Erica's point of view...

My father walked back into the siting room, his shoulders less stiff then the last time he went through those doors.

A moment of suspense lingered in the air as the three men stared at my father and I, waiting for the sentence that would change the lives of all of us here and many more.

"We have a wedding to plan!" My father announced happily. My gaze shifted directly to Aiden.

He was happy about wanting the companies to merge, stating it was economically beneficial, which it was. I looked through the contract last night and the advantages it would bring to all of us were incredible, yet they would cost me something that I never necessarily thought about; my right to chose a husband.

I was always busy working I never had time to even date, but I knew how these arrangements worked. My mother and father were in the same position as I am now, meaning I had a general outline of how my life from the day I say 'I do' till the day I physically cannot say anything anymore would be like.

The wife managed the household, she decorated and ordered the finest items for her home. She planned social events with her husbands partners and wives. She built bonds and formed friendships that would help her husband get partnerships easily. She took care of her husbands sexual needs, some manage to fulfill their own, others couldn't. She took care of the children when they were born, making sure they took their education seriously, were well prepared to build their own empire or take over their fathers in the future. She made sure they were proper, polite and respectful.

The husband dealt with the businesses. He arranged meetings and made sure his company was growing. He spent his mornings and nights in the office making sure him and his family could sit under a well built house, marble floors and Chandeliers filling their vision. He went on business trips for months on end with little to no contact.

It was how to was and will always be.

But I was promised a company. I was promised that if I agreed to this marriage I would be the one in charge of this institution.

My father isn't the best man, not the most honest or loyal, I know that for a fact but he is a hard worker. He might not be the fastest nor the strongest but I know that at the end of the day nothing could be more important to him then his company, not even his own children. He wanted the company to be his forever but he knew it couldn't be.

I don't believe everything my father told me in our conversation but I do believe that he wants this company to be in the McLaren name for as long as possible. I know he didn't want Aiden to take control of it, he wanted me.

There's nothing wrong with being like my mother. Well, there's nothing wrong with her way of life not necessarily her as a person; there are many things wrong with that. She and many other woman can be the typical domestic wife but I wanted this.

I wanted to lead a company, I wanted to see what I could do if I was given the change.

I swallow the lump in my throat, focusing back to Aiden.

His father and Marcus both stood up and congratulated my father. Aiden, however, took a deep breath, shutting his eyes for a brief second before opening them and smiling. His smile was flashy, perfect straight teeth on display, his eyes narrowing happily as he shook hands with my father.

If you had looked at Aiden now you would have seen a genuinely pleased man, but if you had seen his frustrated sigh only second ago you would understand that he was everything but that.

"So, first things first, we have trial week." Aiden's father says.

"What?" I ask bluntly. Aiden's father looks taken aback at my sudden tone. I hold back an eye roll.

We were gonna be family, he had to get used to this or else he's in for a very big surprise.

"Trial week is something we put in the contract, it states that you have a week before the wedding to test out the conditions in the contract and then through out it negotiate them accordingly, if both of you and we agree." My father steps in and explains as Aiden's father hesitates slightly in confusion.

"When does that start?" I ask.

"Well the details of the wedding are already made. The venue is available and your mothers took care of all the details. We don't want to delay the process so I see no reason then to make the wedding in a week," Aiden's father says, looking at my father to agree.

My eyebrows furrowed at Aiden's father. If you're looking at confirmation from anyone it should be the bride and groom.

"Actually, no." I step in. I wasn't going to let my 'father-in-law' think that he had control over my life.

If I was stuck in this family forever, I might as well have control of my own life.

"Excuse me?" Aiden's father as all four heads snap in my direction. I saw Aiden's lips curl up into a smirk as he knows what's about to come.

"You have any inquires about the wedding you ask Aiden and I, since according to my knowledge we are the ones actually getting married not you and my father." I state, crossing my hands across my chest.

"Excuse me?!" Aiden's father snaps at my attitude, clearly not used to someone taking back.

"I also want all the wedding details to be seen by me first. Once again, it's our wedding so naturally I wouldn't want to be surprised by how it looks when I actually arrive." I continue.

"Listen here, young lady. You didn't even know this wedding was going to happen a week ago!" He snaps back.

"Yes, yet you did and we still haven't gotten our engagement present." I say as I lean into Aiden's chest and giving his father a wide and fake smile.

His father was literally speechless, stuttering slightly before he yells, "Aiden! Control your wife! This attitude will not be tolerated!"

My blood boiled at his statement, this was a perfect example of everything wrong in the world.

"Actually, I think she's handling the situation very well." Aiden says back as he wraps an arm around me.

"You never change! You always go against me!" Aiden's father yells at him, before pointing at me,"And you! You think you can handle this world?! I was trying to make the transition from homeless whore to the wife of a millionaire easier!"

"Homeless whore is much better then arrogant cheat, which is exactly what you are," I start, unhooking myself from Aiden's arms and walking towards his father, "And don't think I'll be flattered if you call me the wife of a millionaire because I don't know if you have noticed but my father is giving me his company, that means I would have the chance to make money myself, understood? I don't need some asshole's validation on my previous lifestyle neither do I need your help adjusting to a different one. I will deal with our mothers and wedding details, your only concern should be attending the wedding. Now please, leave me and my husband to be alone we have a lot of things to discuss." I finish calmly.

Again, his father stood speechless.

I cross my arms and wait for him to leave but he doesn't.

"You can go now, leave us to have a little 'trial' of our honeymoon." I say, walking back to Aiden and placing my hand on his chest.

We weren't really going to do anything, but this asshole was pissing me off and from his angry expression I can tell that I had gotten my revenge.

"You can't handle this, you may be able to handle a business but you will not be able to handle the life of a business man's wife! There are standards, there are rules and from the last ten minutes I know that you were not made for this life. You can't handle being his wife for a week!" He yells.

"Well we can tell you all about our lifestyle as husband and wife on our one month anniversary, until then you are welcome to not contact us, unless it's because you're registering for a gift." I state.

He goes to reply before Aiden cuts him off, "It's her house too, if she wants you out of it then you will take your things and leave. Thank you for the wonderful conversation and of course your best wishes but my wife to be and I have business to attend so please show yourself out." Aiden says before taking my hand and leading me out of the living room and into the kitchen.

I finally let out a laugh at Aiden's father's reaction and sit up on the counter.

"That was the best thing I've seen my whole life!" I say as I continue to laugh, Aiden cracking a smile as he stand between my legs.

"I'm surprise you even didn't stop me." I tell him, "You always get pissed when my 'attitude' shows."

"With my father, you can threaten him with a knife and I'd sit back and chuckle." He replied making me laugh.

"That's one thing we have in common, we both hate our families." I chuckle.

"That's already more then our parents have in common, maybe this marriage won't be a total disaster." He continues.

"You just jinxed it." I say, shaking my head as if disappointed.

He lets out a laugh before saying, "Seriously, when is the wedding going to be?"

"I want it to be as soon as possible, but that's what your father wants too which makes me want to postpone it as much as possible." I say.

"Don't let my father get to you." Aiden says.

"Fine then, next week. I want to get all of this wedding drama over with and just start working." I reply.

"Great, but the contract does say we have to have a trial week." Aiden explains as he grabs my bag that I was planning to take when I run away and opening it, taking out the contract.

"Trial week is dumb." I reply.

"True, but if we are going to change the conditions of this contract we have test the original rules." He says as he flips through the pages.

"I'll call the lawyer and tell him Trial week starts today. Read through the conditions but I have to go to work." He says as he hands it to me.

"When are we negotiating them?" I ask as I start at the list of tasks I can and cannot do.

"We have to live the current conditions for at least 24 hours, then we can call our parents and change what we can." He says.

"Great, I'm gonna have to be in the same room as both my mom and your dad, my life just keeps getting better." I say sarcastically as I skim through the endless pages.

"Don't forget, when you see my dad that's when your attitude should surface." He says making me laugh. He clearly disliked his father, but he still spoke jokingly he never intentionally wanted to harm his family, and honestly I didn't want to either but we both turned out differently.

"Oh, so you're encouraging my 'stubbornness' now." I tease him.

"Oh no, you talk to me the way you talk to my dad I would never hesitate to fight back. You need to be tamed." He says.

"I need the keys to my new office not a spanking from my husband. Remember, we aren't in the fifties anymore, darling." I say back, leaning back on my arms on the counter as Aiden stood between my legs

"Doesn't matter," He says as he lowers himself slowly, causing his face to be only inches away from mine, "You defy me and I will do everything I can to make sure you learn your lesson."

I chuckle slightly suddenly finding myself at a loss of words as I noticed how close we were. His arms touching mine, his torso between my legs, his face so close yet not close enough to mine.

He towered over me, lookin at me like a prey for him to hunt and tame.

My breath hitched as he licked his lips slightly before coming closer, placing his mouth right near my ear before his deep voice spoke, "You defy me and you won't be able to sit down for weeks, understood?"

"So, What? You're Christian Grey now?" I remark, trying to sound confident but my voice came out as a whisper, why did this make me so nervous.

"Christian Grey will seem like a walk in the park if you disobey me." He says.

Every threat he made should have made me angry, but it just made me want to defy him more. I wanted to know what he would really do.

It was in that second that my mind completely rewired to a new mindset. Everything Aiden asked of me, every order he demand or every request he made I would do the exact opposite. Let's see if his threats were really as intense as he made them seem.

OKAY HONEYYYYYYYYY

I KNOW THIS BOOK TOOK A HUGE SPIN WITH THE WHOLE SEX BDSM THING BUT LIKE FIUDHGJSNDHFJW

This book originally was supposed to be a sexually book completely but then I kind of introduced a story line too.

Should I continue with this kind of sexual dominant submissive stuff? It isn't going to be a focus point but one day Erica is gonna make him snap and he may bend her over a counter and slap her ass so don't be surprised.

HONEST THOUGHTS PLEASE THANKS.
