Perhaps, Hinata liked you more than he should of. By no means was this an exaggeration of some poetic metaphor. It's because you weren't just some sort of a metaphysical beauty. No, you were more than that in his eyes, and it was only then did he realise it.
"I wasn't sure at first."
He murmurs, his voice as mellow as the honey dripping into your tea. It seems that the only person who could cause you to ignite a firestorm is him. Even the way your lines of sight intersecting with his grew intense, there was fire burning in the depths of his eyes. Hinata leans in and like wildfire, your cheeks burn in the flame of his eyes.
"But now I am."
Hinata moulds his lips against yours, fire dancing from the tip of each other's tongue. The kiss was without a doubt, painfully desperate. Like his lips had always been created from the heavens for you. Perhaps, that's why the sensation of his kiss still linger on your lips; the tingles of a wild flame growing alive. In some sort of an imagination, Hinata was a fuel to your fire.
And your fire burned for him.
