The first point goes to Fukurodani.
Bokuto was looking at the opponent team with his proud smile on.
"Yukari! Y/N!" We heard someone shouted. Probably Saki. The both of us turn to where the source is from and it is Saki as I thought.
"We're having practice over there." Saki said pointing the other court just next to the court where Fukurodani VS Karasuno is using.
"You guys can watch them while practicing." Saki dragging the both of us to the other court. All of them looked at us but focus back to the game when the whistle was blown.
"We're going to practice our receive first!" Our coach shouted.
"OSU!" All of us shouted as the coach started to service from the other side and us receiving it from the other side.
Second point goes to Karasuno. Their #/10 is so small but he can jump that high?!
"Y/N" My coach said. I quickly looked at my coach way with a confused face.
"Want me to hit your face with this ball? Where's your ready position and pay attention." My coach said.
"O-Osu!" I shouted and get into the ready position. My coach serviced the ball and I received it. Well the receive was a bit off.
"Practice your receive more!" My coach shouted from the other side. I just scratch my head and went to the back of the line.
After that, I was too focused on practicing and didn't even realize that the first set has finished. They're now taking a break.
25-20. Fukurodani won the first set.
I look at them and both team were looking at us practicing. I searched for Bokuto and saw him chatting with Akaashi. Probably bragging about him scoring a lot. Akaashi saw me and smirked at me.
I glared at him and focused on practice. We were having free practice right now.
Yuka is practicing her service since she's the pinch server, on the other side was our libero, Kagura. She's so tiny, cute and precious. She was practicing her receive with Yuka serving for her.
I look at them again and saw Bokuto was looking this way. We made eye contact then he suddenly shouted: "Y/N!! Did you saw me doing those amazing spikes during the match!!" Bokuto shouted.
I pretended not to know him because all eyes were on the two of us.
"Y/N!!! Y/N!!!" Bokuto calling for my name repeatedly. Suddenly, I saw his manager put her hands on Bokuto shoulder asking him to shut up.
Bokuto immediately shut his mouth up and I gave his manager a thumbs up holding back my laughter and his manager giving me a thumbs up back.
Someone patted my shoulder making me to jump a little bit. It was Saki.
The second sets started and he's back focusing on the game.
I look at Saki and asked: "Yes?". "Give me a toss, I want to practice my spiking skill." Saki said as she got ready.
I nodded and she pass the ball to me. The ball came to me and she started to run towards the net. I tossed the ball to her as she jumps and spiked it.
"Well I want to try out some quicks, can you do it for me?" She asked.
"Uh..I'm not sure, let's just try I guess?" I said unsure if I can do it.
She passed the ball to me again and quickly ran towards the net jumping. I tossed the ball towards Saki's palm as soon as I got the ball and she spiked it.
Me and Saki were screaming like crazy when we managed to do the quick hugging each other.
Our middle blocker, Mina, suddenly walk towards us. The both of me and Saki looked at her. She was standing on the other side of the net.
"Mind if I try to block one of your spikes?" Mina asked. Mina looks scary at first because of her height but she's actually very kind and soft.
But when it comes to blocking, her face looks very scary.
"Sure!" Saki said excitedly. Saki leaned closer to me and whispers: "We're doing that quick again."
I nodded as she pass the ball to me and ran towards the net jumping. I tossed the ball to her palm as soon as I got the ball but she spiked to early and she just spiked the air.
"AH!! I spiked too early!" Saki shouted out of frustrations. Mina laughed a bit saying: "It's okay let's practice more."
"Yeah! Let's do one more!" I said. I heard the whistle was blown meaning that the second set was over.
The score was 26-24. Fukurodani won both sets and now Bokuto's jumping around as if he won the national tournament. Akaashi looked so calm as always even though they've won.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! before you guys leave, why don't you guys practice more with us?" Bokuto shouted to the Karasuno team.
There was silence and Bokuto started to get embarrass cause' like nobody answers him.
"Sure." Their #/1 accepted Bokuto's offer as they started to put their bags back on the floor.
"Y/N, we're doing the quicks once again." Saki said trying to get my attention. I quickly turned my head towards them nodding.
Saki passed me the ball and ran towards the net jumping. I tossed to ball towards her palm as soon as I got the ball. This time, she managed to spiked it.
Mina jumped trying to block our quicks and managed to one-touch it.
Mina gave Saki a smirk teasing her. Saki sulked a little bit but then she said: "Nice one-touch."
Mina smiled and went over the net to hug her. Saki's feet barely touched the floor since she's so tall.
Mina is 180 cm and Saki is 168 cm. So much difference. Oh yeah I'm 158 cm.
I smiled at them.
"May I join?" Someone asked us from behind. They were from the opponent's team, Karasuno High.
"Sure." Saki said with a smile. They smiled back and bowed saying: "Thank you!"
"By the way, I'm Sugawara and this is Daichi." Sugawara introduced himself and the guy beside him.
" 3 v 3? " Mina asked.
"Sure!" Sugawara said calling someone since they only have two members.
A blonde haired guy with glasses came as Sugawara whispered something to him. When he finished whispering the guy gave him a nod.
"He's Tsukishima." Daichi said pointing to the blonde haired guy.
"Shall we start?" Saki said warming her body up. Daichi smirked and nodded.
Our coach volunteered to be the judge of the game.
We went to our position and got into the ready position. Saki took a deep breath hoping her service could go over the net.
The whistle was blown meaning she has to service. Saki did a normal service and got over the net.
Daichi received it perfectly passing the ball to Sugawara.
I tried to do the read blocking but I just can't. Suddenly, Mina dragged me to where Daichi is. Sugawara tossed the ball to Daichi.
"One...Two...Three." Mina gave the timing when to jump and I jump as high as I could on three.
Saki was supporting us at the back. Daichi did a feint but Saki managed to save it.
Now, the ball was going to me. Mina was running towards the net jumping and I quickly toss the ball to Mina's palm as soon as I got the ball as Mina spiked the ball and got through them.
We got the first point and gave high-five to each other but then our game was interrupted since Karasuno must go back now.
We shook hands with them. Sugawara smiled at me saying: "I hope we can finish our game next time."
"Me too." I replied as he went out of the gym to go back to their school.
Before we went home, we had a meeting as usual.
I look at Bokuto and he was smiling proudly. He probably talks about the practice match.
I sighed as I look away from him.
"He was great during the match, I wish I could tell him this but I just can't cause' I'm scared since he always gave his attention to Akaashi and Akaashi only." I thought.
