Hana's POV
A few months have passed and my life has been turned upside down. Idol life seems so glamorous on the outside and when they do interviews. But being on the inside you see the bags under their eyes and pure exhaustion on their face. GD had coffee in his cup this morning just to miss his mouth and poured it on himself. My oppa then covered my ears to hide the now angry, cursing GD. But now he's wide awake.
Even though it has only been a few weeks, these members have put so much effort into making me like we're a family. We've all got a lot closer and GD has seemed to open up to me as well. But bringing me back to reality was Seungri jumping on the couch right next to Young-bae and me.
"Hey Young-bae, did you tell your sister about the concert coming up?" Seungri asked.
I was really confused because I knew they had to have something coming up since they've been practicing every day. I always go with them to their dance practice but end up falling asleep on the couch.
"I forgot. But umm...we have this big concert coming up and you get to meet a bunch of artists under the YG entertainment."
He seemed very excited but I was terrified. I mean I get to see the boys on stage but meeting a bunch of people. I still don't talk to everyone in the studio when they train because I'm too scared.
"Do I have to come? Can't we get a babysitter or even your manager Soomi?"
He seemed a little hurt but only showed it for a second.
"Why don't you want to come to Hana?"
"Mommy died when we were driving to your concert and you just said I'll meet a bunch of artists. What if they don't like me?"
TOP came over and gave me a hug
"Who couldn't like a little angel like you? You are the sweetest little girl."
Then Daesung came over.
"We're taking the company car too. We'll tell the driver to be extra careful driving. I know what it means to be a careful driver."
He looked down saying that. I didn't understand what he meant but I gave him a comforting hug because he needed it.
"Okay. I'll come."
They all cheered discussing what fun I'll have and all the groups that will be there.
Concert Day
I was hanging out with my older brother Young-bae and his other band members just relaxing before they need to prepare to go on stage. YG was having a concert tour that featured 2NE1, BlackPink, Big Bang, and Epik High all together on stage for multiple fandoms (fans) to can come together seeing all their favorite groups at once.
I didn't know anyone though really. I just sat in the corner because I was really shy and thrown into a world I didn't understand. But then a little girl my age ran into the room.
"Get ready guys! You're up next."
"Thank you, Haru." G Dragon said giving her a smile.
She then blushed a little and was about to take off.
"Wait Haru! Can you come here for a second?" Taeyang asked.
"But I got to go inform the others and wish them luck."
"Just a second Haru. Will you take my sister with you? She's new here and I want you to introduce her to the YG family. Pleeaassee?" Taeyang asked while giving a puppy dog look.
Haru nodded her head with a smile.
"Hi, I'm Haru. What's your name?"
"I'm Hana. Nice to-"
"Nice to meet you Hana but we are late."
Before I can ask any questions, she was dragging me behind her out of the room. I see my oppa and his friends waving and smiling as I was being dragged out.
"Hey girls! You guys are going to be great out there." Haru said cheerfully.
"Thank you, Haru. Who's your little friend?" A very beautiful girl with long blonde hair asked.
"This is Hana, Taeyang's little sister. She's new here to the YG family so I'm introducing her to everyone."
"Hello, Hana. My name is CL."
"I'm Dara"
"Park Bom."
"MINZY!!"
These girls seemed really friendly and energetic. But my shyness was taking over. The most I could do was give a small wave. But then CL crouched down giving me an unexpected hug.
"Taeyang has told us so much about his lovely sister. I'm glad to finally meet you.''
I finally loosened up to them a little. They acted like older sisters to Haru and I. But then Haru said we were late again because we had other people to meet.
After all the introductions, Haru then pulled me backstage watching all the performances up close. I was watching my oppa and band members dancing and pumping up the crowd.
"There you are Haru! I was looking everywhere for you. Next time you must tell me or someone from the staff where you are running off to."
"Sorry, appa. But uncle Taeyang wanted me to show his sister around."
"Sister?"
I finally looked up seeing an older man with short black hair dressed all in black look back me. I shied away a bit because I didn't know him but Haru grabbed my hand pulling me to her side.
"This is my appa but others know him by Tablo. His band is named Epik High."
I then gave him a small bow and he just smiled down at me and his daughter.
"I remember your brother talking about you staying with him and Big Bang. He was very excited about you staying with him Hana. I know this is all a lot to take in but it'll get easier. How would like to spend some more time with Haru and her mom on the private balcony watching the rest of the show?"
I didn't know these people and I was afraid to leave without my oppa knowing. Tablo must have seen knew staring at Taeyang on stage.
"I promise I'll tell him you're with my wife and daughter. He also has a few more songs with me after this. He'll come to get you though when he's done." Tablo said.
My brother trusted Haru to show me around. So if this is her dad then I guess I can trust him too. So then I nodded my head and Haru again dragged me behind to the private balcony where her mom was. She was very pretty. Medium black hair, petite and a heart-warming smile.
"Eomma!! Eomma!! I brought a friend! Hana this is my eomma. Eomma, Hana. Taeyang's sister."
"Oh my gosh! I finally get to meet the lovely little sister. I've told Taeyang that we should have a playdate with you and my Haru. Would you like that one day?"
I nodded my head in excitement to hang out with Haru some more.
"Shh! Appa is on stage! Yay Epik High!!"
Listening more to his music, Haru and I were bouncing up and down dancing to the beat.
"See that ring glowing? He and I bought matching ones so he can see me while he's on stage. He kept his promise on wearing his!" Haru said.
Right after she said that my heart hurt a little. I never knew what having a dad was like since he died before I was old enough to know who he was. The pain of my mom recently dying too was still raw. I faked a smile so I wouldn't sour the mood because I was really happy for Haru. But it hurt knowing I didn't have one.
After the concert, we ran to Epik High's dressing room. They were really sweaty and worn out slouching in their chairs.
"Did you see me and the sign I made you appa?"
"I saw you sweet Haru. Let me see your sign."
I stood in the corner witnessing the sweet conversation between Tablo and his daughter. I was trying to leave without anyone noticing but Haru's mom did.
"Where are you going Hana?''
"I should go find oppa so he won't get worried."
"I'll take you to him, Hana. I don't want you to get lost."
Finding Taeyang and the others just relaxing on either the floor or the chairs catching their breath.
"OPPA!!"
I ran giving Taeyang the biggest hug ever. He was a little surprised because we were still getting to know each other. But being away from him with a bunch of strangers was a little overwhelming for one day. He was the only one I really knew.
"Did you have fun, Hana?"
"Yes oppa. You did amazing!"
"What about me Hana? Didn't I do amazing too?" Daesung asked.
"And me too? I worked the hardest out of these old guys," said Seungri (the maknae).
I looked at them all while they gave me the sweetest pouty faces.
"Yes! Big Bang was my favorite part of the concert!"
They all seemed to smile after that.
After a little joking around they finally decided to get ready to go back home. It was really late and according to T.O.P. (Seung-Hyun), it was past my bedtime. I stuck my tongue out at T.O.P and waited in the hall.
"Bye Hana!! See you later." Haru said while being carried out by her dad.
I waved back and just watched them leave. I was in deep thought what a dad was like then. If they all were like Tablo.
"What are you staring at Hana?" Taeyang oppa asked.
"AHH!! YOU SCARED ME OPPA!!"
"I was calling you but you weren't answering. So what are you looking at?"
"I wish appa was alive so I know what having a dad was like. Look at Tablo and Haru. I want that. Did you know they wore matching rings so he could find her out in the audience?"
I then turned to walk out with the guys until Taeyang oppa picked me up like how Tablo was carrying Haru.
"I know this is all new for you, Hana. This whole guardianship is new for me as well. But I love you little sister and if you want to know what having an appa is like then I'll try my best to be a father figure for you."
"Can T.O.P. be the eomma then?"
I then heard a deep laugh behind us with the whole group watching.
"Do I sound like a woman and wear a dress?" TOP said while smiling.
"You don't sound like a eomma but you act like my eomma."
TOP smiled
"Fine...I'll be the eomma."
I finally have my family. A little dysfunctional and unconventional. But still a family.
"So T.O.P. is the mom. Taeyang oppa is the dad. G-Dragon is the big sister because you can help me style my hair! Hehe. And Daesung and Seungri are the older brothers."
They all gave me a hug and loud kisses on my cheek. Once they all headed to leave, I whispered to Taeyang,
"You'll always be my true oppa though."
