the elder male leaned against the younger's shoulder on the wooden park bench beneath the streetlights and park lanterns in peace, admiring each other's comforting presence.
the moonlight casted above them, shining their light on the flowerbeds a few feet away. the wind lightly blew towards jungkook, allowing him to take in the scent of those beautiful colored blossoms with a mix of his favorite home scent, taehyung.
jungkook softly giggled, swinging his feet back and forth while sitting on the bench. he felt giddy all of a sudden, causing him to shake, accidentally waking taehyung up.
"hm?" taehyung mumbled, lifting his head up, eyes barely opened.
"i'm happy." jungkook smiled, taking a hold of the elder's hand.
"your hand is so cold. here, take your jacket back." taehyung said in his raspy voice, already swinging the coat over the younger.
"let's go home." taehyung said, noticing his watch read past midnight.
"can i spend the night at yours?" jungkook asked, pulling on taehyung's arm.
taehyung's lips curved upwards, shy. "sure."
