(Katie's POV)
I wake up in a hospital. "Dang " I mutter under my breath.
"What was that?" The doctor asked as he walked in the door. "Nothing. How long have I been out?" "A week." "How long do I have to stay here?" "A few more days." he says. I let out a sigh of relief.
"You should rest." he says. I nod my head and instantly fall asleep.
*time skip to skip when she is allowed home*
I grab all my stuff and head out the door. No one came to check up on me, so I have no car to ride in. I guess I have to walk.
The only down side to that is that my house is really far away. By really far I mean a mile. It's just so far...
I start to walk.
As I'm half way there, I see a certain car full of my enemies. I groan loudly. Jerome rolls down his window and yells, "SOMEONE TIRED, KOSOWSKI?"
"NOT EVEN CLOSE, ACETI!" I yell back. I see a smirk grow on his face as he rolls down the window. That was... strange?
The rest of the way home, I run until I reach my neighborhood. I slowly walk to my house. As I am near my house, I see that there are people moving in the mansion across from my house.
No one usually lives there, so it has to be someone rich.
As I near the mansion and my house, I see the eight people I don't want to.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" I yell. A few parents in the neighborhood that were outside doing some gardening shit, gave me a very disappointed look. Once they turned back around I flicked them off.
Once I have fun flicking old people off (that's what she said), I turn my attention back to the team. I put on a fake smile and run to my house. I unlock the door then run inside. I shut the door behind me, lock it, and slide down on my back. I look up and ask, "What do I do now?"
I close my eyes and let a tear roll down my face. My life is going to be even worse. Or not?
I have to options, more like possibilities that could happen.
1. I become closer to the Team
OR
2. My life becomes worse.
I'm going to go with the second one, just because.
I need to sleep, I remind myself. I go upstairs and jump into bed. The time was 5:26. UGH! I can't go to sleep yet. I unwillingly get up out of bed and drag myself downstairs. I look in my fridge and see I have left over buffalo wings. I take them out of the fridge and eat them. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS!!!!
Once I finish eating I go upstairs and take a shower.
After that, I play some COD.
"DIE!" I yell as I try to 360 no scope some one.
Just as I'm about to shoot, i hear a knock at my door. I jump in my chair and miss the shot and end up getting killed.
I angrily get out of my chair and stomp over the door. I swing it open and angrily begin speaking. "What the fuck- Mrs. Rivers? Hi." I feel really embarrassed.
"Hello Katharine," she says. I cringe at my full name. "We are having the welcoming party for the people who just moved in. You remember the whole neighborhood has to attend." she says sweetly. Mrs. Rivers is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met and she is luckily one of my neighbors.
I bang my head on the wall and groan. "But why?" I whine.
"You have to." She says sternly. "Fine." I groan as I close the door. "BRING A PRESENT AND DON'T DO ALL OF THIS MOPY TEENAGER CRAP!" She yells from the outside. I smile as I walk upstairs. I grab one of my new heard sets and my second copy of Assassin's Creed Unity and wrap them. I put on my high-tops and head out the door.
I trudge over to the Mansion. As I am walking in the road, are car comes to a halting a couple feet away from me. I flick the driver off and keep walking.
"Asshole." I mutter. "What was that?" I turn around and hit the person in the face. I then realize it was Mitch.
"Hey asshole." I smile as I see him hold his nose.
"Nice to see you too." He says as he moves his hand away from his face.
"You should smile more." he randomly smiles. I give him a confused face. "I mean it's nice when people smile."
"Or maybe you want to see my sexy smile." I smirk.
"Whatever." He says. I roll my eyes and go inside their house. My mouth drops when I see the inside. "That was my reaction first time I saw it." Mitch says.
"You mean the first time you saw how small your dick is." I smile. He slaps the back of my head making me laugh. He smiles with his super sexy smile-
WHAT THE FUCK AM I SAYING?!
You cannot have a crush in your enemy.
I snap out of my thoughts as Mitch waves a hand in front of my face. "You good?" He asks. I nod my head as I walk to their backyard. I step outside into the warm California winter weather.
"Nice outfit. Kosowski." Jerome says sarcastically. "I may be wearing a creeper t-shirt, sweatpants, and converse, but that doesn't mean I don't look good in it." I reply back.
"Sure you look good in it but don't you have anything else in your closet?" he asks. Hold up. Did he just compliment me?
"Nope." I say quickly as I walk away. Another awkward moment...
I go to the table and put my presents there. I was the only one in the neighborhood that knew they were gamers, so they probably got them boring shit like dishes and towels. I laugh at the thought.
"What's so funny?"
I turn around and punch the person in the face.
"OKAY! You really need to stop punching me in the face." Mitch says. I burst out laughing.
"You haha You just hahaha got.... PUNCHED IN THE FACE hahaha!" I laugh.
"Ha ha very funny." he says. I laugh harder. Once I finally regain my breath, Mitch starts to speak, "You done yet?" He asks. I nod my head and laugh a little bit more. Mitch smiles as we start to walk to where the rest of the Team was.
"Hey, bitch." Adam says.
"Hey dick heads how are you?" I ask.
"Good-" Ty starts then stops. He looks down at my waist. I look down too and see an arm wrapped around it. Instead of moving, I do the worst possible thing in the world. I BLUSH!!!
I faceplam. WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE ME?! I look at the boys again and see something in their eyes. It looks like jealousy. WTF?
"Hey, dude. Can you please move your fucking arm." I say. He shakes his head. "Dude, move your fucking arm or I will punch you in the face again." I warn. He still doesn't move it. "You called it." I said as I pull my hand back. Just as it's about to punch him, Jason grabs my arm.
"Dude, she said move your arm. Is it that hard?" Adam says. Mitch nods.
"I'll take care of this." Jason whispers then kisses my cheek. I had a look of confusion and shock on my face. Why the fuck is this happening? Why couldn't they have been this nice in the first day of Senior year when I first met them (I changed it to Senior year because it works better in the plot)?
All of a sudden, Jason punches Mitch in the face. "Ooo." I say as it looks like it hurt. Then Ty goes to punch Mitch, but I get in front of Mitch and end up taking the punch. "Calm down. It's not the end of the world. He was just being attracted to my sexiness and didn't want to let go." I smirk.
The boys look at me with awe. "Why you look like that?" I ask.
"Because Ty just punched you in the face, hard, and you didn't react to it." Ryan says.
"And?" I ask.
"How?" Ian asks.
"I've been hurt worse." I sat eyeing Adam. "Plus it wasn't that bad. I'm fine now apologize to Mitch." I say.
"Sorry." They all say quietly.
"Good, now help him up and get him some ice. I will be going home if you don't mind. See you at school." I say as I get up. I quickly run out of their house as I try to avoid people. I run in my house and lock the door.
What the fuck just happened?!
