment.
"I'm sorry you lived in that facility and people mated with you but didn't love you. I think mating is supposed to happen if you love someone," he said shyly.
"Thank you," she replied, blushing. "I'm sorry I was confused when Seokjin told us to play the other day," she murmured. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." He offered her a small smile, looking up to see her cheeks slightly pink. They sat together in awkward silence for a moment, Jungkook picking at the comforter.
"I - um - what's it like?" He asked, blushing hard and looking away quickly as soon as he had asked his question.
"What's what like?" She asked, blinking her big eyes at him curiously.
Jungkook was still blushing furiously, looking at his lap. He glanced up at her quickly. "Mating," he said, barely above a whisper.
"Oohh," she replied, frowning. "It mostly hurts. Sometimes more than others but..."
Jungkook tilted his head to the side, his bunny ears flopping over cutely. "I thought it was supposed to be good," he said.
She nodded. "I think...maybe it is but...it never was for me," she said sadly.
"Oh." Jungkook frowned into his lap again. The room fell quiet. "Um...little fox?"
"Yes Jungkook?"
"Should we - I mean, do you want to - I mean," he huffed, frowning in exasperation at himself. "Neither of us have ever kissed anyone so, I was just thinking maybe we should..."
"Oh - do you want to kiss each other?" She asked, her eyes sparking with interest.
Jungkook scooted foreword a bit. "Yeah! I mean...just to try it. And then, we'll both know what it's like and we can say we've had our first kiss." She nodded quickly, scooting toward him a little as well.
"Okay! I - I don't know what to do though," she mumbled, biting her lip nervously.
"I've seen it a lot on tv," he said, shoving down the nervousness he was feeling himself. He scooted forward until their knees were touching and began to lean in slowly. She swallowed and followed his lead, leaning in toward him. She cocked her head curiously as she watched the bunny pucker his lips slightly and close his eyes, letting his mouth connect gently with hers. She let her eyes flutter shut as well as Jungkook pressed his soft lips against hers.
They stayed frozen still like that for a moment before Jungkook pulled back, frowning slightly. "What did you think?" He asked. She shrugged. "Me too," he said, frowning.
"Let's try again," she said. He nodded and leaned back in, letting his lips brush hers again. This time Jungkook pressed a little more firmly and he felt her lips pressing back against his. He held the kiss a bit longer and began to move his lips against hers a little. It was nice. Her lips were soft and the funny smell she had when she had first arrived was fading and he didn't mind breathing through his nose as her lips shifted against his. She was returning the pressure of his kiss and he could hear her breathing and feel her heart beating and he felt so connected with her but then suddenly-
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Namjoon yelled from the doorway, making them quickly break apart, their heads snapping toward the door. Her ears twitched back at the volume of his voice and Jungkook's eyes flew open wide, a guilty look coming across his face as he scooted away from the fox.
Namjoon's eyes were huge and angry and both hybrids were frozen in fear as he stared at the bunny. Jungkook quickly scrambled off the bed and slipped past the man in the doorway, bounding down the hallway to his bedroom. Namjoon stormed after him.
The fox stayed frozen on her bed, her heart racing as she heard raised voices down the hall. She wasn't sure why oppa was angry, it was just a kiss. She climbed out of the bed and walked toward the bunny's room where Namjoon was lecturing him about her innocence and Jungkook was arguing that they had agreed on it and that she wasn't innocent anyway - but they both fell silent when she wrapped her little arms around Namjoon from behind.
"Don't fight," she said softly, her voice muffled as her face pressed into his broad back. "I'm sorry oppa. We won't do it again. Okay? Please don't be angry." Jungkook sniffled into the silence and Namjoon exhaled, relaxing in her hold. He unclenched his jaw and sighed, patting her hands that were squeezing him.
"We were just curious hyung," Jungkook said, rubbing one foot over the other shyly. Namjoon pried her hands off of himself and turned around to look down at her. She blinked innocently up at him and he couldn't help but smile a little at her.
"You're okay?" He asked her, patting her head gently. She pressed her ears into his hand happily.
"Yes oppa, I'm fine," she said, smiling.
"Alright," he said sighing again. He scooped her up over his shoulder, making her giggle and he turned to Jungkook. "No more kissing in this house, you hear me?" He said.
"Yes, oppa," "Yes, hyung," they chorused as he carried her out and to her room, bouncing her and making her giggle.
Jungkook sank onto his bed, frowning. He knew he shouldn't be thinking about it, but he had really liked how it felt to kiss little one. He wondered if it was the feeling of kissing in general - or if it was just the way it felt to kiss her.

Namjoon plopped little one on her bed. She giggled and scrambled under the covers, laying down and grinning up at him as he sat on the edge of the bed, smiling at her. He reached out and ruffled her ears and she closed her eyes, smiling into his touch.
"So why did you let Jungkook kiss you little one?" Namjoon asked her after a moment.
"We both hadn't had our first kisses before oppa, so we thought we should try it together for the first time," she said with a shrug, as if it was the most logical thing. Namjoon chewed on the inside of his cheek.
"You should only kiss people that you love little one," he said thoughtfully.
"Then...I want to kiss you, oppa," she said softly. He looked down at her in surprise, standing quickly from the bed.
"You what? No, not that kind of love. I mean...of course I love you but - you're my - no kissing! Goodnight little one," he said quickly before leaving. She frowned as he left and shut the door behind him, letting herself curl into a ball and sifting through everything that had happened for the day.
