BUFFY'S POV
'Alright no more time wasting, we have to get back to the plan' I said waking up the next day, Spike was slightly stirring but still half asleep next to me. I shook his arm until he finally opened his eyes, 'What, what's going on?' he mumbled looking over at me.
'We need to stop wasting time and get this plan back on track' I told him
'It's day time I can't do anything' he replied rolling over to go back to sleep
'This is unlike you' I pouted 'thought you hated sleeping'
'No' Spike laughed 'I actually love sleeping'
I climbed on top of him, 'really?' I asked 'I can't distract you with anything'
'No' he smirked 'nothing at all would distract me right now'
'Buffy' Jessica called out knocking on the door 'the gang is here'
Spike rolled his eyes, 'of course they are, when aren't they?'
'I mean we did have months without them, months together just you and me, having fun...' I smirked back at him
'I miss it' Spike replied grabbing me and sitting up so he could kiss me properly on the lips.
We got changed and headed downstairs and to our surprise the whole gang was here, even a very pregnant Anya.
'Any baby news?' I asked Anya as Spike and I sat down together
'Not really, I want the gender to be a surprise, Xander doesn't' she replied
'I want to be prepared' Xander said 'is that such a crime?'
'A surprise sounds great' Tara told Anya
'Yeah' Willow agreed
'So what's your plan?' Giles asked me ignoring the baby talk
'Oh, ah hold on' I muttered ruffling through paper on one of the desks in the room, looking for the paper that Spike and I wrote on a few nights ago.
'Here' I told him handing it over 'it's rough, obviously and we already got the holy water dart gun, so that's step one done' I explained
'You think Angelus will risk it for Drusilla?' Giles questioned
'Yeah, I think so if he thinks Jessica is going to kill her' Spike told him
'I'm going to what?' Jessica asked who was sitting quietly in the corner trying to go unnoticed
'Well, first we'll have you pretend you're going to kill her, obviously you have the motivation so I think he'll believe it, and then maybe you will kill her, we will see how it plays out' I explained to her
'Didn't you guys promise me I could actually kill her?' Jessica snapped 'and now you're saying I have to pretend? I think Angelus will know I'm faking it'
'He might yeah' Spike said 'well you can torture her, he will believe that'
'Right, anyway how will we kill Angelus?' Giles asked, always getting annoyed that conversations got off topic
'Ya know just hand to hand combat' I smiled
'Really?' he questioned yet again
'You want to be watcher then I'm assuming and figure out a plan of your own? Well you did that and I read your plan and it wasn't going to work' I snapped feeling annoyed that after all these years I still wasn't getting the respect I deserved for my work, 'your plan consisted of you and Tara doing magic, it didn't even include me' I continued
'It was a working progress Buffy' Giles said trying to diffuse the situation before it got out of hand, just like usual.
'No it wasn't, you were mad at Willow and I assume me, and you were trying to get back at us' I explained
'Your plan doesn't involve anyone besides you and Spike and you started the plan without us' Giles finally snapped
'Spike and I haven't finished the plan, and yes we started the plan without you because we had to do it quickly before the vampire hunter left' I said 'and if you had let me finish I was just going to ask Willow if she had found any good spells, because I had asked her to do that'
'Ah, well yeah' Willow mumbled 'Tara and I have been surfing through some old magic books, there's one that can call sunshine on anyone, also calling rain on anyone that we can magically turn into holy water and well we found a good garlic recipe that we can dip stake into. I think we all have to remember the easy stuff to hurt vampires' she smiled sweetly
'Sounds good' I replied.
