Here I am sitting in Luke Hemmings car, driving to see Chris. I stared out the window playing with my necklace rapidly. Apparently Luke noticed and put his hand on my shoulder.
"It's okay. You'll be fine."
"I'm just nervous to see him. The doctor said he could go or wake up at any moment. I'm just scared he's going to die in my arms."
"If he does, I know it's going to happen the right way. Something good will come out of this. Don't worry Emily."
Just hearing Luke Hemmings say my name calmed me down. I looked out the window and saw an incoming hospital. I took in a deep breath. 'Here we go.' I said and stepped out of the car, slamming the door shut.
