Chapter 9: Sleepover and Breakfast
"I don't think it's a good idea for her to go home. I think she should stay here." I hear Amy says as Jack and I start to walk to the front of the house. "Mother please don't start." Jack says as we reach the stairs. I've couldn't help but giggle a little, she was really trying hard to make me stay. After our run in with Roxas, I was still a little shaken up and Jack was still tense I think. We didn't talk about what happened, even Amy didn't say anything but Jack didn't let me out of his sight. We just stood and talk to people while he kept his hand on my waist which I can't complain about, it was nice but now I was ready to sleep and as much as I love this dress, I need it off.
"I'll be back on Monday for work." I say as we reach the car. Jack and I agreed that Sunday would be my day off so I can stay up on homework and family time. I see Jack open the door for me and right when I was about to get in I hear a cry. "Elsa!" I turn and feel a hard push on my leg, I look down to see Emma holding on to me for dear life. "You can't go! Why don't you stay and have a sleep over? Please?" Emma bagged as she gave me some puppy dog eyes. I look at Jack who is not saying anything or doing anything so I look back at Emma, "But... I don't any pajamas..." I say hurting my heart seeing her upset.
I can see Emma was about to cry as I see tears go into her eyes and I was not ready for that. "Elsa, came with me. Emma get to bed, I'll send her up in a bit." Jack said making Emma smile as she hugs Jack, "Thank you big brother!" She giggles as she runs up the stairs making Amy follow behind her. I look at Jack as he grabs my hand and drags me to the backyard again. "Jack... You don't have too..." But he doesn't say anything as he we reach his small apartment. "Go sit, I'll be right back." Jack says as he goes into his room and I sit on the couch. I go through my purse and grab my phone, I better tell Serena I'm staying here.
My boss's little sister talked me into staying the night. I'll tell you more tomorrow.
I text waiting for Serena to text me back which wasn't long as I hear my ringtone go off.
Well that is adorable, have fun and you better text me tomorrow.
She sent me before giving me a winking face emoji making me smile as I see hear Jack came back in the room. "Telling your friend that you got dragged into a sleep over with a seven year old?" He ask making me laugh as I look up feeling my eyes widen, Jack walked out wearing only sweatpants and no shirt showing off his six pack. Almost like in slow motion he moves his fingers through his mop top hair and fluffed it up so it wasn't so formal anymore. I turn my head away from him so he doesn't see my cheeks go red. "Yeah..Something like that." I say cleaning my throat feeling like I'm ready to look at him again. I turn back to him to see that his closer now and his holding something. "What's that?" I ask as I point at his hands. "You can sleep in this tonight." Jack says handing me this pajamas. "Thank you... I'm sorry about this."
I move over so Jack and join me on the couch, he looked tried but yet still perfect. "There is nothing to be sorry about, before you go to sleep, do you want a drink with me?" He ask making me smile as I nod. "I'll get the drinks." I say as I stand. "You're not working though." Jack yells as I go into the kitchen and grab two beers. "Dose it matter?" I ask as I walk back in and hand Jack a beer. "I told you, you are my date tonight, I need to be a gentleman."
I couldn't help but smile, "You were my date, you are a gentleman but the night is over, as of right now, I'm your friend." "And worker." He adds as we click glasses. I couldn't help but laugh, "You just had to didn't you?" I laugh taking a drink. "I couldn't help it." He smirks before he takes a drink and places his drink on the table. "Why don't you go change, get comfy and we'll talk." He says surpassing me, "Wait... You want to talk about..." "Tonight. You held your end of the deal, I'll hold mine." He says. I look at the pajama in my hand, it would be nice to get of this dress,"I'll be right back." I say as I start to go to the bathroom to change, "No, go into my room, And hang your dress in my closet please." Jack says making me even more surprised, was he tipsy or something?
"Okay.." I whisper as I go into his room and close the door.

Taking the dress off was way easier then putting it on that's for sure. I hang the dress in his closet next to his suits and then back to the bed picking up the pajamas that Jack handed me to see that it's just a shirt. Just a Panic at the Disc t-shirt making me confused, he didn't get me shorts or pants to sleep in, plus he didn't seem like a PATD kind of guy. I sigh as I put the shirt on to see that it was short but it covered my ass... A less a little. I let out a huff as I walk out of the room, to see Jack on the couch with a blanket.
He turns to me and I see some red go to his cheeks but I also see three beer bottles on the table. It's just the alcohol I thought as I join him on the couch. "That... Shirt fits you well." Jack stuttered as he covers his mouth for some odd reason. I pull the shirt down but I knew it wasn't going anywhere. Jack must of saw my uncomfortableness and handed the blanket to me. "I... I thought you'd get cold." He said making me smile a little as I grab the blanket and sit right next. We sat on the couch in silents for awhile, maybe to embarrass to say anything since we both were almost half naked.
"So..." I say and clear my throat and look at Jack who was trying not to look at me. "Who was that man?" I ask finally breaking the ice. I watch as Jack closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. "Let me start at the beginning, my uncle Fujitsu Jin and father build the Fujitsu name and company. Roxas' is Jin's son and we're the same age, only a few months apart. When we turned sixteen, we started to work at the company for a few hours just to get our foot in the door.
I took it serious because I knew my father wanted me to run this company when I got out of college. But Roxas... Roxas didn't. He used his name to get ladies and through parties. His father saw it and tried to have him changed his actions but nothing worked." Jack took a deep breath as he turn to me, "Then my uncle got sick, really sick and I took over for him." Jack let out a laugh, "Jin was a tuff man, nothing could bring him down. We all thought he would get better but... He didn't." I couldn't help but feel my heart break as I grab Jack's hand making him look down at it. "I'm so sorry Jack." I whisper as he places his hand on top of mine.
"It's been a year now, I'm doing better but thank you Elsa." Jack says slowly and gives me that rare smile I like but I also started to notice a trend whenever he used that smile. "In my uncle's will, he gave me his half of the company and Roxas was pissed. He told me he'll have his revenge and that I'll pay for it." That made a shiver go down my spine, "Do you think he'll do it?" I ask as I take my beer and take a drink. Jack just shook his head, "He doesn't have the balls." He says making me chock on my beer, I wasn't ready for that.
I hear Jack laugh making me glare at him as I wipe my mouth, "You did that on purpose." I hiss making me smile, "But I didn't, it just happened." I roll my eyes but couldn't help but smile, it was nice seeing Jack open up. Should I tell him about dad? I don't know if I was ready for that, but I know soon I was going to have too. It's not fair of him to open up to me and I keep up my walls. But I also know his walls are still up and I don't know if I'm breaking them down or not.
I could feel my eyes starting to drop from being tried but I had one more question for him. "Jack." I say as I see Jack's body start to slump down a little showing how tried he was getting, maybe I should wait until another time to ask him. "I better get to Emma's room before she gets upset." I say as I start to stand but I feel Jack's hand tighten on mine making me stay where I was. "She's already asleep. She won't know you're not there." He says as he moves his body to me and lay his head on my lap making me freeze. "What... What are you doing?" I whisper not knowing where to put my hands.
"I'm sorry... I'm just so.. tried." Jack whispers almost sounding drunk but I knew he wasn't. "Should I go?" I ask but Jack put his arm on my leg, "You're not moving. You are staying here." He says kind of sits up a little just to put his arms around my waist and starts to fall back on his back pulling me with him. I gasp as I feel my hands on his chest and I was tryin to keep my head up. "Elsa, put your head down." Jack orders. "I don't think this is..." I start until I see Jack's eyes lock on mine. "Elsa, you are warm, and I am comfortable, you are not moving." He says making me put my head down.
Jack was just throws so many mixed signals I didn't know what to do. "I don't know how to take this..." I say as I feel Jack's chest raise, "This means nothing. I told you, I have a crush on you and I can't control my actions around you. But this means nothing." He says making me tighten my hand, why did that hurt hearing that? "You know, this is why girls fall for you. Because you're a charmer." I say as I feel Jack put his hand on my head starting to play with my hair. "I don't do this with other girls." He says making me hold my breath, that has to be a lie.
I tried to stay awake, I wanted to try and sneak out when Jack fell asleep. I could feel his chest start to slowly move meaning he was almost asleep. I was just about to make my move when I feel his arms go around me holding me tight on him. "Damn it..." I whisper knowing very well I was trapped. I sigh as I burry my head into Jack's neck, I have no choice but to get comfortable and within moments, I was asleep.

I could feel the sun on my skin the next morning as I slowly start open my eyes and as I feel something moving on my back. I look up to see Jack's sleeping face close to mine. I forgot that I fell asleep on him and that he trapped me into sleeping on him. It was weird seeing Jack asleep like this but I couldn't help but smile, he was so handsome. Seeing him like this made me feel like Prince Philip when he kissed Princess Aurora. Which was a little weird but I couldn't help but think like that.
I had the strangest urge to kiss him, I never had this urge before. "Oh my god Elsa snap out of it." I say to myself, I was not going to kiss him. No matter how... nice his lips look. I bet they taste like raspberry. I thought making me want to hit myself, what is wrong with me!? I need to get away from him, I can't get sucked into his... Hottness! I was just about to wake up him when I see a smile go on his lips, a small smile that if I blinked, I would of missed it. It made my heart beat faster as I reach my head up and kissed him, fast but tender. When I pull back, I see Jack is awake and looking at me. "Well good morning to you too." He says making me gasp as I roll and fall off the couch.
"Ow.. ow.. ow!" I say as I grab my head and look at Jack who is just looking at me with that damn smirk. "Have you been awake this whole time!" I hiss making him smirk again, "Pretty much yeah." "Why didn't you say anything!?" I ask as I get up and kick Jack's feet so I can sit back down. "I wanted to see what you'd do, if you'd leave me to sleep or wake me up. But I did not think you'd kiss me." He says making my cheeks red, "I... I didn't kiss you. It was... A peak. Just a peak." I say as I shiver, winter was coming, I could feel it.
Jack must of felt the same shiver as I did because I saw his body shake a little as he stood up. "Let me get you some sweat pants and a sweatshirt and we better go to the main house." He says as he goes into his room. I glare at him as I stand and take the three beer bottles in the kitchen and pour mine bottle down the drain and throw all three bottles away. "Working even though it's your day off." I hear behind me making me turn to have a sweatshirt and sweatpants thrown at my face. I grab them glaring at Jack only to see that smirk again, "What are you five?" I ask putting the shirt and pants on.
"I'm not paying you overtime for what you did, actually I should take some pay for kissing your boss." He says making my mouth drop, "I did no kiss you! And this is your fault! You made me stay here, you held me hostage in you muscular arms and then you gave this... innocent smile making me..." I totally lost my train of thought... I was just ranting now, not even knowing what I was saying. Jack notice I was ranting making him cross his arms and just look at me.
"You think I have muscular arms?" He ask. I roll my eyes and walk by him, "Don't start with me Frost-Chan." I slipped out, he was going to use that against me. I was just waiting for him to say something, or to smirk at me again but instead, he just grabbed my hand and started to pull me out of the house. "Where are we going?" I ask as we step outside and the Fall air just hits me in the face making me take a deep breath. I look around the garden to see it was still had the lights up and some of the workers were cleaning up form the party last night.
"We are going to breakfast. Knowing my mother, she'll want you to have breakfast together, it's a Sunday tradition to get breakfast together since it's the only day the family is all together. Dad and I aren't allowed to work on this day." He says as he waves to one of the gardeners. We use to have Sunday breakfast together when my dad was here, it made me really miss days like that. Before we stepped inside Jack garbs my shoulders making me look at him. "There is something I need to tell you that I didn't last night." His voice serious. I raise an eyebrow waiting for him to tell me.
"After my uncle died, Roxas had nowhere else to go. He was alone, his mother died five years ago and now his father..." Jack started and I was a little worried on what he'd say next. "Jack... His not living here is he?" I ask my voice shaking a little. Jack's hands go down my arms to my hands holding them tight, "He normally sleeps in till noon, he most likely won't be at breakfast, no one in my family will let him touch you. I promise." He says making me nod, "Okay. You're right, I'm over thinking it." I say with a small laugh, "Come on, I'm hungry." I say and open the door to feel a pair of arms go around my leg,
"Elsa! You're here! I thought you left last night." I hear Emma say as I look down at her putting my hand on her head. "No I um.. just snuck out this morning to wake up your brother, we didn't want him to miss breakfast did we?" I ask looking at Jack who gave me a wink before he ruffles Emma's hair and walks over to his mother who was sitting at the kitchen table reading a book why his father was reading the paper. "Good morning love." Amy says as Jack kisses her on the cheek. "Good morning mother, father." Jack says nodding at his dad as he puts the paper down.
"Well, I thought you two would of slept in after last night." Haru said with a grin. I feel my cheeks get warm as Jack pulls out a chair locking eyes on me before he lowers them to the chair telling me to go sit there which I do. I was trapped between the two Fujitsu men making me almost uncomfortable. I felt like a wallflower in this family as I listen to everyone talk to each other while food was being past around, almost like it was Thanksgiving. "Elsa, are you in the same class as Jackson?" Amy ask as she took a slip of her drink right after I finish chewing my food.
"Umm, no his in the room next to me, we actually don't see each other much except for lunch." I say. "We had class together last year, that's how I meet her." Jack said making me look at him, dose he really remember how we meet? I see Amy put her elbows on the table and lend in, "Really? Well, I would love to hear this story." I didn't know what to tell her, Jack and I's first meeting wasn't... normal. "Umm... Can I use your restroom please?" I ask trying to see if that would work on changing the subject. "Oh sure sweetie, it's up the stairs, second door on the right." Amy says happy that my plan worked.
I stand making Jack stand with me, "Would you like me to show you?" Jack ask. "Oh Jackson, leave her be, she'll be fine, I showed her the house remember?" Amy said but I could tell Jack wasn't taking that. "I'll be fine Jack. Stop worrying." I say as I walk by him to the stairs. I just need to get a break and splash some water on my face. As I reach the top of the stair, I look closer at the family picture now that there was no one in my way. I couldn't help but stare at that smile, I wish he'd smile like that more. I finish my way up the stairs until I reach the second door.
As I reach the door knob, I see the door open to see Roxas step out only wearing a towel around his waist and his hair wet. I step back quickly making him freeze. "Ah, so my cousin's new playmate stayed the night last night. Elsa was it?" He ask making me cross my arms, "Moon-San to you." I hiss making him laugh, "Oh where was this little feisty girl at last night?" Roxas ask, last night I was a different person, tonight I'm back to myself and I won't be bullied by this jackass. "Look, I just need to use the restroom, now if you excuse me." I say as I push past him only to have him grab my arm. "You know, I saw you. I saw you leaving Jack's little shack. What were you doing huh?" He ask. So he was the one that I saw watching me that day.
I wasn't going to tell him the truth, not in a million years. "I was helping Jack with his homework, is that alright?" I huff locking eyes with him. We kept our eyes locked not saying a word, Roxas pulls me closer, "I will find out your secret, there is no way in hell he would of gotten over Birdie like that so quickly." I pull my arm back as and stepped in the bathroom and quickly locked the door placing my back to it. I took as many breaths as I could before I went to the sink and slash some water on my face. I need a break, I need... Jack.

"There you are, did you get lost?" I hear Emma say making me smirk a little, "No, I umm ran into Roxas." I said and I see Jack stiffen up as he looked at me. "Well I hope he apologized to you." Haru said almost with a hint of anger in his voice. I looked at Amy, "I had to tell him what Roxas did. It wasn't okay." She says and she was right to not hide anything from Haru. I didn't want to start a fight with anyone in this family. So I lied, "Yes, he did. He said he didn't mean to scare me last night, you know how it is, he had a few to many drinks." I say trying not to look at Jack, scared that he would know I'm lying.
I hear a chair get push back and I knew it was Jack. "Elsa, can you help me with some homework?" I hear Jack ask finally making me look at him. He looked super pissed, and I was in trouble. "Umm, yeah." I say as he grabs my hand and starts to pull me out. "Elsa dear." I hear making me stop and look at Amy, "Will you be joining us for dinner tonight?" Half of my heart really wanted too but... I think I need to be with my family tonight, and to see my dad.
"Thank you for the invite ma'am but I think my mother would kill me if I missed dinner tonight." I say with a smile. Before she could ask me anything else, Jack pulled me out of the main house and into the cool Fall air. "Jack..." I whisper but he just kept pulling, not rough but enough to make me scared what he'll ask me. We walk to his apartment and quickly closed the door. "What did he say to you?" He ask. I sigh, I don't need to see this side of Jack. "Jack please I can handle myself." I say trying to push my way to the door but he blocked me out.
"Oh no, you are not leaving." He says as he grabs my shoulders and pushed me on the couch pinning me down. "Are you kidding me!?" I say as I try and push him off but of course he was stronger then me. "Jack this is really stepping over the line!" I say as he puts more weight on me and holds my arms down. "No what is over the line is you not telling me what Roxas said. I don't know what he is planning and if he knew I... like you, then he might hurt you or use you." He says making me roll my eyes.
"For God sake Jack, why are you pushing me to stay around you so much? I get it, you have a crush on me but that's just it, a crush. It'll be gone in a week and you'll be a pain in the ass to someone else!" I yell. He was just staring at me hard, I don't now what he was thinking. Was I to harsh? I take a deep breath and start relax a little not trying to put up a fight, "I'm not a damsel in distress, I don't need you to save me. I've have to much shit in my life to make me weak, I'm not weak." I say more calmly this time. I feel his hands tighten around my wrist, "You think I think you're weak? That never crosses my mind at all Elsa. I think you're the strongest people I know, and there are so many... Walls you put up that I just want to..."
"Knock them down?" I finish for him making him nod, "We're not so different Elsa. You know I have walls up, and they are put pretty damn high, and the closer I get to you, the easier it is for them to fall. I'm trying to open myself to you." He says and I know he was telling the truth, but... was he really trying that hard? "Do you feel anything for me?" He ask throwing me off guard, what can I say to him? "Why dose it matter? Why feel anything besides friendship to a man who won't fall in love with you?" I ask.
I'm not in love with Jack, I'm not even close to that but if I do start to show my feeling for him, I don't want to end up heartbroken. I wait for him to answer until we hear a knock at the door. I wait for Jack to get up but he still won't budge. "Jack... The door." I say but he just keeps staring at it. I take this chance to push him off and go to the door. "Elsa, wait!" I hear Jack say but it was to late as I open it, I see a girl with deep red hair with some blonde mixed in and green eyes that look like they are piercing into my soul. The girl crosses her arms while she looks me up and down before she starts to glares at me, "Who the hell are you?" She hisses making me step back.
What the hell was her problem? I was just about to snap back at her when I feel someone step next to me. "Birdie, what are you doing here?" Jack ask as the girl looks at Jack. I look at Jack and then at the woman before I point at her, "This is Birdie?" I ask making glare at me again, "I see that you've heard of me but you still didn't answer my question bitch, who the fuck are you!?" She yells again starting to piss me off. "I'm..." I start until I feel an arm go around me pulling me closer to Jack.
"This is Moon Elsa, my fiancé."
Hey guys! Sorry for the late updated! It's been a little crazy with the family right now. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day and I know a lot of you are going back to school now or soon! So I hope all your guys classes are easier and they don't give you to much homework! I know my chapters are getting a lot longer and if you don't like that or wish they were shorting I'm really sorry but I don't think that will happen. I'm changing up my writing style a little and I hope you guys like it. I'll hope to updated again soon so thank you everyone to reading my story, I really hope you enjoy it and as always, sorry for my grammar and spelling and I'll see you guys in the next update!
