You called?
Oh?
Were you expecting Anti?
He's not here right now.
Plus, I thought I would do better at explaining myself than him.
So don't interrupt me.
I controlled all of your answers to the multiple choices you were given.
Both the good and the bad ones.
I am after all...
A manipulator.
As you may have been told, Antisepticeye controls your anxieties and your Nightmares.
Even Your Best Nightmares.
As for me, I control hallucinations and bad decisions.
When you made a choice, and it turned out to not be what you wanted, I was the one that pulled you away.
When you saw Antisepticeye in hallucinations, that was me, messing with your mind and playing tricks.
He wasn't actually there
No matter how real he seemd
You had no control over your choices in the events of this book.
The only time you ever had a choice, was the ending of the first one.
And even then, when you did have a choice, it landed you here.
Where you are right now...
Talking to me.......
Dead.
So what did kill you?
Was it the tea, or my kiss?
Well, Darling, if you were in intelligent enough, you would have noticed that both were poisonous.
The Back Rose Tea is a manipulative potion.
It works in many miraculous ways and in any way I want it to.
As such, I use it to help with the voices in my head. To ease me.
And in this case, I needed you to be attracted to me enough that you would want to stay with me.
So I made it into a lust-inducing drink.
Fascinating.
Is it not?
I found out you had a piece of Anti's soul a long time ago. So I knew you would be:
1) the perfect bait
and 2) the second bird I killed with one stone.
Keeping you in the castle, was all just my plan that led to you falling for me.
And you have probably noticed that my kiss is, in fact, deadly.
Do you think I'm cruel?
I am not cruel compared to somebody else I know.
*sigh*
Yes, yes. You want to know what happened to Antisepticeye.
Well, he escaped.
After I killed you, I went to the cells to find that he somehow got a hold of the keys and escaped.
I can't be sure how he did it.
But I did find a single pink hair laying next to the open door...
What?
Are you happy he made it out alive?
That he escaped from my grasp and now I am not king!?
Well guess what?
He doesn't know you're dead.
He is still out there looking for you and hoping that I hadn't gotten to you first.
He doesn't know how vulnerable he is now that you are gone.
His only hope now, is to return to the Real World,
Find you,
(yes, you you. Not (y/n).)
And tear your eyes away from this stupid book!
But he doesn't know it.
And you aren't alive in here to tell him.
I hope you're satisfied with your path choice.
No?
You want to try again?
You want to change your choice?
And hope for a better ending?
*sighs*
You are lucky this author is so nice to you...
Fine...
I will help you.
Just know you can only do this in this story
You can not go into your real world, make mistakes, and just ask for a redo.
You die in that world, you stay dead.
Just know that reading the next path will reset everything from this one.
You won't remember a thing that happened here.
Only you, the reader, will know how things could go wrong.
But (y/n) won't.
That's the beauty of dramatic irony.
I will let you go now
If you must.
Don't come crying to me when you get a worse ending than this.
You were the one that made this happen in the first place.
Who knows?
Maybe I'll have better luck in the next book
See you soon.
