You were welcomed with the aroma of food when you came home, earning a confused look from your mother towards you.
You shrugged carelessly and travelled to the kitchen where she followed you, wondering who was making food at this time in the night; especially after your mum left food for your siblings.

"Liz?" Your mother asked, seeing your sister in front of the stove.
You took a seat on your large kitchen dining table, huffing while lazily resting your head upon your open palm.

"Oh," she jumped lightly, "why are you back so early it's only 6.30?" She replied, concentrated on stirring the contents in the pan that was on the stove, which you suspected was soup from the tomato smell.
"Y/n had a headache and she wanted to come home."
"Aha. Loser" she teased.

Thinking that she couldn't see you, you stuck your tongue out at her, making a face.
"I know your sticking your tongue out at me y/n" she laughed, her back still facing you. You stopped what you were doing, impressed for a second, but later rolled your eyes.

"Liz, why are you cooking? I left you food to eat" your mum placed down her purse on the kitchen table, shortly followed by heading over to Liz to see what she was cooking.

"Yeah and Mark ate it all" she scoffed.
"I left enough for the both of you. He ate it all?!"
"Yup. Which is why I grounded that dumbass" she said proudly.
"You are a horrible sister, Liz" your mother hit your sisters' shoulder playfully.
She smiled sheepishly and shrugged her shoulders.

"Ok, your father and I are heading upstairs to get some sleep. Don't do anything stupid. Goodnight"
You found it funny how she said 'don't do anything stupid' to her adult children staying peacefully at home in the kitchen.

"Night mum" you and Liz didn't bother saying goodnight to your dad seeing as he was already upstairs and probably already in bed.
Now it was just you and Liz in the kitchen.
You heard the click of the stove turning off, and Liz took the seat next to you, scraping the chair against the floor.

"Alright. Tell me"
She was that kind of sister who knew something was up just by one look at you.
Or, maybe you were just a bit obvious.

You took a deep breath out.
"I don't want to marry this guy. He's a jerk and I don't like him."
"You can't keep saying that. 'I don't want to marry this guy'" she air quoted with her fingers, mocking your voice "you've already set the deal that you are going to marry him"
"I know, I know. It's just.." you contemplated whether you should tell Liz what really struck your bad side today.
"It's just?..." she urged you to continue.

"We were in the car together driving to the restaurant and he said something that actually kind of hurt me. I asked him why he didn't hate this as much as I do, I mean..all the flirting doesn't really scream I don't want to marry you." She nodded "And he said why would you think I don't hate this, maybe even more than you..I'm only marrying you because you're my best bet. And nothing more" you recited his exact words with your voice unstable of the thought. "Can we really not get out of this situation?" You groaned.
"Well...I probably shouldn't be telling you this but.." Liz sucked in her lips.

You waiting in anticipation, leaning forward in your chair.
"You can't divorce, well you can but you'd have to wait a year. There is an alternate way: you can have your marriage annulled."
Your eyebrows pushed together, "What the hell does that mean?"
"Ugh, how are you even 22 years old. It's basically a divorce. Except with annulment, you don't have to wait a year. You can have your marriage annulled at any time, even after the wedding."
"Hell to the yes! I'm saved!" You celebrated, almost jumping up from your seat from such happiness.
"Wait wait, slow down there. You can only have your marriage annulled under certain conditions"
You moaned in frustration.

"I don't know all of them off by heart, so go and search it up for yourself. But if you do decide to annul your marriage, which I don't know why you would I mean it's the Park Jimin here even if he is a brat," she scoffed laughed and you rolled your eyes "you didn't hear it from me. Ok?"
"Yeah. Thanks, Liz"
"I also don't know how you're going to hide it from mum and dad, not to mention the Park's as well"
Your lips quirked to the side, "yeah...you're right. But, I guess that's something to worry about for a later time"

"Besides that, thank you Liz" You hugged her and left her to go do your research straight away.
You had changed into something much more comfortable and immediately after you got your computer out and did your 'homework.'

~

You woke up early the next day.
Like 6 am early which you are not used to, being a 'Just hit snooze one more time' kind of guilty person.
There's a reason as to why you woke up so early however; because you wanted to ask your dad if he could take you to his work place so you could talk to Jimin.

"Why would you want to come to work with me?" Your dad quizzically asked while grabbing his suitcase from the stairs.
"I just..wanna apologise to Jimin for yesterday" you fibbed for the second time this week.
He smiled at the mention of your soon to be husband, "Of course I'll take you with me"

~

You reached his company building and was astonished as to how big it was.
Your dad parked the car in a packed parking lot underneath the building. It was quite average, concrete floors and walls, pillars planted around the area.
His parking space was reserved, a gold plaque read his name and underneath CEO was engraved.
You were surprised to see a group of men in black surrounding your car protectively as there was infact 2 feet of space for them to stand.

Hesitantly, you got out from the car. You watched them the entire time, and they didn't even move a muscle.
"Don't worry, they're not going to hurt you" your dad remarked funnily, walking nearer to the boot of the car.

"I know but..do they even move" you bent down, placing your hands on your knees, looking up at one man in particular who had black shades on.
"Is this the daughter of yours that has a high IQ?" he asked in a deep, emotionless tone.

You gasped jumping back and almost hit the car, terrified.
You heard your dad burst into laughter while the shades man chuckled silently.

~

Your dads entourage followed you and your dad all the way from when you exited the car, to when you reached the hall leading to the door to Jimins office.

His work place was bustling with workers, all dressed so formally, and though you were also wearing work attire - a simple black pencil skirt with a matching fitted blazer with a white shirt, accented with two lines of frills - you still felt like the odd one out.

"His office is there" your dad pointed to a set of oak wooden doors down the hall.
"When you finish talking to him, ask him the way out as I'll be in a meeting"
"Ok dad"
"Good luck sweetie." He pecked your head and left the other way, his escorts following behind him in in a marching band.

Turning to where your location was, you smiled politely at a random stranger you passed that looked at you, confused - probably because of your resemblance with your dad - as you made your way to Jimin office.

After reaching the designated spot your father showed you, you puckered your lips, raising an eyebrow in a 'wow really' emotion while your arms lay crossed against your chest.

The golden engraved sign upon the door read

'Park Jimin - COO'

Wanting to get this over with as quickly as you could, taking a deep breath, you knocked twice on the door.

"Come in" his voice shouted.

For some reason you felt as if you had missed that angelic voice of his.
No, are you kidding snap out of it.

Ignoring the - what you wanted to say, false - thought you just had, you pushed the door open.

"What-" he started, raising his head from the numerous papers on his desk. You observed him the second you stepped into his office; just wearing his dress shirt, waist coat and tie, his hair was slightly messy as he'd been running his hands through it, probably working his brain to death.
Though, you admit, he looked like so hardworking - a seriously hot look on him. You shook your head, pursing your lips as his eyebrows shot up in surprise.

  "Oh..y/n?"
He was shocked to see you, but his eyes suddenly bounced up and down at what you were wearing, slowly putting his pen on the table.

"I wanted to talk to you" your hand travelled and rubbed your neck out of nervous habit.
"S-Sure. Take a seat" He averted his gaze to the cushioned leather seat directly opposite him and back to you.

Your heels clicked against the marble floor - a theme in this work place - as you made your way over to him.
He couldn't help but stare at your pencil skirt hugging your curves just perfectly. The way your hips moved with every step you took, how the hem of the skirt sat at just the right place on your waist.
Your whole outfit made you look like a completely different, classy business woman, and Jimin was fond of these clothes on you.

You sat down on the comfy looking chair in front of his sizeable desk.
He cleared his throat, eyes still locked on you, probably daydreaming, wondering what on earth you would possibly want to say to him.
You remained silent, looking off to the side with your head still, biting your lips.

  "Could we..mh hmm..speak in private?"
"O-of course."

He shooed away the male bodyguards who stood at every corner of the room.
They bowed and left the room, shutting the door close all the way.

"What did you want to talk about?" Jimin pushed aside the pile of paperwork in a not so subtle way, giving you all his attention.
"Look; you don't like the idea of us marrying as much as I do." You pursed your lips "You made that very clear last night" you snapped.

His lips parted, though no words came out.

"So, I did some research after dinner. And we can divorce after we marry"
"But..you have to wait a year for a divorce" he refuted.
You smirked, "Which is why we're not going to divorce. We're going to have our marriage annulled."
"Annulled? But, doesn't your marriage have to fall under certain conditions to follow through with that?"
"Yes. If our marriage is voidable and falls under any of the reasons of: the woman was pregnant by another man when you got married. You did not properly consent, in other words you were drunk or forced into it. Or, it was not consummated - you have not had sex with the person you married since the wedding."
"Wow. You really did do your research didn't you?" He smiled smugly.
"Yea. And we can have an annulment under.." your leg tapped against the floor nervously "the last reason.." you mumbled.
"You mean..the sex one?" He chuckled.
You nodded.
"You think you can really resist having sex with me when we marry?" He leaned forward, putting the length of his forearm on the table in an intimidating yet sexy way, the corner of his lips turned up.

"Is that even a question? Of course I can" you half scoffed half laughed, feeling suddenly hot in the cool room.
"If you say so y/n." He, huffed leaning back into his chair, "Now, do you really want this?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way. I know I won't be falling for you anytime soon, no matter how many flirtatious comments you make" you stated confidently.
"Fine, baby. We'll have an annulment"
"We will"
You shook hands - you trying not to let your blush get the best of you with the non-intimate contact - and you paced over to the door.
"Oh, y/n?"
You immediately turned around, your hair flipping femininely, a soft and innocent expression on your face.
Jimin hesitated, as if he had lost his voice again and finally regained the ability to talk.

  "The weddings in 3 months"
You nodded and left the room.
When you were outside his office you realised-

Shit. I forgot to ask him the way out.
