Hey :D Sorry this update took so long, but because I wanted this chapter to be as realistic as possible, I had to do a bit of research. Enjoy!

~*Niall's POV*~

I woke up to the smell of bacon frying and sprung up. What happened last night? I can't remember a thing! I hopped out of bed and let out a long yawn. Through the corner of my eye I saw Abby's dress from last night, she must have slept in here. I threw a random shirt on and crept out of the room, it was pretty early, so I had to keep quiet. I followed the sound of popping bacon and the subtle sound of female voices into the living room.

"So he knows?" one of them, which from the slight Columbian accent sounded like Azaria, whispered. I crept back behind the wall so neither of them would notice me, I know it's wrong to spy, but I was curious. There was a long silence and then a sigh. "Yeah. Well, I told him, but I think he was too drunk to remember." Abby said softly. Remember what? I knew she was talking about me, because Zayn and I were usually the only ones who got drunk, and she couldn't be talking about Zayn.

I tried to recall everything, heck anything, that happened after the dinner, but I just couldn't! "Well, do you want him to know?" Azaria asked plainly. Know what?!? I turned the corner and fake yawned, trying to act as if I'd just woken up. "Goodmorning, girls!" I said and smiled. I tried to read Abby's face, but she wouldn't look me straight in the eyes. "Morning." She mumbled.     What is she keeping from me? "I'm making bacon." she said softly, pointing at the bacon and still avoiding eye contact.

Azaria coughed and broke the two-second silence that was making me anxious. "I'm gonna go... get dressed." she said and patted Abby lightly on the shoulder, leaving us all alone. As soon as I knew Azaria was gone I got closer to Abby, she froze for a moment then went back to frying the bacon.  "Are you okay?" I asked softly, resting my hand on her shoulder lightly. I could feel goosebumps begin to appear on her skin, and smiled to myself.

I could get her to spill anything like this, and I was prepared to take advantage of it. "Yes." she stated plainly and flipped the bacon. I was going to squeeze something out of her, and I wasn't leaving until I found out what was going on.     I moved my hand from her shoulder and hugged her from behind. I didn't mind hugging her like this, it's what I really wanted, but I tried my best not to get too overwhelmed.

She looked up at me and I could see the frustration and confusion that filled her eyes. It seemed like she was staring right through me, like I was just a clear window. But for me the window was foggy, at times it felt like Abby may be feeling for me what I was feeling for her, but other times it felt like she had no feelings for me at all.     We were extremely close and my chest was pressed flat against her back, her hair smelled so nice and I couldn't help but nuzzle my face into her neck.

I could tell that I was getting a bit carried away, but I really didn't care. "Niall, there's nothing you need to know that I haven't already told you." she whispered into my ear. My heart thumped in my chest almost to the point where it hurt. That doesn't make sense, I had no clue what she was talking about!  "Abby, you know I was drunk last night!" I said, not realizing at the moment how immature I actually sounded.

Abby sighed and pulled away from my grasp, turning around to face me. "Yes." she said casually. Yes? Yes what? "What?" I asked. "You asked me a question. The answer was 'yes'." she said and turned back to the bacon, slapping it on a plate and grabbing a few pieces for herself.    Abby walked out of the kitchen, brushing past Azaria in the process. Azaria, who hadn't gotten dressed, snagged about five pieces of bacon and pulled me to the table where we sat down.

"Did you learn what you were creeping for?" she asked knowingly. Oh my gosh, she couldn't have seen me! She started laughing at me and I didn't even have to guess if I was blushing, I knew I was. "Uhh... Not exactly, no." I mumbled and took a bite of my bacon.     Azaria smirked at me and pinched my cheeks. "You're so oblivious, Niall!" she giggled. I was starting to become offended, what the hell is she talking about?! "Oblivious to what?" I grumbled angrily.

She laughed again, which really ticked me off, and bit her bacon. "Oblivious to Abby, but I really shouldn't say much more..." she said, purposely avoiding eye contact just to bother me. I knew I was giving her what she wanted by getting angry, but I couldn't help it!     She knew I had feelings for Abby, and she decided to play with my emotions. I let out a frustrated sigh and looked her in the eyes. If I had to beg, I'd beg, I just wanted to know what was on Abby's mind.

"Azaria, please. Just tell me what Abby said!" I said desperately. Her grin grew wider and she started drawing circles into the table. "I would really love to tell you Nialler, but it's not my place, nor is it my business!" she said and shrugged.     I was fuming! Why wouldn't she just tell me?!? I sighed and rubbed my face angrily. "Azaria! Just tell me!" I whisper-yelled. Her face shot up from the table and her fingers stopped. "Fine." she snapped.

"But if Abby asks who told you, you'd better keep your lips zipped!" I nodded my head frantically and was concentrated fully on Azaria, I was ready to know what exactly it was that they were keeping from me. "Last night, you basically asked her if she loved you, and-"    My heart did ten backflips, YES! ABBY SAID THE ANSWER IS YES! "And she told me yes!" I grinned and looked Azaria in the eyes searching for a confirmation.

She nodded her head once, and before she could nod again I was already halfway to Abby's room, I stopped at her door and knocked on it nervously. My mind was blown up with thoughts of what the future held for Abby and I. Would it last? I mean, we can't just run away together... could we? And the tour ends soon, what happens then? Suddenly Abby's door swung open and she was looking straight up at me. I had no idea what to do, I couldn't even process my thoughts at the moment, let alone make a decision so huge.

"Yes?" she said and walked into her room, allowing me to see the words on her shorts. 'Cutie.'     That allowed me a bit of laughter during a depressingly confusing state. I followed her into the room and closed the door. "I just came to tell you that..." I paused. I couldn't do it, I couldn't tell her how I felt. What if Azaria was just messing around? And even if she wasn't, Abby would have to go soon! "That um, I couldn't really figure out what you two were talking about... Um, thanks for the bacon." I said softly and left without looking back.

I needed time to think, I couldn't just tell a girl I love her, only to leave to a whole different country just weeks later. I sat in my bedroom alone thinking for what seemed like five minutes, but when I looked at my clock, I realized that hours had flown by. It was dark and everyone was asleep, so my thoughts became amplified by about a million.    I just have to get this weight off my chest, I need anything to take it away.

I crept out of my room and snuck into the pantry, my eyes instantly searched for anything that would get me drunk quickly. I took out the heaviest alcohol we had and began to drink it straight from the bottle, and it wasn't long before I was drunk. I could barely stand and it was becoming hard to breathe, and before I knew it I was out cold.

~*Abby's POV*~

Niall closed the door behind him, and through my door I heard his close as well. So that's it? He didn't even try? I buried my face in my pillow and sighed out heavily. I heard my door creak and instantly shot up from my pillow. "Ni- oh... Hey Azaria." I turned my head and buried my face back into my pillow. Azaria sat on the bed next to me and rubbed my back just how my mom would when she was comforting me.

I missed my mom, I missed her food, her advice, her love, her everything. "So what was all that?" she asked excitedly. I knew she was expecting Niall and I to be holding hands and cuddling or something, and I'd hoped for that too, but we weren't. "Nothing... Niall just told me he didn't know what we were talking about. It seemed like he didn't even try to figure out." I looked back up at Azaria for advice and she bit her lip.

"Abby... I told Niall exactly what we were talking about." she said. What? That means he knows, so why did he say he didn't? Does this mean he really doesn't like me? But I overheard him and Liam talking, he has to have feelings for me! I sighed out and felt tears start to build up in my eyes. "Then why did he say he didn't?" I said, almost letting a tear escape."I don't know, maybe he just needs some spa-" Space? He needed space?

"HOW MUCH SPACE COULD HE NEED?" I yelled and I could taste tears spilling into my mouth. "This is the first time I've actually loved someone, and it's nothing like how they show it in the movies!" I cried, now letting my tears fall onto Azaria's jeans. She sighed and stood up. "Just give it some time." she said and went back into the living room. Maybe she was right, maybe he just needed to think.

-----------------

I woke up to the sound of glass breaking and jumped out of bed. Since there was a chance that I could be attacked by some dumbass trying to break in, I unplugged the lamp from the wall and picked it up. I slowly opened the door, lamp in hand, and walked down the dark, empty hallway. The noises stopped, but I decided to investigate anyway, and when I finally turned the corner I could see the dim light of the pantry and a thin body on the floor in front of it.

I dropped the lamp. "Niall? What are you doing?!" I yelled, not caring who I woke up. I ran to Niall, who was laying in a ball on the floor, and started shaking him. "Niall!" I yelled and shook him more in an attempt to get him to respond. I looked all around, trying to figure out what to do, and saw a bottle in his hand. 'Everclear: 190 Proof' I didn't know much about alcohol, but I knew that Everclear was deadly.

It was almost as bad as drinking rubbing alcohol, and the bottle was half empty. I shouted for the boys to come and continued to shake Niall, he opened his eyes for a moment and slurred something that I couldn't understand. "What? Niall, I'm gonna help you, okay?" I said shakily and kissed his forehead. I called for the boys again and dug through my pocket for my phone, as soon as I got it out I dialed 9-1-1.

"Niall, I'm not gonna leave you, okay? It's gonna be okay I'm gonna get you help." I brushed my fingers through his hair and waited for the ambulance. The seconds on the clock seemed to go by painfully slowly, and I could feel tears start to burn in my eyes. I held them back desperately and continued to cradle Niall, there was no way I was going to cry, he needed me. I didn't notice when it happened, but the lights were on and everyone was crowded around Niall and I in the kitchen.

"What happened here?" Liam shouted and started pacing around the kitchen. "Liam, I don't know, okay?!" I yelled hysterically and felt hot tears run down my face like Niagara falls. "Someone go outside and wait for the ambulance to show up!" I yelled and pointed toward the door. Within about a minute there were paramedics in the house putting Niall on a stretcher. "I'm not leaving him!" I said as they carried him away.

They looked back at me sympathetically. "I'm afraid we can't let you on, there's not enough space." one said, looking extremely apologetic. "BULLSHIT! I'm not letting you guys take him away without me!" I screamed and began to cry harder. He sighed and climbed into the back of the truck. "Get in." he said. I didn't hesitate, I jumped into the back of the truck and sat next to where Niall was on the stretcher.

I watched as they hooked him up to multiple machines and took his hand. My heart would break every time they added a new machine or medicine, and I couldn't stop the tears that were streaming down my face. We quickly arrived at the hospital and I was told that I had to wait in the waiting room until they were finished checking him out. I sat anxiously and covered my face, I didn't need everyone in the waiting room to see me like this.

God, I don't know what he was doing, but I hope he's okay. I just want him to be okay, I want to hug him and kiss him, and now I'm missing the times I slept in his bed and we spooned. I missed his arms around me, I missed him joking with me, I missed him talking to me. And the worst part is that he's only been away from me for a few minutes, so I can't imagine being without him for any longer than this.

Suddenly, a girl sat down next to me and I could recognize the sweet smell of cucumber melon. "Are you okay, Abby? I'm sure he'll be okay." Azaria said softly. I forced my face up and sniffled. "How can you be so sure? And no, to be honest, I'm not okay. I'm a mess." I snapped, which I know is wrong because she was just trying to comfort me, but I just wanted the truth. "Family and friends of Mr.Horan?" a husky female voice shouted, and the boys almost ran to the nurse.

I got up slowly and my body was shaking, I was so nervous about what the nurse would tell me. She opened a door and led us down a long, gray, depressing hall and stopped at door 409. She took the clipboard from off of the door and filled out a few blank spaces. "Alright, he's awake. I don't want to scare him so I'm going to let him know all of you are here before you go in." she said plainly and opened the door.

As soon as the door creaked open I could see Niall, he was attached to an IV, but it wasn't as bad as when we were in the truck. "I just want to see Abby alone for a second." I heard him say to the nurse and she turned around and closed the door behind me. I walked over to the chair beside Niall and took his hand. "Niall, I'm so glad you're okay." I said and rested my head in his neck.     Even with the IV attached, he managed to brush his thumb against the back of my hand.

He knew I was worried, and he also knew that his warm hand in mine would calm me down. "Abby, I should've told you but I was too scared." he whispered. "So, I went into the kitchen looking to get drunk and went overboard. All because I couldn't say it." he said and a tear ran down his face.     "Say what?" I asked into his neck. Even though I knew what he was going to say, I just wanted to hear him say it. "Say that I love you, Abby. I love you so much, but I'm afraid that when I leave I'll miss you too bad."

My heart stopped and I couldn't breathe. He said it, he said what I wanted to hear and he meant it. I cuddled my face closer to him and closed my eyes, I just wanted to sit with him like this forever.     "I love you too, Niall. We'll figured something out." I replied. He lifted his head, causing mine to lift as well and smiled at me. Before he could say a thing, I kissed him very gently.

I could taste the alcohol on his lips, but I didn't care, that was the moment that Niall and I had together. That was the moment that made our relationship special, it made it a real relationship, not just a game. I pulled my face away and snuggled into his chest, but I couldn't help but worry. What will happen when we leave the hospital?
