Jamie Walker's POV
"Yes,Sir",I nodded at the principal of my new school.The tall,slightly buff guy was very nice to my brother and I,yet I couldn't tell if it was because he was taking my father's money,he saw our grades or he's just a nice guy overall.
I ran my fingers through my hair and stood up.
I could tell my brother was eager to check out the school and honestly I was too.
"I certainly hope you two have a good first day at Ashwood High and boys please don't forget to pick up your class schedules from Mrs Benson on the way out."
My brother gave him a small smile as we exited.
"I wonder how the track team looks!",Jared exclaimed as soon as we were in the foyer.
"If you're lucky they should look like human beings."
"Shut up Jamie aren't you excited?Football season just started",Jared smiled.
"I am,football is the only thing I am good at",I shrugged.
"Yeah well and being a dork",he laughed.
"Let's get our schedules before I go all Brock Lesnar on you",I replied walking to the secretary's desk.
There was someone talking to Mrs Benson.I moved forward to stand behind the girl.It was like she felt me because she turned around instantly.
I looked straight into her big brown eyes, they were like deep pools of dark cinnamon swirls but they were heavy and it seemed as if they hid something.
Something alluring and dangerous.
We just stood there staring at each other until Mrs Benson broke the eerie silence.
"You can go see Mr Demsey now",Mrs Benson interjected bringing me back to reality.
"Um-oh,Thanks",she mumbled walking past me and into the principal's office.
"Let's go man."
I turned to look at Jared who already held both our class schedules in his hand.
"Yes,I am right behind you",I said shaking my head to try and find my equilibrium.
"What's wrong big brother?First girl you see got you hazy? ", Jared chuckled in an evil way.
"I swear if you irritate me I'll give you a German Suplex. "
"I'm just asking, I don't want you to go through what happened with Angela. "
"Don't say her name, it brings back memories I don't want to remember", I sighed.
" Sorry man, you know what we should just get to class. We have this huge school to check out. "

Mia's POV
I made my way to my locker so I could retrieve my textbook for the next period, I hated carrying around books I didn't need. The hallway was empty by the time I had found my textbook which for some reason was underneath all my stuff. I made a mental note to clean out my locker as I shut the metal door, I had so many things that it didn't want to close. I gave it a hard nudge and all it did was make a loud, clanking noise and then swing back in my direction.
"May I offer my assistance?"
I was startled because I thought I was alone. I turned to see Trent.
"Your assistance isn't needed", I said harshly.
"You look good Mia, well you always look good", Trent said without any expression as he stepped forward and pushed my locker shut with ease.
"I said I didn't want your help, I am capable of closing a locker", I replied turning to walk away.
" No thank you at least? "
I turned back and gave him an annoyed look.
"Thank you for being a douche bag", I smiled.
" God, I've missed you ", Trent came closer to me as his lips curved into a smile. His lips were so kissable that it took everything in me not to attack him with mine.
" You've missed me? I heard you're dating Sarah Abraham", I shrugged.
"Sarah? she and I are just friends, she's close with my sister", he shrugged.
"Have fun with her", I rolled my eyes.
I turned my head away from him but he was so close to me that I couldn't escape him.
" I don't want anyone else Mia, I want you. "
My breathing hitched at the sound of his words. He always had that effect on me. I held on to every word Trent Tyler said because I was in love with him.
His lips were so close to mine that he breathed into my mouth.
I could just move forward and close the space between us but something in me told me not to.
I wanted to but I didn't.
I leaned forward but instead of kissing him I brought my lips to his ear.
