SUMMARY:
'Liana Holly took one long swig of the firewhiskey that sat between her trembling fingers, grimacing as the liquid heat slid down her throat, a burning pool settling in her stomach. She wondered how she had gotten herself into such a mess in the first place.'
LIANA Holly had started out life pretty simple. She grew up with her mother, father and two older siblings and for the first seven years of her life, it was like they were in their own blissful bubble, kept safe from the wizarding war that was raging around them. She was completely protected by her mother's continuous efforts to shield her and her siblings from any harm that could befall them.
But one night, when Liana's parents disappeared. That all changed.
With her parents declared dead despite no evidence and her oldest sister Christina thrust into the light to keep the diminishing household together, Liana finds herself falling deeper into a hole of despair, desperately clinging to the hope to find her parents and salvage her old life. Now expelled from Beauxbatons for the trouble that gave her light in her world of dark, she is flung to Hogwarts as the third year rebel who seems cursed to cause disaster wherever she goes.
She will face heartbreak, pain and uncover secrets that were best left hidden. Can she hold on to the light she once had in her, or will it fade away?

1) This book was started in October of 2018 and my writing at the beginning was extremely cringe! I am editing all of the chapters up to the present to ensure the story flows and I haven't forgotten any plot holes. Therefore not all chapters have been edited, so bare that in mind when reading.
2) This book has all rights reserved to @paintedpotter ( aka me ). It cannot be copied, translated or reproduced in any way or form. Any similarities to any other stories or fan fictions are coincidental unless stated otherwise.
3) I am aware that the punctuation in the chapters isn't great to start with. Once you progress into the book I've written in correct punctuation, but before that I was writing with a space before it, not just after it, which is how I used to write when I was younger. I understand that this is annoying for all of you punctuation nazis and I'm trying to correct it. However, I implore you to understand how time consuming and hard it is to do that all considering I have over ninety chapters published, so I'm asking for patience and some kindness. Most chapters have been edited and should have correct grammar and punctuation. Please do not comment about it unless it is constructive and you truly can't hold yourself back. If you do comment about it- make sure you remember your manners. I've written this story for you all to enjoy not the other way around.
