(During the night)

Tiffany was peacefully sleeping in her bed. A small smile was playing on her lips as she slept on. She would roll around slowly at she continued to rest. Above the blonde was Tapirmon who was perched on the top of the bed. The small dream bearer digimon, had his hands held together as he slept. A small stream of pink light was trailing down from his body, onto Tiffany.

The blonde slowly started to whisper out loud. "When time comes...the lady of dreams must die..." She rolls around in her sleep, and held a pillow close to her chest. "In order to prevent the destruction of everyone she loves..."

Tiffany grimaced, as it seem like Tapirmon's power slowly stopped having any effects on her. Tiffany slowly open her mouth, as if she was getting ready to scream. But her body stopped, as if someone clicked paused on a remote. Tiffany couldn't move, she was motionless as her mind was slowly getting a message.

(Tiffany's dream)

Tiffany once again found herself in a never ending room of darkness. Everywhere she look, only the empty void greeted her. Tiffany felt dread beginning to fill her. "Hello?!" She called out. But the only thing that bounced back to her ears was her own terrified voice.

She held a fist over her heart, as she slowly trudge through the darkness. As she walked. She continued to try to keep her eyes focused on the path in front of her. Maybe I could find some source of light. There has to be something...

Tiffany gasped as she noticed two speckles of light a small distance in front of her. The light slowly drew near her. And she took a step back in fear. When she noticed that the golden lights. Were small narrowed golden eyes. The eyes were chilling to her core, as if she could feel it piercing into her very core. "We meet again...Lady of dreams." A male voice growled within the darkness.

The male voice sounded as if it was from a young man. But the eyes were looking up at her. As if the figure in front of her was a small child. Tiffany held her fist closer to her heart as she stared down at this being. "Who...who are you?" she asked cautiously.

The figure stands within in the shadows. As if it was some sort of cloak to him. He shook his head, as if he was a horse that was disobedient to its rider. "That does not matter." He said harshly. He narrowed his eyes further into slits. "What does matter is that you listen to me now."

Tiffany bit her lip as she stared at him closely. She didn't know what to say. If she should run away from this unknown creature. She stood her ground and attempted to nod proudly. But it only showed as a weak gesture.

"You think you are changing things for the better. But you are only making things worse! The black heart that Tapirmon once said you have, is only becoming darker." The creature smirks amongst the blackness. But Tiffany could still make out the features of his smug look. "This little game needs to end." He snapped.

Tiffany tried to speak. But she could only stare down at her feet. The blonde couldn't move, it was as if she was being held down. She bit her lip as tears began to stream down her face. I...I thought I was changing. I thought I was becoming someone...someone for the better.

The Digimon in front of her laughed coldly. "You are going to get everyone you love killed. Not only that this world that you were pulled in is going to be destroyed by your very hand!"

Tiffany's eyes shook with fear. How could this thing know that? "How...How-?"

"How do I know?" He snickered. "I can see all time. So many time lines running along side one another. So many different paths forming in front of my very eyes. And no matter the path I see you take. It always ends up the same." He closes his eyes for a moment, as if he was reviewing the information he was telling her. "With the destruction of everything."

Tiffany balled her fist. She recalled Skylar helping her when she was caught up in darkness before. "Your wrong!" She cried. She took a step forward as she threw her hand back. Tears continue to flow down past her cheeks. "I have changed!" She snapped. She closed her eyes as she continued to scream. "I am not the same stupid girl I once was! I have become a better person. And I saved the lives of two people! Haru and Jin!"

"Those two were supposed to die!" He roared. He shook his head as he let out a low guttural growl. "No one should be allowed to mess with time! Time must flow out the way it was attended to do. I can't allow you to mess with it any longer. The cost of everything is at risk!"

Tiffany lost her words. She didn't know what to say at this. The creature shook his head. "You want to say you lost that dark heart of yours?" The creature barked out another laugh. "Don't prove it to me then. Prove it to the other digimon you will meet along the way. Digimon that sent Tapirmon after you, to end your meaningless life, prove it to the crest of light!"

The creature didn't say anything. He allowed these words to set in. Tiffany had watched the rest of Digimon adventure. And was surprised to hear about the information about the crest of light. How could she prove herself to a crest, that she belonged to Kari?

"Foolish girl! Just because the crest of light was designed for a Digi destined in another dimension, does not mean that the crest does not offer their powers to other chosen children." Another fit of laughter came from the Digimon. "But that is the joke isn't it? You don't even deserve to bear that title. You are nothing more than a mere child sticking her nose where it doesn't belong."

"So, do me a favor." He spoke again as both of their eyes met. "End this game. Destroy yourself before you destroy everyone else you love! End this project of the evil man that forced you into this world! End his plans! It must end with you Lady of dreams!"

As he spoke venom filled every single word in his voice. He pounced at her. Tiffany could have sworn that she saw silver glitter from the darkness. His golden eyes coming closer to her. She closed her eyes as she felt metal pierce her neck. Images started to flash in her mind. Images of people she knew, and darkness ahead.

She witnessed Leomon on the ground, a look of horror plastered on his face. As he was slowly being deleted in yellow data. She watched as Jeri screamed in fear as she shook her head back and forth. She couldn't turn away as her friends and Digimon that she learns to accept as apart of her friends, were all on the ground in front of her covered in blood, and even appeared to have broken limps. And a girl stood amongst them. This girl was laughing at what she had done. And that girl happened to be her.

Tiffany shot up in her bed. She was shock at what she had just witnessed. She looks out the window of her room. To see sunlight poking through. As if it was telling her. That she needed to start her day and get out of bed. Tapirmon flew down from where he usually slept and smiled at her. "Good morning sleepy head." He said with a warm smile.

Tiffany smiled at him for a moment. And took a deep breath. If she wanted to prove that thing wrong. And if she wanted to change the future. She needed to tell the truth. "Tapirmon I need to tell you something." She announced. Tapirmon titled his head. "What's that?" he asked slightly confused at this sudden announcement. "I am not from this world."

(Elsewhere)

Takato runs into the alley to get inside of his family bakery. He held onto his backpack strap. He raced inside the building and called out. "I'm home! Mom!" He shouted. The smell of fresh bread filled his nostrils. He loved living in a bakery.

He goes into his room and sets his bag down in his rolling chair. With that task done. Takato quietly walked back down the staircase. A soft grin was plastered on his face. When he reached the customer floor. Which his parents told him to call it. He noticed his mother was talking to Mrs. White. A nice woman who lived across the street in the apartment. She usually was the one to baby sit him, when his parents were out on 'date night'.

His mother was holding out a platter of freshly made deserts. "Go ahead have a free sample, they're only two dollars." His father nodded as he was restocking some supplies in the refrigerator they had. For milk, or frozen foods. "It is a new recipe that I have tried out. I think the cinnamon really packs in the extra flavor of the dough.

Knowing his parents were occupied with customers. He quickly raced into the kitchen. Already planning to take some snacks for him and his friends. He grabbed a few plastic bags and started to put in some of the dry pastry's that they had from the other day. "Another perfect crime. Hm, hm, hm, hm." Takato started to hum to himself as he continued to pack.

He carries his stuff to the door. A look of a master thief on his face. My parents won't expect a thing. "And now to slink away unnoticed." He twists the knob of the door.

"Takato!"

Takato stopped midway from turning the handle of the door. He fidgeted at the door. Trying to ponder a good lie to tell his mother. But all he could utter was a simple. "Uh..."

"What are you doing?" She asked as she walked into the kitchen from behind him. Her hands on her hip. As she knew what he was up to.

"Um, nothing, Mom."

"Uh huh. And would that nothing includes going out without doing your homework, again?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. I am not going to allow him to race off for a whole day, doing nothing again. His grades are dropping, and I am not going to have any more of this. How does he expect to move forward in his life? Hmm...I wonder if he is seeing a girl.

"I'm just going to the park." He protested.

Mrs. Matsuki grimaced at this. He is hiding something. "I'm constantly amazed by how much of your homework revolves around the park."

Takato turns on his heels of his feet. He had a frown on his face, as he look at his mother. "But Mom-"

"Don't 'but Mom' me, mister!" She snapped. She was beginning to get tired of her son's attempts of avoiding school. "You're going to be in college before you know it, you need to study once and a while, Takato, unless you plan on getting a degree in playing in the park."

Takato turns back to the door. "Hm." He twists the knob and throws open the door. "I'll be back later, and I'll do my homework then!" He shouted behind his shoulder. He shuts the door behind him and stands there for a minute. "Sheesh! She must've gotten her degree in nagging with a minor in yelling." He grumbled.

Takato started to race in the direction of the park. He held onto the paper bag of deserts close to his chest. As he was running the ground underneath his feet began to shake.

"Huh?" A few people said in surprise at the sudden incident.

Takato stopped running as he stood his ground. "Looks like another earthquake." He said aloud. "I wonder if there is something going on." He whispered to himself. Checking the area around him. To see if there were any Digimon. A limo speed past him, which caused his hair to stick up on end. "Geesh do people not know how to do the speed limit anymore?"

(Inside the limo)

'You got to be kidding me." Haru's mother complained to the limo driver. "I swear if you don't speed up, I will get light for the interview. I need to make sure that Ms. Nonaka will have a good outfit to wear! So, help me, you will lose your job for this!" She snapped angrily.

The limo driver was a middle-aged man. Who seem very kind as he had opened the door for Haru as she had gotten into the vehicle. He even had tried to tell her mother and her about a story, when he first started driving a limo around. But her mother wanted to be all business. No story time was needed for her important schedule.

Haru frowned as held onto Epipamon. The plant Digimon was holding her hands together in her lap. As she was staring out the window. I don't know how Haru does it. How could she follow along with her mother so willingly? Her mother was a very rude individual. And Haru was so kind and gentle.

Haru frowned as she looks over at her mother. "Um...mum." She tried to say out loud. This caused her mother to snap her head over to her. Anger filled her face. "What did I tell you about speaking to me?" She snapped. "If you don't speak properly. Don't speak at all!" She barred her teeth before she shook a finger. "It is not lady like!"

Haru nodded slowly. Holding back her tears as if there were a weight holding her down. She gripped the end of her skirt that she was holding, it was a life line to her. She took a deep breath and reached over to a notebook that was sitting to the right of her. She quietly wrote down. "I am sorry mother. I was just going to ask. Maybe you should apologize to the driver. He is doing his best. And wouldn't it be safer to drive slowly with these recent earthquakes?" she held up the book.

But her mother was paying her no mind. She was on her phone. Quickly speaking to someone. "Yes! I am going to be a little late. The limo driver is as slow as molasses!"

Haru slowly look down at Epipamon. The plant Digimon who was staring straight up at her. Haru wished she could peer into the plant Digimon's eyes. Because she would've felt some form of comfort if Epipamon could stare into her eyes with her own. But that mask she wore prevented that.

(Henry's apartment)

Suzie was sitting down in a blue comforter in the living room. She held her eyes shut tightly as she was holding onto Terriermon for dear life. The shaking soon subsided, and she asked out in a low sob. "Henry is it over?"

Henry slowly look out the window and nodded. The sounds of sirens filled the air from down below. "I think so, yes." He tried to reassure her.

Suzie sighed in relief, as she absent mildly patted Terriermon on top of his head. "Next time make it be over sooner." She announced sadly.

"And now, another exclusive channel one earthquake report." The anchorman from the television announced. This caught Henry's attention causing him to quickly turn around from where he was. To face the television. "The recent earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 4.0. Seismologists are having trouble pinpointing the epicenter citing strange readings."

Henry eyes grew wide at this news. "Uh!" Henry took a few seconds until realization struck him. He placed a hand to his chin as he slowly hummed to himself. "Hm..." I wonder if those strange readings were caused by digimon.
As he was thinking this, he walks over to his little sister who was still shaking in fear. Or if the earthquake was. I'd better check this out. Henry holds his hands out towards her.

Suzie shakes her head as she held tightly to Terriermon. "No." She began to sob.

"Suzie, give him to me." Henry instructed still holding his hands out for his partner digimon.

"No, Tewwiermon will protect me."

"I've got to go out for a while, you'll be fine without him."

Suzie began to cry in Terriermon's fur. "I want daddy."

"He's at work, now let go."

"Uh, uh!" She shook her head as she held on tightly to the rookie digimon.

"Come on Suzie!" He spat angrily. Suzie stared in shock at her older brother. She slowly blinked and whispered. "Uh." She begans to frown as tears slowly started to form in the corner of her eyes. Henry takes this time to take Terriermon and starts to leave while Suzie curls into a fetal position and cries.

"I wish you weren't my brother." She sobbed.

Henry stared down at the ground. Feeling terrible for what he just did. "I'm sorry Suzie, I-I gotta go." He whispered.

(City)

Jin was walking quietly down the city streets. He had stopped a while back to stare around the city. As it shook. But it truly didn't bother him. He put his hands in his pockets and frowned when his left finger tips brushed against the smooth metallic of his D-power.

"Why does he have to mess with my stuff?" He grumbled to himself. As he recalled his partner Digimon Kotemon moving around his old inventions. Inventions that his mother used to help him with. Before...before she divorced his father. To marry a man that she had been seeing in secret. How could his mother due to that...not only to his father? But to him as well?

Jin frowned as he lost himself in his own trance of thought. Kotemon was only interested. And instead of explaining himself about what those devices were. He only bit his digimon head off. Kotemon always seem to be so left out...and I do that to him personally. Jin bit his lip. Am I acting like how my mother treated me when she left?

"I need to get back home and apologize to Kotemon" He said aloud. When he got home, Jin noticed that his father was out. He probably was at work or something for that matter. Jin quietly walked over to his room and knocked on the close door. His sign to Kotemon that it was just him. "Kotemon" he said out loud before he opens the room.

Jin gasped when he entered the room. When he noticed that the window to his room was wide open. And Kotemon was nowhere to be seen. And staring at his PlayStation that he had left on. When he raced out of his house. Kotemon had typed a message out for him. "I am done with you Jin. I don't want to be your partner anymore!"

Jin quickly took out his cell phone and quickly texted Haru. "Haru, where are you?! I need your help!"

(On the street. An hour after Henry left his apartment)

Terriermon shook his head as he held onto Henry's shoulder. "You always say I don't have any tact, Henry, but I don't know if I've ever been that mean." He said to him with a worried look.

Henry sighs as he puts his hands in his pocket. He knew Terriermon was right. But Susie just didn't understand the situation.

"So, what's the matter, Henry?"

"What?" He said trying to keep his eyes straight forward. He was trying to ignore the small rookie Digimon. But having bad luck.

"Well I know you wouldn't act this way if everything were fine." He said aloud. This caused Henry to stop in his tracks. Realizing that Terriermon made a valid point. "Huh?" Henry turns his head around to look behind back at the city.

"Jeez, what's the matter now?" Terriermon asked a little huffy. Before he saw what Henry saw. "Huh?"

Henry started to walk over to a convince store where a poster was upfront on the glass window.

"How many problems can one guy have at the same time?" Terriermon asked out loud, as he held out his tiny little hand.

Henry eyes grew wide when he noticed the poster. "Look at that." He whispered in disbelief.

Terriermon blinks as he stares at the poster. Not completely understand what was going through his tamer's head. "O-kay...you have a problem with that poster?"

Henry bows in the doorway.

A woman with blonde hair was staring back at him with a happy smile from inside the store. She happens to be the convince store owner. "Oh! Hello Henry."

Henry pointed to the poster on the window. "Hi, can I borrow that chart?" He asked politely.

A girl's voice laughed from his right. This caught Henry's attention. He turned in the girl's direction to see Rika and her grandmother heading his way. "I thought guys only liked posters with girls in bikinis." She teased him.

Henry rolled his eyes. "It just reminded me of something. What are you two doing?" He asked with a soft smile.

Rika sighed as she placed her hands on her hips. "Going shopping again."

Rika's Grandma nodded as she chuckled a little to herself. "All she owns is jeans."

Henry chuckled a little with her. "Right." He turns to look over at Rika and asked her. "Hey, I was gonna go meet Takato and the others at the park, wanna come with me, Rika?"

Rika turns to her Grandma with a raised eyebrow and a hopeful smile.

Rika's Grandma smiled at the idea. And nodded quickly. "I'll cover for you."

"Thanks, Grandma."

Her Grandma's cell rings. "Hm?" She pulls her cell phone out of her purse. "Oh." She places the phone to her ear and answered. "Hello?"

"So?" Rumiko's excited voice came from the other line.

"She only wanted more jeans."

Rumiko sighed a little in annoyance. "Put her on."

She hands Rika the phone. "Your Mom." She informed her with a little frown.

Rika rolled her eyes as she places the phone to her ear. "I don't like dresses." She announced quickly.

Rumiko didn't really seem to catch what her daughter said. Because she shrugged it off and said. "How about some post-shopping shopping? When I get done here with my photoshoot?"

Rika groaned at what her mother was telling her. "Oh..."

"It's a great way to relax."

Rika shook her head. "Sorry, but I'm going to the park."

"Th-the park? But, honey you can't do any shopping there." She laughed not understanding her daughter was turning her down.

Rika narrowed her eyes before she answered her. "Look mother, I've got plans with my friends, okay." Rika hands her grandmother her phone back.

"Bye." Henry said with a wave. Before him and Rika raced off without another word.

Rika's Grandma placed the phone back to her ear. "Hi Rumiko, it's me."

"Mom, what am I gonna do with her?" She asked in a disappointed tone.

Rika's Grandma waved her statement off. "Oh, honey she's fine, she's just at that age where her friends are more important than her looks." She tried reassuring her.

Rumiko sounded exasperated at this idea. "What? More important than her looks? But. What? I mean she- oh, oh no, I think I'm gonna faint."

(At the photoshoot)

A group of people caught Rumiko as she almost fell to the floor. Her phone falling to the floor with a small clink. And Haru's mother already raced to the scene already yelling orders to some workers around the place. "Go get some Rumiko some water!" She pointed to another person. "And get some lighting in here, do you really think she will took photos in these conditions?!" She asked angrily.

Haru stood in the back trying to stay away from the chaos. Epipamon was still in her arms. "Gosh...your mom can sure be pushy." Epipamon said out loud. Haru frowned at this. Because she knew it was true. But she didn't always act like that. She used to be very kind and gentle. But when her father passed away. Haru always felt like her mother tried to be someone she was not.

Haru felt a buzz from her cell phone. And noticed that someone had recently texted her. She checked the message and was surprised to see Jin had messaged her. She felt relieved to see that he had messaged her. Jin thank god.

She read over his message and quickly sent him a message back. "I will meet you at the bridge." She sent the message and pocketed her phone. Epipamon stared up at Haru. "Who was that?" she asked. Haru mouthed Jin's name, and the plant digimon nodded.

Haru quickly started to walk away from the scene that her mother was causing. Not realizing her mother was staring after her. The black-haired woman was staring angrily after her. "Where does she think she is going?" She snapped. She handed a browned haired woman her clipboard. "You take this!" She commanded. "I need to go after my terrible excuse of a daughter."

(Elsewhere)

Rika and Henry run across a bridge.

Under the bridge, deep inside is Impmon was sitting up against a wall. The imp digimon appeared to be badly injured. "I bet those human lovin' digi-slaves and their partners are laughin' it up thinkin' about me takin' it on the chin from that mule, Indramon. Everyone hates me. I'd hate me too if I were everyone. Just a loser who can't...digivolve."

(At the hideout.)

Takato, Tiffany, Blaine and Julia were all watching Kazu and Kenta playing a card game. While Guilmon with Calumon on top of his head watched from the bushes.

Tiffany was smiling softly as she held Tapirmon close to her chest. The dream bearer Digimon was frowning to himself. His mind still set on what Tiffany had told him this morning. "I am not from this world"

(earlier)

"What do you mean?" Tapirmon asked. Tiffany frowned when he asked this. She sighed and sat at the edge of her bed. "You see...I don't really know how it happen. But I was just at the mall. Trying to buy some new clothes. Until I ran into Calumon. She...and I were pulled into some sort of portal that took us into this universe. But...I guess I am not supposed to be here." She murmured sadly.

Tapirmon tilted his head. "What do you mean?" he asked puzzled. Tiffany gripped the ends of her pajamas paints tightly. She informed Tapirmon what happened to her in her dream. And Tapirmon could only narrowing his eyes. A Digimon was attacking his partner and there was nothing he could do about it.

"He is wrong Tiffany. Your heart has changed. I can tell. Your heart has become pure." He tried to reassure her. Tiffany tried to softly smile at him. "Yeah...I guess so." She tried saying. But he could hear doubt in her voice. She took a shaky breath. "I need to tell the others."

Tapirmon nodded. "That's a good idea. When everyone is all together." He agreed.

(Present)

If I ever run into that Digimon who caused harm to my tamer. I will personally end him. Tapirmon thought angrily to himself.

"Looks like I win again, I rule." Kazu said with a smug smile.

Kenta fell back into the grass. A frown plastered on his face. "Oh man, I want a real digimon." He complained.

Julia giggled at this. "Oh, come on Kazu. Don't feel left out." She tried reassuring him. "You and Kenta have always helped the team out." A few of the others gave her a questioning look. She sighed. "In some ways."

Pansamon raised an eyebrow. "Do you both really think your cut out for it?" He asked with doubt in his voice.

Gatomon nodded. "It isn't as great as you both make it out to be." She informed them. "Being a tamer is no walk in the park."

Kazu nodded at the two feline Digimon. "I sure know I am cut out for it! And I've been practicing, look." Kazu held out a card as he started to swipe it through an imaginary D-power. "Digi-Modify! Matrix Digivolution Activate! What do ya say guys, impressive, huh?" He asked staring at the tamers with a hopeful look.

Blaine sweat dropped as he shrugged his shoulders. "Not bad, I guess."

Guilmon and Calumon both blink as they stare at Kazu. Wondering why he was posing like a power ranger. "Uh..."

Kenta stared over at the four tamers and asked with a frown. "So tell me something, why do you all think you get to have a digimon but the rest of us don't, hmm?"

The four of them exchanged looks. Not knowing what to say. Until Julia smiled and picked up Pansamon. She started to rub her hand through his soft purple fur. "Well...I think I was chosen for some reason. And you know. I may never know that reason. But to be honest, I am going to give it my all. I my not be the wisest or the bravest, but I will always give it my all."

Blaine nodded. "I think that is a very good outlook, in thinking sis."

Takato smirked as he shrugged at his friends. "Hm, I guess the digimon could just tell I'm superior."

Tiffany shook her head at this. She remained quiet. Not knowing what to say. Because the words from the creature in her dream. Flashed in her head. "That's the thing isn't it. You don't even deserve to be called a digidestned. You're just a mere child sticking her nose where it doesn't belong!"

Kenta rolled his eyes. "You wish."

Takato waved his hand, trying to calm his friend. "Hey, I bet there are tons of digimon like Leomon and the more they keep showing up the better chance there is that one of them will pick you as a partner." He tried reassuring him.

Blaine sweat dropped at the mention of Leomon. "Well don't forget that Leomon isn't technically Jeri's partner."

Everyone frowned at this. All of them recalling how depressed Jeri was over that situation.

Kazu sits down in the grass. "Yeah, but it'd be cool to have one even for a little while."

Takato eyes grew wide as he looks on ahead. "Uh-oh." Everyone eyes followed Takato's. Except for Kazu who was looking in the opposite direction. Jeri was standing a few paces from the rest of the group.

"What's eating you, Takato?" Kazu asked a little puzzled.

"That."

Kazu turns his head and sees Jeri looking at the ground sadly. "Huh?"

Takato frowns when he notices that Jeri still looked a little upset. "Hey what's wrong, Jeri?"

She picks her head up and took a deep breathe before she gained a determined look.

Kazu waved her over. "Come over already, don't be shy." He said while waving her on over.

Jeri took a deep breath, before she marched over to everyone else. As she was doing this. She pulled a huge deck of cards out of her purse and showed it to everyone.

Julia's eyes grew wide at the sight of her deck. "Oh, wow Jeri! I didn't know you were interested in collecting the cards." She said in amazement.

As if she didn't hear her friend. Jeri stared between Takato, Kazu and Kenta. "I wanna learn how to play the card game, now who's gonna teach me how to use these?"

She holds out her cards and there's about three or four decks worth.

Kenta nearly fell back in surprise. "Whoa!'

Kazu stared up at the brown-haired girl in disbelief. "Jeri."

Jeri raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, don't I have enough cards or something?" She asked the two boys.

Blaine shook his head. "No, they're both just surprised to see that your interested in this kind of thing." He exclaimed. Jeri look up at the green haired boy. "Of course, I am. I really want to help you and everyone else out. Anyway, I can. So, do I have enough cards?" she asked once again. Her attention going back to Kazu and Kenta.

"I'd say you got plenty." Kenta said as he readjusted his glasses. Tiffany felt like that was an understatement. She didn't even have that many cards. She only carried a few that she knew would help Tapirmon, or his higher-level forms. Do better in battle.

Kazu blinked at the huge deck. "Wow. What'd you do, go out and spend your whole allowance?" He started to shuffle through her deck, looking through all her cards.

Kenta nodded as he started to peer over Kazu's shoulder. "Yeah and somebody else's too, it looks like."

Takato could only blink as he stared up at Jeri. "I've got half that."

Julia quickly nodded. "My deck doesn't even come close to yours." She giggled a little.

Kazu broke the uneasiness as he held up a card quickly. "Hey, I've been lookin' for this one forever."

Kenta raised an eyebrow. Trying to see the card he was holding. "Which one does she have?"

Jeri narrowed her eyes. "Careful they're alphabetized."

Kazu quickly pulled out his deck and selected three, rather quick. "Jeri, why don't you trade me this card for three of mine, okay?"

"Um..." Jeri sweat dropped. Never really having to deal with this kind of situation before. Tiffany felt her pain. Due to her only softly smiling.

Kenta scoffed at Kazu's deal. "Three cards, I'll give you five of mine."

Jeri shook her head. "I don't wanna trade, I wanna learn how to play."

Kazu blinked and said with a determined look. "I'll throw in three free lessons, what do ya say?"

Kenta nodded. "Me too."

Takato leans in. "Uh, you're drooling guys."

"Learn from someone who can really play." Rika's voice came from a distance. Everyone quickly looks over to see Rika, Henry and Terriermon walking up the staircase. The three of them had soft smiles on their faces.

Kazu narrowed his eyes. "Hey I rock." He protested.

Kenta nodded to agree with him. "Yeah, right."

Tiffany placed a hand on her chin. "I think your best chance of learning how to play the card game, would be with Rika." She exclaimed. "Rika has more experience than all of us combined."

Blaine nodded to agree with her. "I can't disagree with that statement."

Jeri stared between the two. And smiled brightly. "Really!?" She smiled brightly as she quickly took her cards from Kazu and Kenta and raced over to Rika. Excitement filled her face, due to her wanting to know everything.

Kenta frowned as he watched Jeri raced off. "Aw."

Kazu face fell. As he quickly glanced over at Tiffany and Blaine. "Oh... You both had to ruin my chances of getting a rare card."

Jeri smiled as her and Rika started to walk away from the rest of the group. Down the staircase. "Thanks Rika, I don't know what to say."

Rika chuckled to herself. "Well I'm sure you'll think of something." They sit on the steps and Henry walks over to the others.

Rika smiles as she shuffles through Jeri's deck. "Okay, you've got attack cards, defense cards, and upgrade cards. Get familiar with the attack cards, we'll use them a lot." She exclaimed. Julia and Tiffany smiled to one another. Already happy for Jeri. Both recalling how Jeri was so lonely. And both were wishing that one day. Jeri would have a Digimon partner like them.

Kenta groaned as he stared between Rika and Jeri. "If she gets as good as Rika, we're gonna lose all our cards." He placed his chin in the palm of his hand.

Kazu sweat dropped as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Didn't you already lose most of your cards to me?"

Rika looks up from Jeri's deck and said with a smile. "It's always a good idea to keep a strong card in reserve." Rika blinked as she saw Jeri staring down the ground. A small frown on her face. "Huh?"

"Rika, do you think Leomon will ever come back?" Jeri asked sadly.

"Don't know, but if he doesn't you'll find a better digimon."

"Yeah."

Calumon jumps on Jeri's head with a giggle. "Hey there!"

Jeri stares up at the small in training digimon. "Uh."

Rika laughed at her reaction. "Like Calumon."

Jeri laughed along with her. "Don't think I didn't ask."

Henry puts down the poster. In front of the others.

Kazu blinked at the poster that was in front of him. Disappointment etched across his face. "What, no bikini girls?"

Julia and Tiffany both rolled his eyes at this statement. But shrugged it off as they both lean in to check the poster out.

"Doesn't this remind you guys of anything?" Henry asked his friends

Terriermon placed a claw to his cheeks. "Um, a petting zoo?"

Gatomon blinked at the poster. "Hmm...well I see some pictures of animals I could eat. A cow, I could have a burger, and a roster, some nice roasted chicken." She whispered to herself in a dreamy manner. "Gosh...I am beginning to sound like Guilmon and Pansamon. What's wrong with me?" Blaine sweat dropped. "Maybe it's because you skipped breakfast."

Takato snapped his fingers. "Wait I know, it's the Chinese Horoscope. Rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig." He looks down at Henry with a puzzled look. "So, what about it, Henry?"

"The Devas." Henry announced.

Everyone gasped at this news. Even Rika quickly snapped her head back to listen in at the mention of the word. "Huh?"

Tapirmon raised an eyebrow as he stared at Henry in surprise. "What do you mean?"

"Have you guys noticed that all of the Devas have had animal forms?"

Takato placed a hand to his chin and nodded. "Now that you mention it, yeah."

Henry stared to point to each individual animal on the poster. "I think there's a connection. Mihiramon-tiger, Sandiramon-snake, Sinduramon-rooster, Pajiramon-sheep, Vajramon-ox, Kumbhiramon-rat, Indramon-horse."

Rika walked, and Jeri walked over to listen in on the conversation. The red-haired girl had her arms crossed over her chest. "So, we've still gotta deal with a rabbit, a dragon, a monkey, a dog, and a pig."

Tiffany grimaced at the thought, that there were still five more devas still out there. What power could they possibly hold?

Kenta shook his head in disbelief. "There's five more of those things, how are you guys gonna beat 'em all?" He asked looking around at the group of tamers.

Kazu shrugged as he placed his hands behind his neck. "Yeah, it's too bad we all don't have digimon that can fight. Okay, I'm makin' myself depressed. And it's getting' late, I'm outta here."

Kenta nodded as he got up from the ground. "Yeah, we'll figure out how you can beat those Devas tomorrow. Wait a minute.:

Kazu quickly glanced over at his friend. "Huh? Why? What's the matter, Kenta?"

Kenta shrugged as he glanced down at the ground in front of everyone. "I don't really know, it's just...doesn't it seem like there's something really weird going on around here?"

He points at everyone's shadows.

'Something that's just, not right?" Everyone stared at their shadows in front of them. Not quite understanding what Kenta was getting at.

Kazu raised an eyebrow. "You mean the way you're pointing at everyone?"

Kenta rolled his eyes. "Duh, I was counting."

"You have to use your finger to read too?"

"No! Well yes, but that's not what I meant."

"Uh, does this count as weird?" Calumon announced to everyone. As she was staring off into the bushes. Were that weird kid was staring directly at her from on top of Jeri's head.

Everyone looks in Calumon's direction. Pansamon barred his fangs. "It's that creep again."

Takato raced over with everyone else. "It's that kid again."

"He defines weird!" Kazu grumbled.

"Why is he here?" Julia asked her brother. But Blaine could only shrug. "I have no idea." He whispered as he held Gatomon.

Jeri shook her head. "I think the bigger question is why is he staring at me?"

Kazu snickered. "Jeri's got a boyfriend!"

Blaine and Takato rolled their eyes. "Oh, just shut up Kazu." They said in unison. The two boys blinked at one another. Then shake it off. And Takato quickly look back at the weird boy. "What are you doing here anyway? What do you want?"

"Besides raising the level of strange in the park." Kazu grumbled. Everyone leaned in to see what the weird kid was going to say. When the weird kid inhaled deeply. And screamed at the top of his lungs. "Maka!!!!!"

Everyone covers their ears at the high pitch yell.

Calumon groaned. "That hurts more than Kenta's singing."

"Hey!"

The kid jumps down onto the bike path, his back facing them.

"That kid's a freak with a capital F!" Kenta grumbled.

Everyone was taken back when the kid quickly turned his head, one hundred and eighty degrees. His eyes casted at them all. Tiffany could only blink in horror at what she saw. "That's impossible." She whispered in disbelief.

Kenta grabbed his throat when he saw that. "Yuch, my neck hurts just looking at that."

Takato raised an eyebrow. "Maybe he's really a robot."

Jeri turn to her friends with her arms out stretch and a soft smile. "Come on, let's try talking to him, guys. He probably just wants to be friends."

Jeri runs after him

"Wait a minute, Jeri!" Takato called after her.

"Yeah, we have no idea who that guy is!?" Blaine added.

"Don't we have enough friends already?" Kazu grumbled as everyone else quickly followed her.

(Near the bridge)

Kotemon was sitting at the edge of the bridge. A soft breeze blew gently over the top of his mask. "I don't need Jin." He whispered to himself softly. He absently mildly kicked his legs as he sat.

The dragon digimon blinked as he heard something off to his right. And was taken back when he saw a Pansamon came into view. The rookie level feline digimon walked over to him with a curious look.

"A Pansamon" Kotemon whispered in surprise.

The feline nodded. "Hello." It said in a male voice.

"Do you happen to be Julia's partner digimon?" Kotemon asked puzzled.

The Pansamon shook his head. "No...I am actually looking for that Pansamon. Do you think you could help me?" He asked hopefully. Flicking his tail. Which showed his gray tail ring, which glittered in the sun set's radiant glow.

Kotemon blinked at this question. "Hmm...why do you need to find him so badly?" He asked.

The Pansamon smiled at him. "I am actually a brother of his. You see. We both got separated at Primary sector. We were supposed to hatch together with the rest of our brothers and sisters." He informed him. "I really need to find him, so I can bring him back to the rest of our family." He explained sadly.

Kotemon frowned behind his mask. He didn't like being separated from Jin to be honest. But Jin did get him angry...why should he get mad over those stupid pieces of junk anyways. But I should be able to get this Pansamon back together with his brother. He is probably worried sick. "Alright, I will help you."

(In the Hypnos Building.)

"I'm detecting another wild one. The computer's having trouble pinpointing it, but it looks like it's coming from somewhere in the West Shinjuku area." Riley announced.

Yamaki frowned at this information. "West Shinjuku? Pinpoint location now!"

Riley nodded as she started to type away on her keypad. "Trying to get a lock on the target. Whoa, look at that!"

Tally gritted her teeth. "There's a massive amount of data coming in, it's too much!"

Yamaki narrowed his eyes at this news. "What is the problem?"

The signal on the screen above them, was rapidly growing. Everyone in the room was surprised to see this happening. Tally quickly started to type on her keyboard. "We've never seen this much data at once, it's overloading the system."

"No!"

Tally sighed in relief as she started activating certain problems to withstand the data build up. "I've managed to shut down some unnecessary systems, so the computer won't crash, but it's just a temporary fix, sir."

Yamaki bawled his fists. "Get me the chief cabinets!"

Riley nodded. "Already on it."

On the screen the man in the car appears.

Man: This had better be important, Yamaki.

Yamaki nodded. "Just a wild one that could wreck the city." He explained.

The man in the limo raised an eyebrow. "Wreck the city, does this have anything to do with the earthquake?"

Yamaki shook his head. Not knowing everything that was going on. "I don't know, sir. We're still looking into it."

"Get at it and report back to me immediately. Don't make me think my trust in you is misplaced, Yamaki. I won't broke another disappointment."

Yamaki nodded. "I'm aware of that, sir."

"Hm."

The screen shuts off.

Yamaki gritted his teeth. "I'll show you, I'll show everyone."

(Under the bridge)

Impmon was holding his arm. As his eyes were closed tightly. He was deep in thought. Trying to think what his best option was at the moment. Friends. Feh, who needs 'em anyway?

On the street the kid stops and turns his head to see the tamers progression and returns to normal and runs.

Jeri holds her hand out. "Wait!" She called after him.

The rest follows after her. "I think he was staring at Calumon." He said to the others.

Terriermon eyes grew wide at the news of this. "Huh?"

Rika was even surprise to hear this. "Hm?"

Tiffany bit her lip. "Oh no Jeri is in danger. I think I am understanding where your getting at."

Takato nodded thinking back at what happen the other day. "Maybe that's why Jeri was attacked before, because of Calumon." He stared at the pavement under his feet. Before he glanced back up ahead. "We don't really know anything about the little guy, but I've got a feeling that kid does."

"He could be dangerous." Rika said worriedly.

Henry nodded agreeing with her. "Yeah."

"We need to catch up with Jeri quickly." Blaine instructed.

Calumon cheered as she held onto Jeri's head. "Faster Jeri, faster! Whoa!"

The weird kid turns his head and smiles evilly. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

Guilmon whined as he was having a hard time keeping up with the group. "Takato! Slow down!"

He stops to catch his breath, but he quickly stopped. As his yellows eyes dilated, and he started to let out a low guttural growl.

Tapirmon blinked as he felt a presence in the air. "Tiffany!" The blonde stared at the dream bearer digimon. Already knowing what was going on. That weird kid was possibly bringing them to a trap.

"Henry!" Terriermon said worriedly looking at his tamer.

Everyone stops running.

"What's that matter, Terriermon?" Henry asked puzzled.

Julia and Blaine frowned as they both stared at Gatomon and Pansamon respectively. Both feline digimon had their fur sticking up. And both were looking around for something.

Guilmon sniffs the air.

Takato turns around to face the reptile digimon. "What's wrong, boy? A digimon?" Takato asked puzzled.

Guilmon doesn't answer him. He continues to growl up at the sky. Julia frowned. 'Whatever is coming this way. It isn't good." She murmured.

Jeri and Calumon stops running and a sign fall down in front of her. The ground begins to shake beneath their feet. And everyone tried their best to stand their ground.

Henry frowned as the earth shook. "No, it's an earthquake!"

Takato held out a hand in the direction of the brown-haired girl. "Hey Jeri, are you alright?"

Jeri turned around on the heels of her shoes and nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay. But that boy got away." She informed everyone. Blaine sighed in relief. "That's good to hear. Don't worry about that guy. It's good to hear that you're alright."

(Elsewhere)

Jin was running down a street. A concern look was plastered on his face. As he looks around at all the people and cars. "Where could he be?" He asked aloud to himself. He held out his D-power. But no map function would show up, no matter how many times he would press a button. Kotemon...probably didn't want to be found.

"Jin!" A female voice called out from behind him. Jin stopped running and quickly turned his head over his shoulder. To see his friend Haru running over in his direction. The black-haired girl was holding onto Epipamon tightly in her arms.

"We are so happy to have found you Jin." The plant digimon said in a cheerful tone. "Haru, told me what had happen. And we will both try to do anything we can to help you find Kotemon." She informed him.

The ground underneath their feet began to shake. Jin gritted his teeth as the earthquake occurred. "What the hell is going on?" Haru frowned as she tried to keep her footing. She quickly took out her phone. And pointed to the bridge. And mouthed the words. Are we going there?

Jin nodded. "I was thinking that he would go there. That is where we first met them too." He said. Recalling how Haru told him. That she had met Epipamon near the bridge was quite strange for him. Because he met Kotemon near there as well.

Haru had told him. That she was enjoying a nice picnic with her grandmother. When she noticed a plant like creature was wondering aimlessly around the park. While he had met Kotemon by a total accident. He had run away from home. And while walking around near the bridge. Kotemon had fallen out of a tree that he was sleeping in from the night before and fell on top of his head.

When Jin and Haru made it to the bridge. They were surprised to see Kotemon talking to a Pansamon. "Kotemon!" Jin said happily. As he ran over to the reptile digimon.

Kotemon narrowed his eyes when he noticed his tamer. "What do you want?" He asked angrily. As he crossed his arms over his chest.

Jin frowned as he noticed this. "I...I am sorry. Kotemon...it was totally wrong for me to talk to you in that way." He shook his head. "Kotemon...ever since my mother left my father and me. It's been tough to say the least...I haven't been myself. I have been pushing everyone away who cared about me. But Kotemon...you are one of my best friends. And I am sorry that I did that to you." He said with a soft smile.

Kotemon blinked at this. "Jin..." The reptile digimon jumped in the direction of the brown-haired boy. Who caught the rookie Digimon in his arms and accepted the hug the Digimon wanted to give him.

Haru looked in the direction of the Pansamon and frowned. She pulled out her notebook. And wrote down. "Are you Julia's Pansamon?" And showed it to everyone.

Pansamon shook his head. "No...I belong to no human. My mistress sent me to your world. To look for my brother. The one she had created to lead my brother and sisters to great heights."

Jin and Haru shared a look of puzzlement. "Wait is the Pansamon your looking for, Julia's digimon partner."

The Pansamon nodded. "Yep...or at least. That's who I think I am looking for." He said with a happy smile.

"Haru!" An angry female voice growled. Everyone turned in the direction of the yell. And was taken back to see Haru's mother storming in the direction. "Why in the name of hell are you here?" She asked.

"Mum-"

Her mother rose a hand to stop her from speaking. "I don't even want to hear an excuse from your pathetic little mouth. I want you and I to find a taxi and make it back in time to finish the photo shot. Hopefully by the time we get back I will still have my job." She groaned.

She grabbed her daughter's arm and started to tug her with her. "Mum!" She wined. Trying to get out of her mother's grip. "Come with me Haru!" She instructed angrily. Her mother turned her head to look at Jin. "You could think twice of hanging out with him again! I won't allow it. Say goodbye to him. You won't be seeing him again!"

Haru bit her lip. Wanting to speak up against her mother. But she knew that her mother would only make fun of her. She wanted to scream, cry. Do something. But she had no idea what to do.

"Are you guys going to help me or what?" Pansamon asked in an annyoed tone. Haru's mother stopped in her tracks and stared between Jin and her daughter. "D-did that panther just talk?" She asked in mere surprise.

"If you guys are going to get in my way." He lowly started to growl. "Mother told me to get rid of anyone who does." His body stared to glow. As he started to grow. He was probably seven feet tall. His fur becoming midnight black. His eyes were glowing crimson blood red, and skeleton armor covered his wrist, chest, and legs. In his right stretch hand was a club.

Haru's mother screamed as she saw the digimon digivovle. Jin gritted his teeth as he held up his D-power. "Raglonmon...ultimate level. These Digimon are fierce fighters who fight for their evil masters. They fight with little to no remorse, and attack with ruthless dark like energy." Jin announced.

Kotemon jumped out of Jin's arms, while Epipamon did the same. Standing between the three. Haru's mother stared between the two rookie digimon in surprise. "Wait...those two stuff animals are alive?!" She asked in surprise.

Haru nodded. While Jin answered her. "Yes, they are very much alive. And they are going to save our lives." He informed her. Haru and Jin held up their D-powers as they both swiped a card through them. "Digi modify!" They shouted in unison as they both finished swiping the card. "Digivoultion activate!"

"Kotemon digivovle too...Musyamon!" He shouted as he swiped his sword through the air.

"Epipamon digivovle too... Nymphamon!" She sang loudly, getting into a stance to get fight.

(Back at the tunnel)

With the ground shaking. Debris fell from the top of the tunnel. Impmon stared up in shock. Wondering what was going on. "Huh?"

He then shakes it off and starts laughing to himself. "What, so even the earth wants to get rid of me now?"

(Hypnos lab)

Janyu was on a big machine that runs across the middle of the lab. He was staring at a machine that was calculating information rather quickly. "These readings are very puzzling. Let's run full spectral analysis on the new data."

Yamaki walks in and frowns when he hears this news. "New data? Why wasn't I informed?" He asked rather angrily.

Janyu steps back in surprise. "Yamaki, you startled me. I'm sorry, but we just now collected it."

Yamaki walks over and holds out his hand. "Well give it to me."

The machine moves towards the edge.

"I'm afraid it wouldn't do you much good without further analysis. The digimon have evolved and we haven't yet got an accurate picture of exactly how. We'll need more time."

Yamaki raised an eyevbrow. "More Janyu? I've already been more than generous with the amount of time you've had. Now just give me what you've got so far. The time has come to act swiftly against the digimon, before it's too late. Your son and his friends can no longer play this dangerous game."

(On the street.)

Everyone stood together in a group. While Henry stood in the middle of everyone. He had his hand to his chin, trying to contemplate something.

"And all the earthquakes, maybe they're tied to the Devas too." He said aloud.

Tiffany nodded at this thought. "That would make since. Just think about the power Indramon carried. I wouldn't even doubt that one of the remining Devas had the power to control the earth." She said aloud

Guilmon growls and runs off ahead.

"What's wrong now, Guilmon?" Takato called out in worry, as he held out his hand.

Terriermon and the other remaining Digimon followed him. Without a word to their tamer.

"Hey, Terriermon! "

"I understand this kind of thing from Guilmon. But from the other digimon. This is new." Blaine said in amazement.

Terriermon was holding on the back of Guilmon was dear life. "Now it's a digimon!" He called back towards the tamers.

"Uh." Everyone said in surprise. Henry was the first to break the spell. "Well wait up!" he called after them.

Renamon appears on the car next to them. "If we wait for you we'll be too old to fight it."

"Hey."

Renamon jumps away.

Henry shook his head as he leads the others after the fox digimon who was jumping from car to car. "Come on, let's go."

Julia giggled at Henry.

Guilmon stops in a park and sniffs the air and continues.

Renamon appears in a tree and jumps along to another with the kids below following.

They stop at a wall of trees and look up with the kids behind them.

Henry blinked and stared around the area, "Where's the digimon?"

Blaine shook his head. "No clue...but I was expecting to see some type of Deva."

Terriermon rolled his eyes. "Jeez, give it a second."

The digital field appear right after he said that.

Terriermon smiles at the two of them. "How's that for timing?"

The field expands making the kids shield their eyes.

(In the Hypnos Building.)

Riley started to type away quickly as information started to form on her screen. "Another massive data spike, it's that wild one again. Stand by, the computer's getting a lock. Sir, it's bio-emerging!" She announced.

Yamaki runs up the steps. "Ready the Juggernaut program." He instructed.

Riley eyes grew wide at the command. "But sir, without analysis of the new data-"

Yamaki threw out his hand. "Spare me your theories, do it!" He spat.

Riley nodded as she started to type away. Already activating the program. "Engaging program."

Yamaki smirks as he fixes his glasses. "Good. At last these digimon will see what the Juggernaut is really capable of and just how easily we can defeat them."

(Park)

The digimon were all staring up. Gatomon had her fists bawled. "Get ready!" She called out.

Terriermon nodded and added on. "It's gonna be big!"

Henry raised an eyebrow. "How can ya tell?"

"We're looking up, aren't we?" Renamon asked aloud.

A giant pig appears in front of them.

"Whoa..."

Kazu blinked in surprise. "Is that a mountain?"

"With teeth?" Kenta asked.

Tiffany turned towards the two boys. "Okay any takers?" She asked.

The two boys shook their heads. "No thank you. I don't think I would like to be called porker." Kazu grumbled.

In the tunnel a bright light appears at the end.

Impmon was whispering to himself in the darkness. "Nobody loves me, everybody hates me. Think I'll-huh?" He sees the light at the end of the tunnel. "A digital field? What's goin' on? Oh, sure okay I get it, time for me to go home, right? I'm not good enough for this world, but I don't wanna go yet."

In the park Takato holds out his D-power. Where the information about the digimon appears above his screen. "Well there's your pig Deva, Vikaralamon. He's ultimate level."

"Check out the sky!" Kazu shouted as he pointed.

Everyone looks up to see tiny sparkles of light.

"What are those sparkles?" Takato asked puzzled.

Julia shook her head. "I have no idea...but I hope it's not giving him more power." She whispered in fear.

"Maybe it's some kind of digital energy. It looks like the digital bits Growlmon threw off the first time he turned back into Guilmon." He announced.

The pig turns to the road.

"It's on the move!" Kenta pointed out to everyone.

"Wow, thanks for pointing that out Kenta. I would've never even notice." Gatomon nagged.

"Hey!"

Rika raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, but where's it headed?"

Takato narrowed his eyes. As he looks between all of his friends. "We gotta stop it." They all begin to follow the very large pig digimon.

People on the street were running and screaming as they tried to get away from the large ultimate digimon.

"Well at least it won't be hard to spot." Henry said as they continue to run after the digimon.

Blaine nodded. "Your telling me. But there has been cases where big and bad Digimon. Just seem to turn into smoke."

Kazu laughed. "And I thought Takato needed a haircut."

Takato rolled his eyes. "Hey, you know I've been tryin' to get one for weeks but we've been busy."

"With hair like that that thing would make one heck of a street sweeper." Kazu teased.

Kenta rolled his eyes at that thought. "Oh yeah great, the streets will be cleaned but all the buildings'll be knocked down."

"Now Takato!"

"Rika!"

"Me too!" Terriermon smiled.

"Include me" Tapirmon said as he looked over at Tiffany with a determine look.

"You guys won't see me running." Pansamon smirked.

"Well I won't be running with my tail between my legs either." Gatomon announced.

All of the tamers nodded at their partner digimon.

Takato looks over at his other friends. "Now, Kazu and Kenta you have a job to do too. It's up to you to make sure Jeri and Calumon stay safe." He instructed.

Kazu nodded. "Go run and hide, you got it!"

Kenta held up a fist. "Stomp on that oinker!"

Jeri softly smiled and nodded as well. "Mm hm."

Calumon's red triangle lights up.

All the tamers pulled out a card. "Digi-Modify!" They all shouted in unison as they swiped their cards through their D-powers. "Digivolution activate!"

"Digivolution."

"Pansamon digivovle too..."

"Tapirmon digivovle too..."

"Terriermon digivolve to..."

"Renamon digivolve to..."

"Guilmon digivolve to..."

The digimon start to break apart. As their body started to get replaced with new data. And started to become a higher level of power.

"Gamimon!"

"Airdramon!"

"Gargomon!"

"Kyubimon!"

"Growlmon!"

Vikaralamon keeps moving not seeming to notice the six-champion level digimon heading his way. He continues to roam the streets and crushing cars in his way.

"That thing's worse than an earthquake, it's an earthquake with attitude." Takato said to his friends.

Henry nodded. "The whole city'll be rubble if we don't stop it!"

Rika rolled her eyes. "What are you two, the Obvious Brothers?"

Tiffany bit her lip. "That may be right. But they are right about something. We have to stop that thing before it wrecks the whole town."

Takato grimaced as he thought of something. "The army, they have no idea what they're up against."

In the helicopters above the giant digimon. They were all surprised to see what was in their line of sight.

A man with short red hair blinked. "Target acquired, it's...a giant pig?!"

A man with blonde hair frowned. "Sir, we haven't been practicing our giant pig maneuvers, oh wait, do we have giant pig maneuvers?" He asked puzzled.

"All roast with extreme prejudice."

A man with black hair laughed. "Oh that reminds me, I'm going to have a barbecue this weekend and I really-"

"Would you just target the blasted pig already?"

Kyubimon starts running with the other champion digimon by her side. "Let's send this porker packin." She pounced into the air. As fire started to surround her spinning body.

"Dragon Wheel!"

"Electric paw!" Gatomon shouted as her claws started to gather electricity. As she sprinted in the direction of the pig digimon.

"Gargo Laser!"

"Quote the raven!" Gamimon roared as he held out his paws, as a blast of dark energy was blasted at the ultimate.

"Spinning Needle!" Airdramon shouted as needles launched from his spread wings.

"Pyro Blaster!"

The attacks hit their target. But they seem to do nothing to the deva.

"Uh!"

Kyubimon blinked as she stared at the other champion digimon. "He didn't even flinch!"

(At Hypnos.)

"Juggernaut power at 50% a building. All systems nominal." A computer announced over the intercom.

Janyu runs over to Yamaki.

"55%." The computer continue.

Janyu narrowed his eyes. "Just what's goin on here, Yamaki?"

Yamaki crossed his arms over his chest. "Something I should've done a long time ago. This Juggernaut system will allow us to control the entire network."

Janyu raised an eyebrow. "And then what?"

"60%."

"And then, Mr. Wong, I'll simply use the system to destroy all artificial life in the Real World." Yamaki said with a wide grin.

Janyu shook his head. "Yamaki, have you lost your mind? If you do that all the children's digimon will be destroyed as well."

"A small price to pay, I think."

Janyu threw his hands up in the air. "But why, we were just starting to make progress. Really starting to understand artificial life."

Yamaki turns around and looks Janyu in the eyes. "Are you willing to sacrifice the world and your son for artificial life!?"

Janyu takes a step back in surprise at the outburst. "Huh."

"Power at 65%."

Janyu shook his head. 'It just seems...like such a waste." He whispered.

Yamaki narrowed his eyes. "I want you to see something."

They run up the stairs and Yamaki holds up a screen to show him what was going on in the city. "Take a look at your precious artificial life."

On the screen was Vikaralamon destroying the city.

"That thing will flatten the whole city if we don't stop it. So, you tell me, Mr. Wong, what choice do I have but to destroy it? Once this abomination is gone I'll construct a firewall, so they'll never bio-emerge again."

(At the fight.)

Airdramon was firing needles from above. Onto Vikaralamon's back. But it didn't seem to do any damage to him. Growlmon was stabbing Vikaralamon with his Dragon Slash.

"Stinkin' pig!" Gargomon cried as he fired his Vulcans.

"Fox Tail Inferno!"

"Uh, he's not even slowing down." Growlmon cried.

Gamimon barred his fangs as he tried to dig his claws, that were covered in shadow like energy into the pig's back. "Nothing we do, is doing anything to him."

Vikaralamon breaks through a bridge.

The tamers run through an alley and behind Vikaralamon with the digimon.

Gargomon frowned. "It's like Gamimon said. Nothing's working, not even insults."

Rika narrowed her eyes. "There's gotta be something."

Kyubimon nodded. "Maybe if we could digivolve to ultimate too."

"Hm?" All the tamers hummed to themselves.

Takato frowned. "But we need blue cards and they don't just grow on trees." He pointed out.

He turns around and sees the rubble where Vikaralamon was. "Hm, and everyone's depending on us to save what's left of the city. We're the last hope."

Takato recalled what his mother told him that morning. You need to study once and a while Takato! Takato frowned as he thought about his mother. "I bet she's worried about me or yelling about me."

Henry bawled his fists. "We gotta prove we care."

Henry remembered yelling at his sister and making her cry. "She probably thinks I hate her."

Julia frowned to herself as she recalled wanting to go to the city. "You can't go. Your memory is terrible enough!" Her mother begged.

"My parents were only concerned over my safety...and I was only thinking about myself." She whispered sadly.

Blaine narrowed his eyes. "Whatever it takes. We must give it our all. For everyone we care about."

Blaine remembered how depressed Jeri the other day was. "I will fight for the people, who can't protect themselves. Including my friends."

Tiffany held her D-power tightly. "No matter what he said." Don't prove it to me. Prove it to the crest of light. Prove to me, that you should be called a digidestined! "I have what it takes to be strong!" Tiffany said angrily.

Rika eyes went to the road. As she remembered her mother calling her. "I guess...she really does care."

(At Hypnos.)

"Juggernaut power at 80% and climbing."

Inside Janyu grabs Yamaki.

"I beg you, stop this!"

Yamaki narrowed his eyes. "Get your hands off of me!" He pushes Janyu down onto the rail. "Enjoy your rampage while you can, you're about to be deleted."

Outside Takato stomps the ground. "Hm! I wish I had some kind of idea of what to do!"

" Actually, wishing's not a bad idea." Henry exclaimed. He holds a card up and closes his eyes. "I want to protect my sister." The card turns blue. "Oh."

Rika holds one up. "I want to protect my family." Her card turns blue. "Uh."

Tiffany held one up slowly. As she narrowed her eyes. "I want to prove myself. I want to show, that I can be a new me." Her card glowed blue. "No way..."

Julia held up a card as well. "I wish, to be wiser when making a decision. So, I can make a brighter future" Her card glows as well.

Blaine gritted his teeth, as he held up a card. "I need to protect my friends." His card followed suit.

Takato does as well. "I want to protect the whole darn city!" His card turns blue. Takato laughed as he looked at his friends. Each of them holding their own blue card. "Hey it actually worked!"

"Let's do it!" The six of them said with smiles on their faces. Each of them held their D-powers out. "Digi-Modify!" They shouted in unison. As they swiped their blue cards through their digivice. "Matrix Digivolution Activate!"

"Matrix Digivolution" Their D-powers announced.

"Gatomon matrix digivovle too..."

"Gamimon matrix digivovle too..."

"Airdramon matrix digivovle too..."

"Gargomon matrix digivolve to..."

"Kyubimon matrix digivovle too..."

"Growlmon matrix digivovle too..."

Red triangles glowed powerfully. As they merged with the six digimon. And started to change their shape and gave them power.

"Sorceressmon!"

"Zambamon!"

"Megadramon!"

"Rapidmon!"

"Taomon!"

"WarGrowlmon!"

"Get him!!!!!!" Takato yelled at the top of his lungs.

The six ultimates quickly flew after Vikaralamon.

"Okay, you don't have to yell! Sheesh!" Rapidmon grumbled.

They fly in front of Vikaralamon, stopping him.

Vikaralamon growls.

Rapidmon chuckles. "Not so confident now, are ya Mr. Big pig?"

(In Hypnos.)

"Power at 100%. Ready to engage Juggernaut program."

Yamaki held onto the railing. A look of determination on his face. "Do it! Destroy them all!"

The lights on top of the two Hypnos towers light up.

Janyu eyes grew wide. "No!!!!!!"

Outside.

All the tamers gasped at what was going. That each of them started to yell at the top of their lungs. "No!!!!!!!!!!"

(At the same time, back at the bridge)

Nymphamon was using her vines to wrap themselves around Raglonmon. The ultimate digimon snarled as he grabbed ahold of one of the vines and threw her into Musyamon.

The two champion digimon tumbled into the ground. Both were in pain. And barley could get back up.

"No more of this waste of time. I must complete my mother's wishes. Now get out of my way!" He roared as he unrooted a tree. And threw it at Haru. Haru screamed as she witnessed a tree hurdling at her. "Haru!" Haru's mother screamed as she tackled her daughter of the way of the tree.

Haru was surprised to see her mother do that. When her mother got off her. Her face appeared to have a soft comforting look. "A-are you alright?" She asked. Haru slowly nodded. Haru's mother stood up from the ground and stood her ground. She pointed a finger at the panther digimon. "You stay away from my daughter. I don't care who you are! But you will not go attacking my daughter! She is the last thing I care about this in this world. And I will not allow you to ever lay a finger on her!" She screamed.

Haru's eyes shook with tears as she witnessed her mother stand up for her. "Mum..." she whispered in disbelief. Haru slowly started to realize. Her mother still deeply cared about her. But her feelings must have been locked away in a shell. After dad passed away.

"You're in my way!" He roared as he raced towards her. Haru's mother closed her eyes tightly as she held her arms out. Standing in the path of her daughter like a shield.

"Muuuum!" Haru screamed as she was holding onto a card in her shaking hands. Unknown to Haru she was holding onto a card. The crest of forgiveness. That was slowly started to glow blue.

Haru gasped as she noticed the blue light that was surrounding her. No way...the blue card. Haru narrowed her eyes as she held out her D-power. "Digi-modify!" She shouted as she quickly swiped the blue card through her D-power. "Matrix Digivolution activate!"

"Matrix digivoultion!" Haru's D-power announced. A hologram of a digital egg appeared on her D-power. And the light blue digivice launched off into the distance. A spinning red diamond with calumon's face spun around until it flew into Nymphamon's mask.

"Nymphamon matrix digivovle too..." The plant Digimon started to wilt away. As light shun upon her. The champion Digimon fell to the ground into a heap, until small fits of laughter were heard. A small frame of light was seen flying away from the pieces of wood. Until it grew to be five feet tall. The creature still wore the mask that it was cursed with. But small holes were beginning to be seen. Moss haired dropped down the creatures back. The creature had smooth light green skin. It wore a small ivy dress, that was connected by small daisy flowers chained together. Yellow butterfly wings were spread across the small fairy's back. Elf like ears twitched on either side of the creature's head. As it seems to listen to the sound around her. She snapped her heels together, and small ivy high heels were made for her feet.

"Tilymon!" She announced as daisies formed behind her. Tilymon flew quickly to catch Haru's mother and get her out of harms way. Haru's mother gasped as she stared at the elfin fairy digimon. "Don't worry, I am here to protect you. You have a wonderful daughter indeed. No matter, how much you yelled at her. She always loved you. And with you telling her, that you still feel the same way. I felt the surge of forgiveness well up inside of her. That I was able to digivovle beyond my champion level form." She said cheerfully.

She let her mother down safely. And turned towards Raglonmon, the fairy digimon bawled her fists getting ready to fight no matter what was sent her way.

Jin held up his D-power, as a hologram of Tilymon appeared above his screen. "Tilymon...an ultimate level digimon. Tilymon are fairy like digimon that protect digimon and humans alike who are pure of heart. They are seen to be healers and gathers. Been when a fight is needed, these small efl-like fairies pack a big punch!"

Haru nodded as she narrowed her eyes. "Go Tilymon!"

End of chapter

Authors Note: Sorry for the long wait. But with school, and my dad being at home more. Writing this book has been a challenge. I am still interested in finishing this book. But life is getting you know what. This was actually supposed to be a combination of two episodes. But under better judgment of people reading one chapter for two hours. I decided to stay with one. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, and look forward to the next one. I will promise I will begin working on it tomorrow!
