Currently at the park.
Jisoo: Jen, you sure you don't want to come with us? You really want to just stay here? *looks worried*
Jennie: I'm sure. I won't stay here long, Chu. *smiles at Jisoo*
Jin: you can go with us. Have dinner with us, Jennie. I mean, you're a good friend. We just don't want you alone here. *worried at Jennie*
Jennie: thank you, Jin. But this night is supposed to be just you and Jisoo. Plus, it's your anniversary guys. Enjoy it. I promise, I'll text you when I come home. I won't stay here long. I'll be going home in a few. *smiles at the two of them*
Jisoo: okay. Just, text or call me once you're home okay? *hugs Jennie*
Jennie: better get going, guys. Enjoy your dinner date, Jin and Chu!
The two lovebirds bid their goodbye on Jennie and drives off to wherever they're going.
Jennie: it's just me. *smiles to herself*
She starts to walk around the park. Smiling brightly whenever she see some kids playing. She's still not alone tho. There are lots of people in the park. Kids, families and even couples which brings smile to her face.
She stops in one of the benches provided at the park and suddenly a dog comes to her.
Jennie: ooh. You're so cute! *caressing the dog's fur* Are you lost? Where is your owner huh, cutie doggie? *carries the dog with her*
Kid: there you go, puppy! *approaching her*
Jennie: is he yours?
Kid: *nods*
Jennie: alright. Here. *handing the dog back to his owner* Don't let him slip again or else you might lose him. *smiles at the kid*
Kid: noted. Thank you, Miss! *puts down the dog and starts to walk away waving at Jennie*
Jennie: *looks at her wrist watch* Too early. Gotta stay here a little bit.
She just stares at the sky. But the sky seems to be not in good mood. It's cloudy.
"Jennie?"
Jennie turns around.
Jennie: Li- Lisa?
Lisa: I knew it. I knew it was you. You know, I saw your back and I told to myself that you look so familiar. And I knew it! It's you, Jennie! *smiles brightly at Jennie* Can I sit here?
Jennie: ye-yeah. Su-uure. *nods*
Lisa: *sits beside Jennie* Are you alone? Who are you with? And why are you here? It's getting late. And look *stops and looks above* I think it's going to snow soon.
Jennie: Jisoo and Jin dropped me by here.
Lisa: really? Where are they? Oh my God, it's been so long. Are they now a thing or what? *smiling at Jennie*
Jennie: *looks away* they're now together. Finally. After Jin's hard work. They're now celebrating their 1st anniversary. They're having dinner date.
Lisa: really? Wow. Well, I already knew from the beginning that those two were gonna end up together. It just took them so long. *giggles*
Jennie: yeah, it's because it was never on Jisoo's list to have a boyfriend during those times. *smiles*
Lisa: how about you? *looks straight on Jennie's eyes*
Jennie: me?
Lisa: I mean, how are you? How have you been? *smiles at her*
Jennie: oooh yeah. Uhm, I'm good. I'm working now and running a firm with Jisoo and Jin.
Lisa: wow. Daebak! That's good to know.
*Suddenly becomes silent*
Lisa: are you on a date now? *suddenly ask* Are you dating or seeing someone?
Jennie: me? Ah n-
"YAH, LISA! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU AT THE CAR, YOU STUPID MONKEY! ARE YOU GONNA FOLLOW ME OR NOT?"
Lisa: *laughs* Wait up! *stands up* It's nice to see you here, Jennie. It's nice to see you. *lovingly smile at Jennie before walking out of her sight*
Jennie: no, Lisa. I'm not dating anyone right now. *smiles sadly* Because I'm still holding to what you've said to me years ago. I'm still waiting for you. *bitterly smile to herself* But I guess, you found someone new. *heart clutches*
Jennie and Lisa. They were sweethearts since Junior High School up to 3rd year College. Sadly, they got separated because they both wanted to study real hard. It's a mutual decision. They have both decided to just cut off their relationship because both of them wanted to achieve their dreams and goals in life.
But they promised to each other that when time comes and after they graduate in college and finds their dream jobs, they surely will get back together.
Unfortunately, years had passed and they never saw each other. The last time they saw each other was their graduation. That's where they made their promise to each other.
Jennie suddenly feels something hitting her. She looks above and snow starts to pour down. She smile at the sight. Snow. She really loves snow. It's her favorite amongst all season. Winter season.
But she feels weird. Earlier, she's feeling the snow hitting her shoulder and face. But now, it suddenly stops.
For the last time, she looks above and there goes her ex, holding up the umbrella so that Jennie couldn't feel the coldness. Knowing that Jennie is wearing an off-shoulder clothe.
Lisa: *smiles at Jennie*
Jennie: Li- Lisa.
Lisa: *still holding the umbrella* I know you love winter. But it's cold, Jennie. *smiles at her*
Jennie: Uhm, thank you. But I'm about to go already. *stands up and starts to walk away*
Lisa: yah! Wait up! Wait up! *runs and trail behind Jennie, still holding the umbrella above Jennie*
Jennie: what are you doing? *annoyed*
Lisa: uh, shielding you from the snow? *smiles awkwardly at her*
Jennie: you don't have to. *walks fast than Lisa*
Lisa: *still follows Jennie without putting down the umbrella*
Jennie: why are you following me? *slightly mad*
Lisa: because- uh- you're- you might get cold, Jennie. That's why. *nervous*
Jennie: don't mind me. Your girlfriend might be looking for you, Lisa. Go to her. She also might get cold. *says coldly*
Lisa: girlfriend? *giggle* Who? *walks beside Jennie with umbrella now on top of their heads*
Jennie didn't answer. She just continue to walk but Lisa is a bit stubborn. She walks just as fast as Jennie is walking.
Lisa: *goes in front of Jennie and both of them stops*
Jennie: Lisa! *shouts annoyingly*
Lisa: tell me first. Who are you referring as my girlfriend? The one who called me earlier? *smiling at Jennie* Well, she's nice and cute and-
Jennie: *pushes Lisa aside* I'm going home. *walks away*
Lisa: *shouts at Jennie* I DON'T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND, JENNIE! I DON'T!
Jennie: *suddenly stops from walking*
Lisa: *walks in front of Jennie and face her* I don't. That girl who called me? That's Chaeng. She's just my workmate, Jennie. I don't have a girlfriend. *looks straight into Jennie's eyes* How about you? Are you seeing someone? *holding the pain she's feeling inside*
Jennie: *looks at her and after a moment, she starts to walk past her again*
Lisa: what- wait up, Jennie Ruby Jane Kim-Manoban!!!!! *shouts on Jennie, who's back now facing her*
Jennie: *smiles secretly and turns around to face Lisa, right eyebrow raises* what do you want?
Lisa: *walks near her and stops when she's just inches away from Jennie* YOU.
Jennie: what?
Lisa: You. I want you. You asked me what do I want. You, Jennie. I want you back. *sincere*
Jennie: But I'm already seeing someone. *lies to Lisa*
Lisa: huh! You just can't, Jennie. We both promise to each other not to date someone. You promised. I promised. I don't believe you. *smirks at Jennie*
Jennie: but I'm already seeing someone, Lisa. I'm dating someone. *once again, lies at Lisa*
Lisa: fine. May the "best partner for you" wins. *smiles at her*
Jennie: good luck. *smiling at Lisa*
Lisa: yea. Good luck. Good luck to that person because I sure know I'll get you back. I'll get you back. *says sternly before smiling brightly at Jennie*
Jennie smiles at Lisa before walking away from her, for real.
Jennie: you already won, Lisa. You already won. *smiles to herself*
On the other hand......
Lisa: you're not good at lying, Jennie. You're still the Jennie Kim I know. I love you still, baby. And this time, I won't let you slip away again. I won't. *smiles to herself while watching Jennie from afar*JENNIE RUBY JANE KIM! I LOVE YOU AND I'LL GET YOU BACK, SOON-TO-BE MRS. MANOBAN! I'LL GET YOU BACK! *shouts at Jennie and giggle right after*
