The girl to the side is Alexandra :3

When I woke up next morning, Chris was sat next to my bed, an excited look on his face.

"Morning." I mumbled, yawning loudly making him laugh as he plugged my iPod into the dock which I guessed was his. It went from Coffee Shop Soundtrack to Lost In Stereo, so it was pretty obvious that he'd stuck my music on shuffle.

"So I've gotten you some visitors today, but I need to ask you something." He grinned at me and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Why? Are they some sort of disguised axe murderers?" I teased and he just grinned at me in response.

"Don't freak out. That's all I beg of you."

I shrugged my shoulders in response and he simply winked as I shifted as much as I could without causing myself so much pain.

Once I was comfortable, he disappeared from the room. This confused me, but I just shrugged it off as I grabbed the cup which was by the side of my bed. It felt nice to be able to drink things easily, so that was a bonus.

Time Bomb drifted through the room and I leaned my head back as I listened to the music, a small smile on my face as the memory of seeing it live rushed through my mind momentarily.

I'd never forget that night, even if my life depended on it. It was my happiest moment of the year.

The peace was disturbed by the sound of footsteps over the light music and I watched the door, waiting for Chris to come back with my visitors.

He stuck his head around the door and grinned at me.

"Excited?"

"I would be if I knew who was actually here." I grumbled and he just laughed at me.

He walked in and nodded to whoever was stood outside the door. I resisted a sigh of boredom as I watched the door as I waited.

Suddenly, two figured stepped through and my eyes went wide in shock.

A brunette with a pink streak and black hair with a blonde streak. I felt my heart pick up slightly as two more people entered the room and almost instantly I buried my face in my hands as I tried my hardest not to break down into tears that moment.

"This is too surreal, oh my god." I mumbled and five male voices laughed at me and I finally moved my hands from my face.

"We're really here." Jack grinned at me and I smiled back slightly.

"Chris, why, how?"

"I can answer that." Alex spoke up and took one of the seats next to me. Rian sat next to him, whilst Jack sat on my otherside and Zack was next to him. Chris was stood at the end of my bed.

"He's our UK doctor. He explained to me that you'd been in some sort of accident and that you were a fan of the band. After talking with the guys, we figured 'What the hell, we've got nothing better to do, so we'll stop by and say hi' and he explained you'd not had any visitors, so it kind of gave us more of a reason to visit you." He grinned at me and I just felt my insides melt.

"Wait, you know All Time Low personally?!" My eyes widened at Chris who looked at me sheepishly.

"If anything goes wrong whilst they're over here, I'm the one who deals with them. So yeah, I do know them personally." I scowled at him for a moment before I couldn't stop myself and I grinned.

"I met you guys back in January when you were over here in the UK. It was by far one of the best shows that I'd been too in a long time, and you guys had kept me going." I admitted and they all grinned.

"I'll leave you guys to it." Chris saluted me and I stuck my tongue out before he laughed and left the room.

I was sat in the same room as my heroes and I was trying so hard not to freak out.

"So what's your name?" Jack smiled at me and I blushed.

"Alexandra." I mumbled and I watched as Alex tried to hide his grin.

"Can you speak up please?" He plastered on an innocent look and I just rolled my eyes.

"My name's Alexandra." I spoke louder and Alex held his hand up for a high five.

"Both Alex's. It's counts." He grinned and I returned the high five with a laugh.

"Would you care to explain how exactly we saved your life? I'm really curious." Zack's voice was quiet and I smiled at him before nodding my head.

"Well you guys know about the explosion, and I'd basically given up on trying to let myself live. All I live in is arguments and my brother hit me the night before it all happened, which basically made me hate my family that much more." I tried to hide my scowl at the fact that they hadn't even bothered to visit. "Stay Awake was playing when I became aware of my surroundings and I was close to just not bothering to stay awake, I wanted to fall back asleep for good. I wanted to leave the pain and heartache and just let go completely."

I hesitated, feeling ashamed that I'd basically admitted that I wanted to die.

"Then The Reckless And The Brave started playing, and I sorta told myself that I'm still here for a reason, I've got plans for my future, well I had plans. Then Lullabies started playing. And I knew I had to fight. Because I knew what my death would do to my family. It'd tear them up for good, and I don't want that to happen. As much as I hate them, they don't deserve to be torn apart for good." I whispered, my vision blurring for a second.

"What made it ten times worse, was I was meant to celebrate my 19th birthday on the day of the incident. I missed it completely, seeing as we're now a week ahead." I sighed. "But it's just been your music which has kept me going. Therapy was a definite helper, because I just felt isolated. I still do in a way." I added the last bit onto my sentences almost silently, hoping they wouldn't have heard it.

"You're not though. You have the Hustlers." Jack piped up and Alex reached out, taking my hand and squeezing it gently.

"You're so brave. You've been through hell and back and you can still smile." That was all it took for the tears to start flowing, and I had no way to stop them.

"You guys really don't know how much it means to me to have you here. My own family haven't even checked if i'm okay." I felt angry and hurt. And to be in the same room as my heroes, everything was overwhelming.

"Technically, you're family." I raised an eyebrow at Jack through my tears, and he grinned.

"Our fans are a family to us. Which means that you're family." I couldn't help but smile, even though it hurt to do so.

"That means the world to me." I whispered as I smiled through my tears.

The next two hours were spent with banter between us all, a few Jalex moments which cheered me right up, and I told the guys that I could sort of sing and play acoustic guitar.

"The guys need to eat and so do you." Chris walked through the door whilst we were laughing at Jack and Alex and he looked at us in confusion.

"Jack. Alex. Oh my god." I got out between my giggles and Chris seemed to understand what I meant.

"As much as I don't want to break up the friendship ring, you guys need to grab some food for a bit so that I can sort Alex out and make sure that her body's in working order."

They all saluted Chris and each of them kissed my cheek, making me blush before they left the room and Chris gave off an  'Oooh la la.'

"Chris, I can't go home."

"Who said about making you go home?"

"No one, but I thought about it. I can't go back to those who barely give a shit about me. I know what I want to do, I just need some strings to do it." A plan formed in my mind. I had enough money, and I had my pass. All I needed was a car and map.

"You do realise that I've been conversing with the guys all week right?" I nodded my head, wondering where he was going with this. "Have those muppets not said a single fucking word?"

"About...?" I prompted, feeling curious about what he meant.

"I'll let them tell you that. I'll prompt them later." He winked at me before he started to check each different machine and he began fiddling with the I.V I was hooked up to.

Once he did that, He left the room for a second before pulling in a tray filled with the hospital food. I pulled a face and he just laughed.

He handed me the tray of hot food and I ate it with him watching me. It wasn't as if I was going to turn down food, it felt like so long since I had last eaten.

Once I was finished, he flashed me a grin before disappearing once more. This time, it took longer for the footsteps to return, and by the sounds of it, the guys had returned.

"Honey we're baa-aack." Jack sang as he stepped through the door, making me giggle.

"You're a twat, you know that?" Rian followed just after Jack and I hid my grin as Jack pouted.

Alex and Zack followed behind, both deep in discussion, so I kept my attention on Jack and Rian.

"When is he ever not a twat though?" The words fell from my mouth without thought and my eyes widened as I slapped my hands over my mouth in embarrassment. There was a second of silence before Rian burst into laughter and Jack huffed.

"You are something else girl, that's for sure." Rian commented once he calmed down, high fiving me. I grinned sheepishly as I returned the high five.

"I tend to just talk without thought sometimes."

"Well Jack's brain function doesn't kick in till midweek." Rian teased his band member, earning a glare.

"Fuck you very much Rian." He grumbled and I giggled quietly before flinching.

"Fuck, that hurts." I grumbled under my breath as I felt a sharp pain in my leg and Jack started to laugh. "It's not fucking funny." I whined, causing him to laugh even more.

"Why is Barakat pissing himself?" Alex commented as he and Zack resumed their seats on the right hand side of my bed.

"Ask him yourself." I grumbled as another pain shot through my leg.

Chris appeared then and I let a sigh of relief.

"Where does it hurt Al?"

"My leg, it feels like someone's ripping my leg open." I winced again and he ran his hands down his face for a moment before sighing.

"When you first got here, we found that your leg had snapped in three places. So it's most probably the bone rubbing against your muscle and skin. The only thing I can do is give you more painkillers." He frowned and I just shrugged.

"Three places? You really don't do injuries by half do ya?" Zack grinned and I shrugged once more, a smile appearing on my lips.

"I don't do things by half. That takes the fun out of everything." I teased and all the men in the room simply laughed.

"So Jack, seeing as you've calmed down, care to tell us why you were pissing your pants moments ago?" Alex directed the question to his friend as Chris gave me a few tablets and some water.

"She repeatedly used the word 'fuck' and for someone who looks adorable and innocent, I just found it too funny." I couldn't help but scowl at him for that.

Jack thinks I'm adorable. Holy fudge muffins. I felt my inner fangirl squeal in excitement and I desperately tried to hide my smile.

I didn't have to try and hide it when I felt my leg twinge again and I muttered under my breath, cursing the day for getting on that train.

"Give it five minutes and it'll kick in sweetheart." Chris grinned at me before he left the room.

I scowled at the door before relaxing into the hospital pillows. I had to admit, for feeling uncomfortable, the pillows were relaxing.

"So Alex, what are your plans when you get discharged?" I shrugged my shoulders at this.

"I'm not gonna go back home. I'll probably find a hotel or something 'till I can leave the country." I answered honestly. I had a plan set out for when I left this hospital.

"Well, how about if we make that somewhat easier for you?" I looked at Alex, trying to decipher his words for a few moments before sighing.

"And what do you mean by that?"

"What I mean is, come and join us back in the States."
