10- And you are?

SPIKE'S POV

The plan was already in action, we were at Angelus' old place to see if maybe Drusilla had taken up home there, but so far nothing but spiders. So we trekked to the first home Drusilla had in Sunnydale, the one where I accompanied her. 

'She's not here' Buffy sighed 'I don't know where she would be'

Out of no where a girl flew through the room and kicked Buffy across the face, causing her to land on the ground, I yelled her name crouching down to her side. Willow and Tara both raised their arms causing the girl to be pinned to the wall struggling to move.

'Witches' She gasped

'Hey!' Willow yelled back 'oh right that's not offensive' 

Buffy shook her head and stood up.

'What the hell was that for?' she asked the girl

'This is known vampire territory, I assume you're all vampires' the girl replied

'Well we're not!' Xander yelled back, 'Well one of us is but that's not the point!' 

'Who are you?' Buffy questioned

The girl looked away, unsure whether to tell us her name, after a long pause she said 'I'm Jessica, the vampire slayer'

Buffy looked at me, I looked confused and felt confused, especially as I didn't know how Buffy was going to react, except she said 'Hm doesn't have a good ring to it, not like Buffy' she smirked at me

I agreed 'hm definitely, the name Buffy has a certain flow'

'Why are you all joking around?' Jessica snapped 'Who are you all?'

'You're joking right?' Buffy laughed 'I am the real vampire slayer'

'You're alive?' she asked 

Buffy span around 'well I'm walking and talking aren't I?' 

Jessica looked heartbroken.

'Why were you called if Buffy didn't die?' Giles asked and then turned to Buffy 'You didn't die again did you?' 

'You've died before?' Jessica asked

'Only twice, no big deal. I have not died again Giles'

'The council hadn't noticed any activity going on, vampire numbers were still high and as far as they hadn't noticed there was no slayer. They said they had not heard from you in years and assumed you to be dead. So I was called to take your place.' Jessica explained

'My works going unnoticed? Typical!" Buffy yelled 'Anyway, were looking for a vampire called Drusilla, she's pale, black hair, has a whole container of my blood, ring any bells?' 

'No, have you checked the grave yard?'

'You think Drusilla would be stupid enough to go back to the crypt where she took my blood?' Buffy asked me

'Do I need to answer that pet?' I laughed a little

'Wait! He's a vampire!' Jessica screamed

'Yeah, and stay away from him' Buffy replied, giving a look of death.
