"Oh you're still alive?" Jokes Miyoko
"Welcome Home, Mina." Greeted Reimako cheerfully.
It's been a month since I started living at the Famille' me and my housemates are awkward at first but soon they started to warm up to me.
(It feels like I've gotten used to living here.)
It was a bit bumpy at first, I was never sure whether things would work out.
But now it's like I've and them gotten completely used to me living here.
(I'm getting along so well with everyone here...)
(I'm glad Miyoko invited and suggested everyone to accept the only guy living in a all girls apartment.)
"Reimako, we're do you want me to put the shopping bags?"
"Oh, kindly put it in the kitchen table, thank you Mina." She replied kindly.
"Hey, Mina."
As I set the shopping bags down, Miyoko speaks out.
"Ms.Mikahara I mean Tegemi was looking for you before." She continued.
"Ms.Mikahara was?"
"Yes, she had something for you to do."
"Really? I'll go and find her." I replied.
"If you don't go quickly she'll kick you out of your room."
"Huh? Why? Did she said that?"
"No, but I might suggest Tegemi to do that." She grins.
(You plucking asshole.) "Why are we friend?"
I hurriedly went upstairs and knock on her room.
"Ms.Mikahara, it's me, Minamino."
"Ah, Mina?" she peeks on the slightly opened door unlatched the chain lock and open the door.
"Come, in."
"Excuse me for intruding..."
"Mina, this isn't a school staff room." she giggled.
"You don't need to be so formal about it."
"Oh! Right, ahahaha..."
She guided me to her study table there her laptop was open on it is an excel presentation at list of some kind.
Tegemi Mikahara beckons me toward her.
"What is it?"
"Umm..."
She smiled at me gently.
"I know it's been sudden, but Mina you've been here for almost a month now."
"Have you gotten used to life here now?" she curiously asked.
"Yes, I've been having lots of fun recently."
"That's good."
"I hear you just landed a part time job in the near convenient store and been helping around the house a lot too."
"Of course, it's the least I can do for letting me live here."
"Hehe, and so far i'm not regretting that decision since you're quite reliable."
She smiles sweetly.
Then she continued.
"And, Mina..."
"I've got something I'd like you to help me out with regarding the Famille'."
"Yes, What is it? I'd be happy to help anyway I can."
"So, from today..."
"Will you fill in for me, as the landlord?"
"Huh?!"
(Filling her up? Wait that sound wrong , filling in for her as the landlord?)
"I'm sorry, What?!"
"It's alright, don't get so worked up. It's not that a big of a deal you know."
After saying that Tegemi looks a bit worried.
"I've been really busy lately, balancing between being the university physician at your school and at the biggest private hospital here in White dove City, I haven't been able to spend much time on managing the Famille'.
"So I was hoping you'd be able to help a bit around here."
(Well, that's understandable...)
It was a bit of a surprise to be called a landlord but helping out Ms.Mikahara is fine.
"I can manage all the repairs and we don't have problems with the other members of the Famille' since they'd never broke any house rules and we're like a family here but monetary stuff like managing the finances, paying the bills managing the bills is a bit too much for me, so if it's okay with you I'd ask Raika and Reimako's help." I explained.
"Wow, just as expected you've given a lot of thoughts into this." She replied in amazement.
"In the month we've been living together I feel like I've been able to count on you, and I was not wrong to think that."
"T-Thank you..." I replied a bit embarrassed on what she just said.
I couldn't help but become happy at her words.
"I'd leave it to you then?"
(If she says it like that, of course!)
"It'll be my pleasure Ms.Mikahara."
"Thank you, Mina and one more favor." She said smiling sweetly.
"What is it?"
"Please stop being so formal with me, I'm flattered but you're kinda making me feel old, you know..." she said smiling awkwardly.
"Just call me, Tegemi like everyone in this house did, and besides you're the landlord now."
"If you don't mind then, T-Tegemi."
For some reason her face suddenly turn red.
"R-right..."Ahem!"
"I know this is sudden, but I'll explain a few things about the administration of this house."
"Yes, please."
"First, about the rent..."
Tegemi explains the rent and the electric charge and other bills that need to be paid for the Famille, she guides me to bulks of paper works and documents on her laptop about the finances of this house.
After a few hours.
"Do you understand, Mina?"
"Yes, but that's a lot of information for me to take in one day, do you mind if I study about this more and can I have a copy about those forms and documents you used to manage this house?" I asked while browsing to the papers.
"Of course, that's gonna be you're job from now on."
(She explains to me everything so well, and she's been very patience to me.)
"That's good, I know the Famille' and her children are in good hands."
She smiles happily.
Sitting side by side we are cramp up in her study table with papers filled up to the brim.
"Look here Mina, I'll teach you how to calculate theses..."
She pointed me to her laptop and shows me the excel documents she's been working up earlier.
And a few hours of that.
"Let's take a break shall we." She said while stretching to relieve some stress in her arms.
As she was about to stand up her feet was caught in one of the chairs leg, she was about to trip when I manage to catch her halfway and...
*Crash*
"Ouchie...Ms.Mikahara, are you okay?"
"There you go again being so..."
Our face are really close I can feel her warm breath on my lips she manage to support herself from the fall but on top of me and in a awkward position.
(She's so close, and she smells good, wait...)
"A-Are you alright?!" she said with flushed cheeks.
Our eyes met and we stare at each other which seems to be a minute but it almost lasted an eternity for me.
"Y-yeah how about you though, are you alright?"
"I'm sorry I tripped." She apologizes timidly while slowly standing up averting each other's gaze.
I try to push myself up when...
(What's this its' soft warm and feels nice...)
"M-Mina, would you be so kind and let go of my chest."
"Oh! God! I'm so sorry!" I didn't notice I was pushing her chest I thought I just supporting her shoulders.
I slide myself back and away as quickly I can in panic, not noticing the cabinet above me and.
*BLAGHS*
"Ouch!"
"Geez, Mina what are you doing?!" she said while dashing towards me and helping me to get up.
"S-Sorry I didn't mean to do that." I apologize sincerely.
"No worries just don't do that again okay, I mean it's been only a month and you're already sexually harassing me." She said smiling.
"N-No i-I'm sorry I didn't..."
"Ahahahaha, I'm just kidding you know." She giggled.
"You just manage to squeeze my bra you just basically touch the foam padding not my bare breast, it's not a big deal, Mina." She continued.
"W-why i...I'm sorry..."(I'm pretty sure that's not all I've touch..)
As I frantically apologize, Tegemi blushes and looks towards me.
(Is she angry?)
"It's okay, it was an accident right? Right?!"
"Right! Ma'am it's an accident I didn't mean to do that!"(she's smiling but I'm having a bad feeling about it)
The her face returns to its usual calm expression.
"Let's put all that behind us now, okay and besides it's my fault but me more careful with that hand of yours you lucky pervert."
"Ah...Yes, Yes!' (lucky pervert? I just earned a new title...)
(She might jokes about it but she handles that situation maturely.)
(That's just like her...)
"By the way, Mina..."
"You did save your work right?
(Oh crap, did I save it? Wait why is the lights off and the AC is not humming?)
And the laptops screen has gone completely blank.
"Because the powers out, it is announce that we're going to have a short power outage." She explains.
"Oh no!"
