I twisted the blade in my hand debating if I should cut myself again.For some reason I haven't been doing it lately...I don't know why I guess it just skips my mind.I haven't really talked to Liah as much either...I hate to admit it but I feel different when I'm around her.
I barely know her yet it feel some kind of connection with her.I don't know it's weird as fuck...and I haven't felt this way about a girl since Geneva
And no I don't like her...I just feel a connection between us that's it.
I threw the blade in under the bathroom sink and walked out going outside.I needed to talk to someone so I texted Stokeley and asked for Liah's Number and saved her number as 'Her'

Her:Who is this?
I was surprised she was up at this time.
Me:Jahseh
Her:Oh...How did you get my number?
Me:Stokeley
Her:If you wanted my number you just could've asked😌
Me:Don't flatter ya self shorty😉

I sighed heavily before going to the FaceTime button.
I smirked flipping my hair back as Jahseh started at me
"Are...are you outside?"I asked
"Yeah"
"Why are you outside 4:00 in the morning...shouldn't you be sleep?"
"I could ask you the same question"He said
"Some nights I can't sleep"I said lowly
"Me either"
The line went silent as Jahseh stared at me through the camera
"What?"
"I'm still waiting on your apology"
I smirked "I'm so sorry Jahseh"
"Forr?"
"I'm sorry for Calling you short"I said through laughs
His face was stale "You don't even mean that shit but okay"
"I do mean it"I smiled
"Why are you smiling?"he smirked
I laughed shyly "You make me smile"I blurted out
His smirk went away as he stared at me yet again with a stale face "I do what?"
"Nothing um I'm about to go to bed"
"I thought you couldn't sleep"
I faked yawned "Well I'm feeling a little bit tired,I think I can actually"
"Okay...see you in a couple of hours"He said.I smiled and quickly hung up.

I walked in the class room and saw that a couple of students were already in the classroom.

Then Stokeley walked in causing me to go straight to my desk
"I see your early today"I smirked to Jahseh
"So are you"He said
"Are y'all like a couple?"Ling asked pointing between us
"Yup"Aylek smirked
"No"Jahseh said sending Aylek a death stare
"Y'all would be cute as fuck tho-"Bella said
"We just friends"I said cutting Bella off
It got quite for a little while before Stokeley started talking
"Aye Liah...can I talk to you at lunch today?"Stokeley asked
"I'm good love"I said
"Look I'll explain everything just please let me treat you to lunch today"Stokeley plead
I rolled my eyes "Ight"
He smirked "Thank you"
"Mmhm"I said taking out my homework from last night
"Shit we had homework?!"Bella asked
"Bitch yea...it's the first week of school and you already forgot to do it?"Ling said
"I ain't do that shit either"...Stokeley laughed
"And yo dumbass gon fail"Jahseh said causing me and Ling to laugh
Stokeley stale faced Jahseh

"PROBABLY because you left his girl at the party that night and said she wasn't shit to you "Aylek said

She just smirked and turned around in her desk as the bell rung causing students to run in
"Jah how the hell does she know that?"I asked looking back at him.
He shrugged "I don't know I didn't tell her"
I sighed and turned around how the fuck does she know that?

The lunch bell rung causing students to run out the classroom and go to lunch.I was the last person walk out the room and there I saw Stokeley outside the classroom room waiting for me.

We were at chic fil-a eating inside Stokeley ordered a Chicken nugget meal with Lemonade and I ordered a Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich with fries and a Tea.We were just eating and it was so awkward causing we literally haven't said a word to each other since we left school grounds.
"Okay that's enough...Tell me why you brung me here"I said placing my Tea down and looking straight into his eyes
He popped one more nugget in his mouth before speaking "I brought you here to personally apologize...I led you on and made you feel like we were becoming more than friends and I'm sorry for that.Now to be completely honest I was gonna end things with India we were going through some shit and she said it was over that night I came over Jahseh's house...long story short I guess I just-"
"Used me for a distraction to get your mind off India"I finished his sentence
He looked at me with guilt "I'm sorry-"
I smiled and grabbed his hand "Its okay Stokeley...I know what it's like to try to get your mind off the person you love off your mind by trying to be with someone else"
"You do?"He asked
"Yeah...So enough with the apologies....it's ok"I said
"We can still be friends tho?"he asked
I shrugged "If India doesn't mind...sure why not"I smiled

It was the last class of the day and I was ready to go the fuck home.Today was so stressful but I'm glad me and Stokeley got an understanding Of each other and we Cool now.
But After lunch,me and Stokeley came back to school and I saw Jahseh in the cafeteria I walked up to him and said 'Hey' and he mean mugged me before emptying his tray and storming off.
Like wtf? But hey I don't have time for his bipolar ass.
Once the Afternoon announcement was over with the bell rung and I was out.
Walking out I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around and saw Ling smiling big.
"So how you like it here so far?"
"It's cool I guess"I shrugged looking seeing Jahseh eyeing me from his locker,I just rolled my eyes
"Hmm Trouble in Paradise?"She laughed
"What? No..I don't know what's up with him...I went to lunch with Stokeley today and when I came back he's just been ignoring me"
"IT'S BECAUSE...He's likes you"I heard someone behind us say
I turned around and saw Aylek standing there smirking.
"Jahseh doesn't like me okay? So stop saying that"I was actually getting annoyed with her.Like it's obviously that boy doesn't like me

I walked out the school and decided I was gonna walk home today.

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk.His kept up with my walking speed,he rolled down his window and looked at me with a stale face
"WHAT?"
"Who the fuck you talking to like that?"He asked stopping the car
I looked around me then looked at Jahseh
"Nigga you!"I scoffed before before walking again and he continued to kept up with my walking pace
"Don't get fucked up"He said
"Excuse me?"I stopped as he stopped the car and we stared at each for 15 seconds before he BURST out laughing.
"Get yo ass in the car man"He laughed
"Uh no thanks..I'm good love,enjoy"I said walking again
"Liah get in the car...it's gonna rain soon"
"I'm almost home so it doesn't matter"I shrugged
Just then I heard a large thunder sound making me jump.Jahseh laughed as I glared at him.
"It's gon rain on yo head"He said impersonating the little boy from 'The Color Purple'
"That's not funny"I smirked
"Then why are you smiling?"
"I'm not"
He sucked his teeth "Come on man get in the fucking car!"he said sounding angry
"No! And stop yelling at me"
He sighed "what do I have to do for you to get in?"
I stopped and looked at him "Well you can start by telling me why you mean mugged me today and why you was ignoring me"
"I was...I Uh...I don't know"
I scoffed "You don't know?"
"Look I'm Sorry...is that what you wanna hear huh? Im sorry"he said lowly
"I don't think you mean that"

Jahseh nodded and got out of his car and stood on his roof and spread his arms out
"IM SORRY LIAH! IM SO SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME!"He faked cried causing people to come outside theirs houses
"Ok Jahseh Stop"I chuckled nervously
"PLEASSSSEEE!"he dropped to his knees
"Uh ma'am is he okay?"A lady in a red truck ask
"Yes he's fine"I smiled at her.She nodded and drove off
Jahseh continued to scream and fake cry so I got in the car.He smiled before getting in the drivers side
"You're crazy"I gasp
"Tell me something I don't know"He said nonchalantly

By the time we arrived home it was raining,thundering,and lightning.
Jahseh pulled in my garage and turned off his car.
"Can I ask you something?"He asked
"Shoot"
"Where did you and Stokeley go today?"
"We went to Chic fil-a"
"Why?"
"He wanted to apologize about India"I said
He nodded
"Can I ask you something"
"Sure pal"he said in a goofy voice
"Can I hear more of your music?"
"Uhhh...I don't know it's....kinda personal"
"Come on Jahseh...pleassseee"I whined
"Okay"He sighed pulling out of my garage and going into his garage.
Jahseh got out the car and I was about to open my side until he stopped me
"I gotchu"He said before hopping out and running to my side to open my door.We ran to his porch and he quickly unlocked the door.
We breath heavily as we walked in his house.
"Is your mom here?"I ask taking off my jacket and hanging it on the coat rack
"No...she took Aiden to the dentist today"he said breathing heavy
"Come on"He said guiding me upstairs
Once we made it to his bedroom he took off his jacket and through it in his dirty clothes.He grabbed his MacBook and sat next to me on his bed he then clicked on SoundCloud
"Okay...you ready?"He asked
I nodded
He pressed a button and the song started playing.
I listened to the lyrics carefully and stared at him as I listened.
Only time I feel pain,When I felt in love...I felt that shit.
Once the song ended he looked at me and I was already staring at him soooo we was just staring at each other.

"You like it?"He asked
"No"
His face held a hurt look as he looked down "
"I loved it"I said causing his head to shot up quickly
He licked his lips and leaned in...our lips were literally centimeters away.I felt his cool lips touch mine,our lips moved in sync as I grabbed the back of his head and he slowly got on top of me.
I then started to have flashbacks

He got on top of me trying to kiss me...he held my arms over my head with one hand.His other hand went in my pants causing me to squirm
"No! Stop get out of my room! Kentrell stop it!"I yelled on the verge of crying
Kentrell was my ex.Me being young, and dumb I invited him and his friends over my house when no one was home and He was drunk that night along with his friends and they tried to rape me.... and they almost did.Until Nahmir showed up with our crew and beat the shit outta them.

"STOP!"I yelled pushing Jahseh off of me.I stood up and grabbed my book bag
He looked at me with a confused look "Did I do something wrong?"
"No...I just...I-I gotta go"I stuttered
"Why?"He asked
"I'm sorry Jah"I said before running out of the door
