"How are you?" Bryant asks rushing into the room.
Ski runs in right after.
"I'm fine," I say.
"Where is my little nephew?" Ski asks but then he turns and sees Jahseh.
"You knew?" He asks Jahseh surprised.
"She only told me yesterday when she was actually having the baby," he says disappointed.
I look over at Bryant and he's already holding the baby.
"What's his name?" He asks.
"I don't fucking knowwww!" I stress.
"Well thats a dumb name," he says making me glare at him in response.
"Kyng," Jahseh says making me look up at him.
"Kyng Jahseh Omari Onfroy," I finish.
"Sounds very royal," August comments.
"I like it though," I smile.
"Can you give him to me?" I ask Bryant.
He hands the baby to me and I take a good look at him.
"You look like a Kyng, my Kyng," I say.
"Hi little Kyng," Ski says.
The nurse walks in.
"Do you know what you want to name him?" She asks.
"Yes," she walks over with the birth certificate and gives me a pen.
I put the name Kyng Jahseh Omari Onfroy on the line. I sign my name but realize the father also has to sign.
"Do you want to sign as the father, you don't have to?" I ask hoping he actually wants to because the baby is going to need a father.
He gets up from the couch and grabs the pen and signs his name.
The nurse takes the certificate back and walks out.
Jahseh picks the baby up.
"You're gonna do something great, they won't be able to stop you," Jahseh says.
He kisses the baby's head making me smile. Cleo manages to take a picture of them without Jahseh knowing.
"Ms. Velasquez, you are free to go today, we just need you to sign a few forms and you can go," a nurse says walking in with papers in hand.
She gives me the paper and I sign a few things.
"You are free to leave," she says taking the papers when I'm done signing.
"Thank you," I say.
I go get dressed and I see Cleo with the baby when I get out of the bathroom.
"I'm gonna spoil you," she says laughing.
"Oh don't even try and be his favorite honey, he's gonna love Auntie Ski the most," Ski says acting like a girl.
"Alright I'm ready to go," I say grabbing my bag.
Everyone gets up and I put Kyng in his car seat.
"Let me help you," Jah says taking the baby.
"Thank you," I say.
We walk out and Jah puts the car seat in the car.
Dray gets in the car since he originally came with me but Jah stops me before I can open my door.
"I want to be there for him, not on some occasional type shit, I want to actually be there for him all the time. I want you to move in with me," he says leaving me shocked.
"Are you sure?" I ask not confident that's what he actually wants.
He nods.
"Ok, thank you," I say.
"I'll text you my new address," he says.
I nod and then get into my car.
Dray starts driving off and we reach home shortly.
He sends the address and I ask when he wants me to move in.
He says he already has everything I would need from home except clothes and baby stuff so I can move in today.
I get my things and have Dray drive me.
"You know, I think you shouldn't do this, you could just stay at your house and I could help you," Dray offers.
"Well what do you think is better for a baby, his mom's friends or his actual dad?" I ask.
"Whatever Rose," He says rolling his eyes.
"You can't be mad at me because I want my baby's father in his fucking life," I say getting mad.
"Well he kicked you out and made you leave before, why wouldn't he do it now with you and the baby?" He asks.
"Just fucking drive," I say.
We drive silently and the tension rises until we get there.
I immediately get out grabbing my stuff and the baby.
"Bye," I mutter to Dray.
I walk up to the house and am greeted immediately by Jah.
"Let me help you," he says and grabs the stuff out of my hands and lets me inside.
I hear Dray's car speed off as soon as I walk into the house.
"Let me show you around," he says.
We walk upstairs and he takes me into a blue room.
"This is the baby's nursery," he says.
I smile at the elephant painted on the wall.
"How do you already have a nursery?"I ask
"I had it painted yesterday when I was at the hospital. Here let me put him down," Jah says taking the baby.
He puts the baby in the crib and immediately the baby starts crying. Jah gets scared by the baby crying because he doesn't know what to do.
"Don't cry, you're ok," he whispers to the baby picking him back up.
Immediately when he has Kyng back in his arms Kyng stops crying.
"Let me show you your room," he says.
I follow him into a big room with a king size bed.
I follow him into a closet with my clothes I left at the other house already hung up.
We walk around to a few more rooms in the house but the entire time I just feel awkward.
"Can we talk?" I ask out of nowhere.
He nods confused and we sit down on a bed.
"I don't want everything to be awkward, I hate not knowing how to talk to you. I know everything's gonna be awkward because of before but I just don't want it to be," I say.
"If this is about the fight, everything's fine, I-"
"No it's not fine, I said some shit I would never even mean. I didn't wish we never had a relationship, I never felt like you were a burden. I always loved you and I still fucking do. I shouldn't have blamed you for the shit I blamed you for because you couldn't help it. And honestly the truth is I could barely live without you. Without you I just felt so alone and I just felt so guilty and broken after we fought and- and I'm just really sorry," I say spilling out my feelings.
"I know you didn't mean that shit but it still hurts. I love you still but almost everyday I was contemplating whether I should really live, whether I really have a life worth living without you. I was really hurt by the shit you said and you made me feel like everyone else always did but I can't help that I still fucking love you. We can be like we used to be but it's gonna take time-"
"But I don't want to wait, I don't have the fucking time to wait around wondering when I'm gonna have you again, you're like a fucking drug and I'm addicted and I don't know how to fucking function without you. I don't think you know how many times I contemplated killing myself over this shit. You weren't the only one hurt by that shit. I couldn't sleep for weeks on end because I thought you were gonna do something stupid but then I realized that you probably wouldn't cause I'm not something worth killing yourself over, I'm not something worth hurting over. I saw you with all those girls and I realized how worthless I am, I realized how easy it is to move on from me because there was never anything to move on from, I realized that I am worth nothing-"
Before I can complete my rant he grabs my face and kisses me.
"Don't you ever say you're worth nothing, don't tell me that every time I was hurting because of you I was hurting over nothing. All of those times you had your little boyfriends I was hurt and I was just waiting, waiting for you, not waiting for nothing. You aren't nothing to me, you are my everything and the most fucked up thing about that is that you don't even realize that and you would be dead in a second if you had the choice because you think it wouldn't leave me hurting, you think it wouldn't leave me feeling dead too," he says shocking me.
"So no, you don't have to wait because there was nothing to wait for because no matter who else comes into the picture, no matter what happens, no matter who's hurting, I will always be yours," he says.
I lean up and kiss him, it's a long kiss because we haven't felt each other's touch in so long.
"I, Rose Daniella Velasquez, belong to you, no matter what."
"I, Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, belong to you, no matter what."
