After school Changbin basically had to hunt down Yukhei. He wasn't sure what the taller male did whilst at school, but he ended up finding him sitting under the bleachers outside.

"What the hell? I've been looking for you for a goddamn hour," Changbin said as soon as he locked eyes with him.

Yuhkei only shrugged and focused his eyes on the dirt in front of him. Changbin wondered what was going through his head in that moment, he wondered how many times he comes to sit here all alone.

"What are doing here?" Changbin asked him, sitting criss-cross in front of him.

It took a few moments for Yukhei to answer back but eventually he said, "thinking."

Changbin nodded, eyes traveling around the boy's face. He hadn't looked up from the ground, almost like he was trying to suppress his emotions. His eyes looked dull but not quite lifeless. Both boys hadn't said a word until Yuhkhei broke the silence.

"Is it better in Korea?"

Changbin rose his eyebrows in surprise. The question caught him off guard, and in all honesty he did know how to answer. Korea was much better than here...though it seemed here people were more understanding of social and cultural differences.

"Hmm," Changbin started, "I guess both places have their pros and cons. Like in Korea I like our food better, but they aren't as excepting of lgbtq and stuff as America is."

Yuhkei looked up from the ground and chuckled lightly, "I mean your life, not the countries."

Changbin muttered a small 'oh' and went back to thinking. In that case, Korea was by far a way better place. Korea had his mother, Felix, his job, and Jisung.

"Well, Korea is much better then."

Yuhkei nodded, "I feel horrible that your father is doing this. Maybe if I had just agreed to marry Mina he wouldn't have forced you over here."

"No, I'm glad I came. I got to meet my step brothers and some weird transfer students. Im making my mother proud by finishing my schooling. This is all for the greater good I think," Changbin shrugged.

Yuhkei's mouth fell slightly ajar. He seemed amazed by Changbin's statement. Suddenly Yuhkei reached into his back pocket and pulled out his phone.

"You need to get in contact with your mother," Yuhkei said tossing the device to Changbin, "but please don't let your father find out about this."

Changbin's heart yearned as soon as his fingertips came in contact with the phone. He new Yuhkei was risking everything by letting Changbin do this. If his father found out not only would Changbin get a beating, Yuhkei would get it worse. Though he was conflicted. He didn't know who to call, his lover or his mother?

Yuhkei noticed his hesitance and ushered him on, "go on, just call anyone so they know you're alive."

Changbin locked eye will the taller mail and said, "I'm scared."

In truth, he was. After a whole month of lack of communication we was terrified. What if he called Felix and all he got was 'who is Changbin?'. He wouldn't be able to live with himself knowing that Felix forgot about him.

"Why?" Yuhkei asked scooting closer to Changbin.

"What if he forgot about me?" Changbin questioned aloud and peered down at the cellphone.

Yuhkei cocked his head to the side "Who?"

Changbin pursed his lips and shook his head. A rush of adrenaline ran through his vain's as he quickly typed in the number. Disregarding Yuhkei's question, he brought the phone to his ear and listened to the rings. His heart was pounding out of his chest as he heard the third ring come around. Suddenly the call was declined and Changbin furrowed his eyebrows.

"What happened?" Yuhkei asked.

"The call was declined."

Yuhkei told him to try again so that was what Changbin did. By the fourth ring Changbin was tapping his finger on his knee in anticipation. The automated voice came through the phone stating it was declined again.

Determined, Changbin typed in the number once more. He brought it to his ear and waited. Each ring making his heart speed up more. He wasn't going to stop calling until the Australian boy answered. He new it was early in the morning over there, but he needed to call him now.

By the third ring,

"Why do you keep calling this number?!"

Changbin's heart stopped. The voice of his lover coming through the speaker. It doesn't matter if he sounded angry, he was so relieved to here him speak. As his voice echoed through Changbin's head, he almost forgot to answer.

"Felix?" He questioned, hearing the boy on the other end gasp.

"C-Changbin?"

That was when Changbin bursted out into tears.

"Oh my god Changbin what the hell?! You're okay right?! How could you fucking leave me for a whole month are you crazy?! You better have a reasonable explanation for this or I might just go nuts!!-"

He let Felix rant, a smile on his face. His tears were rolling down his cheeks though they were tears of pure joy. Yuhkei watched the scene unfold in front of him. He was confused, as he could hear the boy on the other line yelling.

"Well? Hello?"

Changbin chuckled and wiped his cheek with the back of his hand, "hey baby."

There was silence on the other end and then a quite sob, "I miss you so much." Felix cried.

"I miss you too..."

"Please tell me everything is okay.."

Changbin pauses, everything wasn't okay. In fact, without Felix nothing was ever okay anymore.

"It's not. I um..I want to explain everything to you but...it's kind of hard to put it into words."

"I've gone a month without hearing you speak so we need to make up for that. Get explaining," Felix demanded.

Changbin locked eyes with Yuhkei and let him know it would be a while. But Yuhkei didn't mind, he was happy that his step brother could finally get into contact with those he loved.

"Felix, just know before I tell you anything. I love you okay? You and only you."

"No L word, we discussed this!" Felix whined followed by a sniffle. He seemed to have calmed down, and the crying stopped on his end.

"I don't care, I want you to know I do love you," Changbin stated.

"Of course...I love you too."

With that, Changbin explained everything. From his abusive father, to the forced marriage, to his brother Yuhkei. He told Felix about how his phone was taken away and he wasn't aloud out of his room. He told him about how Yuhkei was supposed to guard him like a hawk and not let him on any device to get ahold of anyone.

When Changbin finished Felix only sighed. It seemed the boy was speechless. He hadn't had any idea about how Changbin's father treated people.

"Why would your mother willingly send you there? I mean she just doesn't seem like that kind of person," Felix finally asked.

Changbin shrugged though Felix could not see it, "she just wants what is best for me. She doesn't want me to be working so many jobs like her."

There was a silence and a bit of noise on Felix's end. There was another person talking and some mumbling from Felix that Changbin could quite make out. He only assumed it was Seungmin or someone of the sort.

"I'm skipping school today and I'm gonna visit your mother," Felix said

"Wait no, she doesn't know about us."

"Erm....about that. She does now?"

Changbin scoffed, "how come I'm only finding out about this now?"

"Oh don't start, I couldn't get ahold of you!"

Changbin flinched at his raised voice, "I know baby. I'm sorry."

"I hate when you do that," Felix said.

"What?"

"That. Call me baby because you know it'll calm me down."

Changbin chuckled, "I love you."

Felix wasted no time in answering this time and said, "I love you too."

Yuhkei told Changbin is was almost 4:30 and that they should head home before the devil father gets suspicious.

"Okay I got to go, or else I might get in big trouble," Changbin sighed, "tell Mom I love her."

"Okay...please call me again whenever you can. I'll let everyone know you're okay."

"Okay...."

"Bye...."

The line went dead and Changbin slowly took the phone away from his ear. After hanging up a sense of emptiness washed over Changbin.

He tossed the phone back to Yuhkei who caught it and then stood up.

"Let's get going," he gestured for Changbin to stand up as well.

Changbin nodded and followed in Yuhkei's foot steps. As they made their way off school property, Yuhkei hummed.

"So...you're gay?"

Changbin was yet again taken aback by Yuhkei's question.

"No!" Changbin said defensively, "I just...love a boy."

"Chill out there buddy, I didn't want to gets you all offended."

"Sorry..." Changbin muttered, "I don't have anything against gay people it's just that...i don't know. I don't look at other men the way I look at Felix."

"What about women?" Yuhkei asked curiously.

Changbin thought about it for a few seconds and nodded, "I'm not sure...Felix is just better."

"Cool," Yuhkei nodded, "I think your pan bro."

"Pan?" Changbin asked. He wasn't sure what that meant. Like a frying pan? He thought.

"Yeah, like Pansexual."

Changbin stopped walking and tilted his head in confusion, "I don't know what that is."

"You love people regardless of their gender identity."

Changbin furrowed his eyebrows. That could be true, he hasn't really felt an over whelming emotion for either gender until Felix came along.

"What about you?" Changbin asked.

"Oh I'm gay."

The two shared a laugh and started on their journey back to the hell hold they called home.

(A/N):

Honestly I'm surprised I was able to get this chapter out for today.

I've been bored and I'm procrastinating all my actual real life work that matters for my future. So I decided to update!

I'll probably work on an update for NOTES as well.

Also, it won't stop snowing and it's making me mad. Like as a Canadian I feel like I should be okay with the snow but in all honesty I fucking hate it.

The only thing good that come out of it are snow days. (For those who don't know it's when the snow is blocking people inside or the roads are shut down so the schools shut down as well)

It's honestly the best when that happens :)

It's currently -4°c right now so I'm loving that (not) and it's only gonna get colder from here. Yay.

Thank you for reading!
