(Someone turn the light on...it's so dark in here...)

(Where am I...?)

(I can't feel my...whole body.)

Someone is next to me, yelling something.

(Tegemi?)

"Mina!!! Mina !!!!"

"Huh?!"

"Te-Tegemi..."

"Mina! You're awake!"

When I open my eyes, I'm in a room I'm familiar with, I skip the hospital cliché in Rei arch though.

Tegemi is next to me, with tears flowing freely in her eyes.

"Mina...?"

I try to lift myself up to look around.

I flinch by sudden jolt of pain I felt.

"Ouchie!"

"Ah" Don't move you silly!"

"Good idea..."

"Tegemi...Where am i?"

"In the hospital."

I look around, and it certainly looks like a hospital. And I'm lying on a hospital bed.

"Mina, you protected me, from the car...don't you remember?"

(Oh, right that happened.)

"Are you alright though? I remember pushing you..."

"I'm okay, you saved me Mina, but you need to rest, stop moving around."

"That's good."

"It's not good!!!"

(huh? What is?)

Her loud voice echoes through the hospital room.

"You should be worrying about yourself, instead of thinking about me!"

"You were hit by a car!"

(Believe me I been through worse...but I can't tell her that.)

"I'm sorry..."I sullenly replied.

"No...I..."

She sighs in relief.

"No, I'm sorry I shouldn't be shouting at you, it's just, you could have died you know..."

She mutters in a sorrowful tone.

"There's nothing to apologize, Tegemi."

"I know, but you have to stop talking like that..."

"Okay..."

"You should get more rest, Mina."

"I'll just go and get your meds at the nurse's station, and get the result of your CT scan"

"Okay..." (Right she's a doctor after all...)

Afterwards, one of her colleague told me everything that happened.

If I had been one step slower...I could have really died.

But thankfully I'm still alive, just a few bumps and bruises and I should be able to go home that day.

Then, on the way back...

"Mina, are you really alright?"

"Yes, there's no need to worry, you confirmed it yourself right?"
