-What with all these voices.
•••• •••• ••••

Meghan brought the slowly burning stick to her mouth, and took a long drag of her cigarette, before blowing the smoke out the window. Sully tried not to smile at the action. Earlier, the raven-haired beauty informed her on how her parents complained about the car smelling like cigarettes, and how Meghan lied to them, saying that her boyfriend Patrick tends to smoke in the Jeep, instead of herself.

"I swear to god, keep smiling and I will rub your sexy time with Billy in your face." Meghan smiled. This made Sully sink in her seat, and grumble out incoherent words.

"Just like you did now?" Sully mumbled. "Well, if you do that, I'll tell your parents that you smoke almost a pack a day." She countered back, making Meghan turn her face towards her.

The two friends stared at one another for awhile, before breaking out into giggles.

"We both know we won't do any of that." Sully sighed, snuggling into the seat of the Jeep, and glancing out the window. "I still can't believe I got kicked out my own house."

This caused the Sinclair girl to snort at her friend's comment, before shaking her head. "You weren't kicked out. Laurell asked me to take you out, and cool you down." Megan hummed out, before pulling into Pinky's parking lot.

"Are you seriously taking us to a pizza place when we already have boxes of pizza back at the house?" Sully drawled out as Meghan shut off the engine. She, then, watched her beautiful friend flick the cigarette bud out her window before rolling them up. "Meg?"

"We don't have to eat the pizza. It's just, if we're gonna be out of the house, we might as well be here." She shrugged, making one of Sully's eyebrow arch.

"Well, why here?"

"Because Patrick's here. Duh." Meghan said, before making her way out the car. Sully couldn't help but roll her eyes at the name, but nonetheless, exited the car.

"And?" Sully replied, lightly jogging to keep up.

"And, he invited me to hang with him, but I said no. I wanted to hang with my bestie that I haven't seen all week, and you did disappear on me last weekend." Megan explained, pushing open the parlors door.

The spastic teen withhold herself from rolling her eyes, and entered the busy restaurant. She scanned the families that ate out in the open area, feasting on the best pizza Hawkins have to offer, and as the lighting became more dime, the more younger and rowdier the tables' occupants were.

"There he is." Meghan giggled, before grasping onto Sully's wrist, dragging her friend behind her.

Sully peaked over Meghan's shoulder, and put her weight on her heels when she caught glimpse of the familiar face. This action caused Meghan to lurch back. The popular teen almost smacked into some underclassman, who opened her mouth to say something, but stopped herself when seeing the Sinclair girl.

"Sully? What the fuck?" Meghan gasped, turning to stare at the short blonde, who had various expressions on her face.

"Billy's here." She whispered, her brown eyes practically popping out of its socket.

"Where?" Meghan breathed out, her eyes wide as well, but her lips were fighting a smile.

This made Sully scowl at her friends enjoyment of the situation she placed upon herself, before shaking her head in anger.

"With Patrick. Since when were they friends?"

The dark-haired teen looked over her shoulder, and shrugged. "I have no idea." Meghan began to move again, and Sully let her this time.

As they got closer to the rowdy table, Sully's twitchy attitude calmed. As she saw more people, she thought to herself that Billy wouldn't do anything with all these eyes. However, just as she was starting to feel this way, Billy's eyes fell onto her.

"Babe!" Patrick's voice erupted over the lively chatter, "And Sully!"

Meghan smiled and gave her boyfriend a quick peck, before settling in the seat next to him. Sully rolled her eyes at the action, before placing herself on the edge of the large circular booth.

"Hey, Patrick." Sully smiled at her friend's boyfriend. There were times where she hated the guy, then there was times when she liked him. Right now, she wasn't feeling to hot about the redhead.

"I thought you two were having a girls night in?" Patrick asked the two girls, reaching over to get another slice of pizza.

"We were. Until Sully's aunt's ex came to the house, making her go crazy, and us being kicked out." Meghan hummed as she plucked a pepperoni from the slice he held. "Which was reasonable with the way you were acting, Sul."

"I wasn't acting any type of way." Sully tried to defend her actions.

"You got kicked out your own house?" Tina asked, and even though she was holding in a laugh, she was genuinely curious as to how that happened.

When Sully didn't answer, Vicki broke into a shrill of laughter from her spot next to Billy, along with Carol and Tommy. It was in that moment, she perked in her seat and looked the three in the eyes. There was no way in hell she was going to give them the satisfaction.

"Yes. Yes, I did." She replied. Sully sent the group a smile before raising her hand to get a servers attention.

A boy, a few years older than them, came up to the group. His brushed his blonde bangs out the way, and smiled at the faces staring at him. "I see we have some new faces. What can I get you guys?"

"I'll take an orange pop." Meghan drawled out, as she leaned her head on Patrick's shoulder.

"A glass of fruit punch, please." Sully turned to look at the waiter with a sweet smile on her face. "Also, can I get the cheesy breadsticks."

"Sure thing." The waiter winked, before making his way towards the kitchen.

"Cheesy breadsticks?" Patrick hummed, "You do know that those are pretty expensive?"

"No, they're not." Sully raised an eyebrow at the comment.

"Of course, they're not." Carol snorted, "You obviously wouldn't know what's expensive, and what isn't."

"And what's that suppose to mean?" Sully narrowed her eyes at the redhead, but it was pretty clear what Carol was trying to say.

"It's just that you're rich." Tommy snickered, bringing his drink to his lips. "You and Harrington sometimes forget that us common folk can't spend all of our parents money on cheesy breadsticks."

"That's ridiculous." Sully snapped. She, then, secretly took a deep breath and clam herself. "I didn't meant to snap. I'm just saying, these breadsticks are like five dollars. I'm not wasting my parents money. I'm not going to order pizza. So, before you try to make me out as a spoilt brat, you might want to get your facts straight." Sully fell further back in her seat. Letting the cold surface of the booth, touch her back.

Sully closed her eyes, and listen to the different conversations going on around her. She wanted nothing more than to leave, but Meghan was her ride and it looked like she isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Just as she was starting to accept the fact that she was stuck eating with the most horrible kids to ever walk the halls of Hawkins High, a deep voice rang over all the small conversations Sully was hearing.

"You know I'm curious, bumblebee..."

Upon hearing Billy's voice, Sully tensed in her seat before relaxing. While she hoped no one noticed her quick spasm, she tighten her arms that were wrapped around herself.

"If you asked, would your parents get you a pony?" He snorted, reaching over to take a piece of her breadstick.

"She actually has a prized race horse to her name." Meghan said aloud, moving her slice of pizza closer to her mouth to take a bite from it. When seeing the look the blonde sent her way, she quickly added, "They're her grandmother's. They just went to her when she passed."

This made Tina's eyes bulge out, and even Carol froze up when hearing it.

"Just how rich are you?" Tommy H. chuckled, but everyone saw past his obnoxious giggles and was able to tell he was genuinely curious.

"She does live in Loch Nora, I mean, have you seen her house." Carol shrugged as if it Sully's family money wasn't a big deal.

"My dad's a doctor." Sully brushed off her classmates comments. That, and her grandparents had money, which went to her father and his two siblings after their passing, but she wasn't going to say that.

The whole table moved their eyes away from the blonde when seeing that she wasn't going to say anything about her family's 'wealth', which is a word she uses very loosely. It wasn't like they were stinking rich, but in a town like Hawkins, it's as good as.

Soon, everyone around her started to engage in a conversation. One that she did not want to be apart of, so, she picked at her appetizer and waited until Meghan decided it was time for them to leave. She began to lose track of time as she stared into her cup, and watch as the ice melted into her drink, watering down the fruity flavor. Just as she was about to take a sip, her eyes caught Billy's void gaze. His piercing blue eyes shattering the barrier she was working so hard on maintaining.

Sully didn't know what to do. Billy continued to stare her down, and the spastic blonde couldn't help but feel sick to her stomach at the sexual feeling coursing through her body. It was like a hot flash. Her body tingling as a result. She tried to break away from his stare, but like an addict hooked on dope, she couldn't find the strength to look away.

But she had too. Billy Hargrove was not a good guy.

"Well." The person that's been clogging her mind, sent a devilish grinned towards the group, "I need a smoke. Be back in a bit."

Billy smoothly removed himself from Vicki's grip, and sauntered towards the front of the parlor, but not before sending Sully a wicked smirk.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sully watched Billy's back retreat from their table and released a breath she had been holding.

She, then, let out a defeated sigh and sunk lower in her seat as her classmates erupted into a set of laughter due to some joke Tina told them.

The blonde rolled her eyes, as she wanted to laugh with them, but she couldn't find herself to pay them any attention as her head were plagued of thoughts of Billy. The way his large hands squeezed and grip every inch of her body, while he grounded his hips onto her. She shook her head at the dirty images of her past encounters with Billy, with a sense of disappointment looming over her head.

She is beginning to think like a sleaze. And it was all Billy Hargrove's fault.

Sully quickly took a sip of her drink, before coughing at the watered down taste of her fruit punch. "God. That's gross." She groaned out, before straightening her posture so she can hear the joke Patrick was giving.

Just as he was hitting the reveal of the joke, Sully's ear picked up an odd ringing noise. She turned to look at the television set that was mounted onto the wall a few feet away, thinking that the set's volume was broken. She turned to the nearest person with her eyebrows furrowed together.

"Does the tv sound a little pitchy to you?" Sully asked Meghan, who sent her friend a raised eyebrow. The raven-haired beauty then waved her off, before turning her attention back onto whatever Patrick was saying.

Sully did a quick glance of the pizza parlor, which seemed to have gotten even more crowded since she got her, and saw how no one seemed to be effected by the high pitch. The blonde didn't understand why her ears were the only ones picking up the sound, but she knew that it wasn't because she has phenomenal hearing.

Sully harshly breathed through her nose as the pitch got louder, this time, a painful ache in her temple followed after.

Vicki was the first to notice the blonde's demeanor, and shot her a concern look, "You okay, Sully?" The teen pried her eyes open, and could tell that they were starting to water due to the pressure she was feeling in her skull.

Sending the red-head a wavering smile, her gleaming brown eyes shinned in the light as she scrambled onto her feet. "My head is just acting up. I think it's getting stuffy in here. I'm gonna take a breather." Sully's words jumbled out of her mouth. She sent Vicki one last smile, before pushing through the many seated residents that had their chairs far past the respected length from the table. It was in that moment, Sully wished she went out through the kitchen, or just stayed in the little booth.

As she tried to wiggle between two chairs, she awkwardly brushed up against the young blonde about her brother's age that had been in one of the seats.

"God, this date is so boring. I should have listened to Steph."

Sully gasped at the voice's sudden intrusion, and jumped away from the girl, only to have her leg bump into the seat behind her, and her hand to lightly graze over the man's shoulder.

"I wonder if they actually used provolone cheese on this pizza like I asked? Mozzarella always makes me gassy."

She turned to look at the person, and it happened to be one of Hopper's deputies, Phil Callahan, and he looked to be on a date. The airhead deputy was smiling brightly at his date, before he took a large bite of his pizza.

"That's mozzarella all right. I wonder if I could pass gas secretly? Is that even humanly possible. To purposely make your farts silently and non-deadly?"

Sully' eyes widen as she stared at the officer. She had run-ins with the cute deputy, and harbored a major crush for him during her freshman year, so she was able to recognize his voice from a mile way. She knew she heard him loud and clear. Sully heard him, while she had her eyes on him the entire time.

And not once did she see Callahan's mouth open.

"What's happening to me?" Sully's broken voice was barely audible to her own ears as she harshly barreled through the rest of the way.

Every contact she made, a new voice was heard. She held back the tears that threatened to spill as she saw the doors that lead to her 'freedom'.

All it took was one step onto the cool, gravely concrete, for her to be met with complete silence. Every voice, every thought, we're gone. Sully gave a choked sigh, and walked towards the parking lot. Trying to create as much distance between her, and the pizza parlor. Her hand pressed against a random streetlight, before she let her weight fall against the strong metal pole.

By now, her breathing was out of control, and Sully was having trouble calming herself.

"Bumblebee?"

Sully gave out a gasp when Billy's silk voice entered her head.

"Billy?" Sully called out, her eyes bouncing from the many cars that surrounded her.

"Does she have a third-eye, or something?"

When hearing Billy think that, the blonde couldn't help but roll her eyes, even during her mini attack, she still found time to be annoyed with everything he said, and did.

"How did you know that it was me, Bumblebee?" His voice filled the empty parking lot. Sully turned to in the direction of his voice, and caught sight of the small orange glow that came at the end of his cigarette.

"I don't have a third-eye, or something." She drew out with an uninterested tone, before mentally kicking herself for talking to Billy, and breaking her vow of silence.

The Californian teen sent her a curious look at the familiar choice of words she mumbled out, before stopping his movements. His eyes lazily ran over her disastrous appearance before he took a long drag from his cigarette.

"What's up with you? Did you take something? You're acting bat-shit crazy. More than usual." He chuckled at his last comment.

"No. I-I don't do drugs. I'm not s-so-some pathetic lo-loser." She stuttered out, which wasn't helping her case to show Billy that she was sober.

The gorgeous male, and star of her dirty thoughts, was now standing in front of her. A wild grin on his face, as his beloved cigarette was firmly held in place by his pearly white teeth. "I doubt that. Whatever you're on, it must be strong." He placed his rough fingers onto her cheek, and slowly traced over her freckles, leaving a hot trail behind.

Sully held her breath as the sick feeling cane to her stomach again. "I mean, look at that gusher." Billy darkly chuckled, before wiping her nose, causing the small teen to jump back, surprised.

Her brown hues held a look of defense, thinking that he was purposely trying to get her all hot, and bothered. Sully had enough. She was going to clear her mind, and fire out her thoughts about him, and how he made her feel sick. And scared. And uncomfortable. And hot.

"Geez, Billy! You know what? I-" She trialed off when her eyes caught sight of Billy's thick fingers. She latched onto his wrist, and brought his muscular hand to her face, using the light from the lamppost above. "Is that blood?"

She whispered in shock. As if it were diseased, she let go of the boy's hand, and brought her own fingers to her nose, only to feel something sticky smeared above her lip.

"What the hell?"

"Sully?"

The blonde looked up to see Billy standing over her, this time, his eyes were shinning with something else besides annoyance.

"What the hell is wrong with me, Billy?"
