I put my phone down and Wait, did Camila just really text me? Wow. For a sec I forgot she's THE Camila Cabello. I still can't believe this actually happened.. what the fuck?
She was so rude though. Never expected her to be this rude.
Wait a moment. Does this I have Camila's number? This is so weird having so much power. I can't tell anyone about this.
"Are you ok? Hello. I think she is in some kind of trance" Alex says, I zoom out of wherever I was. What are they doing here?
"What?" I ask not being able to think of a better question. "You screamed and when we came in you were deep in your phone, not even noticing we got in the room. Are you ok?" Rachel asks. Maya looks at me with confusion "I'm fine" I assure them. "Ok. Cool. Now can you just tell us what's going on?" Alex and asks. "Can you just let it go? I don't want to talk about it"
I turn my head on to the pillow and decide I should get some rest, even though it's only 6 p.m.
They leave the room when they understand I'm not going to say anything about all of this. I keep watching some more videos on youtube when I find myself falling asleep at a little over midnight.
In the morning the next day, I get off the bed so confused about what happened yesterday. Looking at my phone seeing it's almost 10 a.m. Trying not to over-think things I get out of the room to get ready before I eat my breakfast and walk to the shop for a nice cup of coffee and right after that I walk to class, I should try focusing on school for a change.
After this long day, I went to the shop for another coffee and then I went back to my room. How is it 7 p.m.?
I walk in the room, putting my stuff down, walking to the fridge to take out a water bottle when my phone vibrates.
What just happened? I'm confused.
Are we friend now, Camilla and I? This is so crazy. I walk over to take a bottle of water out from the fridge when I realize Alex Ben and Rachel are just watching TV. "Hi guys," I say "hey," Ben says. "Where's Maya?" I ask realizing this is the third time this week where I see Ben here and Maya is just gone. Things are still a bit awkward between Ben and Maya... so I don't blame her
"She left for class," Rachel says. "Oh.. ok," I say too quickly. I go sit next to them and I watch the movie with them...
Isn't it 7 p.m.?
"Jesus Lili why can't you fucking tell us what happened?! This is making me crazy" Alex shouts making me squeal like a little girl.
"Oh my god. Alex relax" I laugh half at her impatience and half at how I squealed...
Where the hell did that come from?
"Tell me. It's KILLING me" She begs.
I don't want to talk about it. I want to forget this ever happened. I want to forget about Shawn. I know I told him we should be friends... but I don't think I want that anymore. I really should try to move on
"What happened?" Ben asks, completely clueless about this whole situation. I don't think the girls told him yet.
"Guys, Nothing happened. Just leave me alone." I say exhausted. I get up and I go to bed. This bed has become my best friend in the past few days. I'm spending all my time.
Before I go on Instagram looking for things to do, I let my phone down, staring at the ceiling. I feel guilty for not going to visit my father again since he moved here recently. I saw John only once, and it was for coffee one morning before class. I wish I wasn't so selfish and that I would spend more time with them, but the truth is, I am selfish and I want to be left alone. At least for now.
I woke up the next day hoping I could just take the day off but I know I need to study. Before I get out bed I look at my phone, seeing it's 9:30 a.m. I groan. I want to go back to sleep. As I look at all the messages I got at night I see Shawn called me at 3 a.m. I'm just so tired of this. No way I'm calling him back. I need to get over him already. I can't keep on like this.
