THERE'S NOTHING JIMIN adores more than filming vlogs with his boyfriend. the slightly (extremely,) awkward gamer jeon jeongguk doesn't seem like the older boy's type, truly, what with the fact that jimin's a beauty youtuber with incredible fashion sense, and jeongguk's a gamer who sometimes wears the same hoodies for weeks on end, but that doesn't matter, because jeongguk's just... great.
jimin knows the day will be great when at breakfast his boyfriend suggests they do a vlog around the city, so they can do the sickeningly cute youtuber couple things everyone else does. the pinkette beams widely at the suggestion, chewing a mouthful of special k red fruits before responding with a "yes, let's do it!", and that's all it takes for jeongguk to smile. their mornings are cutely domestic, jimin's cat, sneaker, nosing at jeongguk's socked feet while the brunette sips his coffee, and their puppy jae lazily barking for attention. jimin's hair is tangled and messy, same as jeongguk's, and they're in each other's shirts, which makes jimin smile at how cliché they are. jeongguk yawns lazily, sunlight cutting across his perfect features, coffee coloured eyes illuminated by lazy summer light.
"gguk, you gotta let me choose your outfit!" jimin says, the excellent idea coming to his head. jeongguk looks at him skeptically.
"bitch, i think the fuck not." he responds, and jimin rolls his eyes. the younger shakes his head, but he can't look very menacing when he's wearing jimin's t-shirt– practically a crop top on him– with "what a good day to be gay" written across the chest in glittery rainbow sequins. jimin giggles at the sight.
"come on ggukie..." he teases, leaning forward to pinch jeongguk's cheek. "it'll look cute! please, seeing as you won't let me do a boyfriend tag video..." jimin makes puppy eyes at jeongguk, and the twenty year old rolls his eyes, leaning forward to kiss his boyfriend.
"alright, you dork," he laughs, leaning his elbow on the table, chin in his palm. "so, what do you wanna do today?" he asks, tilting his head to the side like a cat, which makes jimin laugh stupidly. the older busan boy purses his lips, thinking.
"oh! later on, let's go to the beach," he comes up with that wonderful idea; he loves busan summers, hot but not too much, and the sea is the perfect temperature for swimming in. jeongguk nods eagerly. "we should go to that cute-ass arcade next to the bubble tea place... ah, let's go to that nerdy shop you like, i wanna get some merch."
"'nerdy shop that i like'?" jeongguk says incredulously. "you mean vinnie's gamer emporium, you uncultured swine."
jimin rolls his eyes. "i'm pretty sure that's the wrong use of the word emporium, gguk," he says, and jeongguk just smiles, shaking his head. "hmm... okay okay, that new makeup place, i need to go there."
"okay. gaming, makeup, vinnie's and bubble tea," jeongguk rounds up their options, a sudden idea coming to his head. "let's go to the line friends store! i want some more plushies for my video background."
"sounds like an excellent plan," jimin laughs, before drinking the milk from his cereal bowl and signing contentedly, smiling as the sun hits his face. jeongguk is looking at him dreamily, eyes fond and all loved up, and jimin laughs. "pictures last longer, pretty."
jeongguk blushes at that, ducking his head so jimin can't see his red cheeks. "hyunggg," he whines, making his boyfriend laugh harder, jimin's hand covering his mouth as pearly giggles slip out from his pink lips, eyes in crescents. "stop laughing at meeee."
jimin giggles one last time, his cheeks hurting from smiling. "alright, mr macho i-never-blush jeongguk," he says cockily, and jeongguk reaches for one of his cheeks, pinching the chub between two fingers. jimin just looks at him, deadpan. "okay, bunny boy. you wanna go down that road?"
suddenly jimin's gripping jeongguk's chubby cheeks in his own fingers, and they look ridiculous, so ridiculous that jeongguk breaks into giggles, letting go of jimin's cheeks and laughing in that cute way that makes jimin's heart melt. the older boy giggles and pulls him forward for a kiss, both of them smiling stupidly.
"cmon, let's go get you ready for the vlog!" jimin says excitedly when they break apart.
jeongguk groans and rolls his eyes, but let's his boyfriend pull him to their bedroom. jimin stands in front of their shared wardrobe with a thoughtful expression, while jeongguk grabs his bluetooth speaker and connects up his phone, playing some day6, before going to backhug jimin, chin on his shoulder. humming along to if we meet again, jeongguk tries to think what jimin will make him wear; he's not completely opposed to the idea, it's just that jimin's style is very particular, bright, generally dressing like a rich ceo's son or some kinda model, whereas jeongguk's is... athletic wear– but for goths. he sniggers at that thought, and jimin turns his head to look at him, silently (and inexplicably) booping jeongguk's nose with a whispered 'bloop', before turning back to look at the closet. jeongguk stares at him confused.

"i cannot believe you forced me into this."
jeongguk and jimin are on the pavement outside of their apartment, and jimin has jeongguk's small portable camera on a selfie stick in his hand, already filming. he giggles, filming his boyfriend, who keeps looking down at his outfit. "you look hot!" jimin says encouragingly, and it's true. jeongguk's muscular, thick thighs are clad in gucci jeans with patches all over them, which greatly accentuate his legs (and ass, but jimin's tryna keep it pg), and jimin found an adorable cropped black hoodie with a burning rose embroidered on the chest to go with it, a white t-shirt underneath. jeongguk's black hair falls in waves across his forehead, and he looks pretty; when does he not?
"alright, whatever you say," jeongguk gives the camera a 'save me' expression, and jimin takes his hand, flipping the camera so they can film themselves walking down the street. "alright, introduction time!"
jimin laughs. "what's up guys, welcome to princejimin, a channel that you are watching on the internet," it's his classic intro, the one he's done for ages. jeongguk grins, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "this pretty nerd is my boyfriend, jeongguk."
"you guys might recognise me from jeonplays," jeongguk does a two finger salute, his steps matching jimin's. "jiminie-hyung forced me into this vlog and this outfit, as you can probably tell," he whines softly when jimin pokes his cheek with a pastel pink fake nail. "okay, the outfit's warming up on me. anyway, bubble tea?"
jimin nods, and he has the route to the bubble tea shop memorised– of course he does– so he walks while jeongguk films with the sound off, so he can add some song in the background later. jimin points out the funny or pretty things he spots; a girl on rollerblades looking like she's just stepped out of harajuku skating through traffic, a group of street dancers in the bustling downtown square b-boying in a way jimin knows he can still do, the flowers growing down the side of the florist shop in amazing creeping patterns. jeongguk turns the sound back on when they enter the bubble tea place, filming jimin's back as the pinkette goes to order. he smiles at the diamanté decoration on jimin's jacket, royalty displayed in huge sparkly letters.
jimin knows both of their orders, so he returns with jeongguk's blue winterberry tea and his own golden honey-lemon, a sparkling smile on his face. jeongguk balances the camera so it captures both of them, and he leans his chin on his palm, sipping his tea. "so, what are you gonna get from vinnie's?" he asks, and jimin just leans back in his chair, deadpanning,
"a japanese anime school girl outfit,"
jeongguk nearly spits out his winterberry teat at the very thought of jimin in the extremely revealing outfit, somewhat reminiscent of taehyung's hentai tastes (don't ask), the skirt too short and the shirt very loose. jimin laughs cutely at jeongguk's gaping expression, hand over his mouth and eyes scrunching up, pink hair flopping into his eyes. "oh, ggukie," he giggles, eyes like a thousand shining stars. "as much as you'd love that, perv, i was kidding. i want some anime merch and a sword art online sword, maybe a few mugs and shirts too."
"i'm not a perv, jiminie-hyung!" jeongguk counters, and jimin just scrunches his nose, laughing. "whatever, you fucking adorable nerd. i'm gonna get some posters and plushies."
"you're getting line friends plushies though?" jimin asks, and jeongguk just smirks.
"there's no such thing as too much plushies– especially when line friends is involved."
the line friends store in downtown busan is huge; two floors of line friends and naver merchandise, popular kpop playing over the speakers. jeongguk turns to jimin, who's filming, as they walk in, a sneaky smile on his face.
"singing kpop in public challenge?" he asks, and jimin raises an eyebrow, laughing.
"fuck yeah."
they walk around, waiting for a song they're familiar with to come on the speakers. jeongguk coos at a huge ryan plushie that's bigger than jimin, which leads to short jokes and jimin lightly shoving him into a standee of kumamon, and jimin picks up the cute line friend that looks like a beauty blender, wondering whether to buy it. he's just looking over and filming the displays, when he suddenly hears a scarily familiar screech–
"like you've just been shot– BANG BANG BANG!"
he turns around lightening fast, only to see his boyfriend vet aggressively doing the choreo, quite perfectly, to the chorus of one of the best kpop songs ever. jimin cheers him on, and can't stop laughing when more people join in, until around fifteen people are rapping T.O.P's part and doing the choreography amazingly. jeongguk gets around two seconds break until another familiar intro begins, and jimin places the camera somewhere safe so he can jump him.
"is that true? yes! okey dokey yo!"
he and jeongguk sing the zico song in perfect harmony, hours of singing and memorised choreography coming to life as they dance unabashedly in the middle of a naver store, a whole crowd of people watching. they couldn't careless, feeling young, wild and neverendingly free.

THE BOYS' HECTIC day finally comes to a rest when they take their shopping back home, end the video, and get into their beach clothes. jimin's little moped is perfect to get to the busan beach, jeongguk clinging to his waist as seasalt scented wind hits them in the face.
the sand is soft and pearly white, the sea washing over it quietly and peacefully, the sky beginning to be painted in hues of orange, yellow, pink and purple. jimin smiles lovingly as jeongguk runs onto the beach, squealing childishly when the sea touches the tips of his fendi flipflops, the half light illuminating his smile and silhouetting him quite beautifully. jimin gets his small camera from his bag, taking a few photos of his boyfriend. "come down, jiminie-hyung!" the gamer yells, and jimin jumps the steps, sliding down the old metal banister. his large flannel flaps in the breeze as he walks towards the sea, and he feels jeongguk's chin on his shoulder.
"hey," jeongguk mumbles dorkily, back-hugging his boyfriend. his voice is the soft, fond one jimin hears in early mornings when jeongguk awakens him with a 'morning, beautiful', thumb stroking his cheek. jimin turns his head to look at him, smiling widely.
"you look pretty in this light," jimin says, and jeongguk's cheeks turn a cute shade of pink. the sea washes over their flip-flops, toes turning numb. "you always look pretty," he adds, and that makes jeongguk squeal quietly, burying his face in jimin's shoulder shyly. jimin giggles at his boyfriend's dorkiness, turning around so he can move his hands onto the small of jeongguk's back, jeongguk's face now in his hands, cheeks red.
"you're so cute," jimin chuckles, taking jeongguk's hands away, pinching his cute cheeks. "gosh, baby! how do you manage to be so cute!"
"hyung!" jeongguk whines, all flustered. "stop it!"
jimin giggles and presses a kiss to jeongguk's lips, his hands going to jeongguk's fluffy hair. jimin's vanilla eos chapstick is all jeongguk can taste, swiping his tongue over jimin's bottom lip when his hands settle on jimin's neck, the kiss soft and sweet. they're both smiling into the kiss, loving, and jeongguk loves how jimin's short fingers tug at his feather-soft hair. they're completely oblivious to the world around them, so wrapped up in each other.
"good day?" jimin asks when they break apart, smiling widely. jeongguk nods.
"good day."
