Julie's pov:
"Ewww you guys are so gross." Luke whines looking at me and Ashton on the couch.
The boys and I were all seated in Ashton's living room to hangout.
It's been a little over a month since Ashton asked me to be his girlfriend, and he's been an amazing boyfriend ever since.
He is a little protective and clingy over time, but that's what I love about him.
Yes, love.
I was afraid to admit that I loved him early on.
I was scared for no apparent reason.
On our first date, we went out to eat and then to the movies.
Then after, he took me on a walk where he said he loved me.
It didn't take the boys long enough to know we were dating, and...
I think... Zander is shipping us.
And I'm afraid.
Very afraid.
Luke gets slapped across the back of his head by Zander. "Shhh they are having their moment!! Shut up!!"
I blush as Ashton rolls his eyes from beside me on the couch.
It's just been bliss.
Total bliss.
"Don't worry Luke, you'll get there some day." Damien says sitting across the living room.
"If that will ever happen." Jake smirks.
Luke goes to tackle Jake and they start to wrestle in the middle of the living room.
"Take that back!!" Luke says trying to put Jake in a headlock.
But Jake only pushes back, "Over my dead body!"
I laugh as they go back and forth throwing insults at one another.
Meanwhile, I feel Ashton throw an arm over my shoulders.
"Hmm?" I question but he only smiles at me.
"I love you." He says out of nowhere. He kisses my nose while I scrunch my face.
"Okay weirdo." I laugh as he squints his eyes at me.
"Say it backkkk." He whines. His blue eyes held happiness, which made my stomach fill up with butterflies.
"Say what back?" I question playing dumb.
He only squints his eyes at me even more. "Say it or I will eat all of the skittles at your house."
At this, it was my turn to squint my eyes at him. "You wouldn't dare."
"Matter of fact, I will eat them right in front of your pretty little face." He says leaning closer on the couch.
"Then I will..."
"You will what?" He smirks, his lips only an inch away from mine.
"Mhhm.. not kiss you." I say pulling back away from his face.
This causes Ashton to pout. I giggle as I look back at the boys to see Jake pinned to the ground.
"Haha!" Luke smirks as Jake pushes him off of him.
"I'm still not taking it back." He says brushing his shoulders off.
"You're just moody because your girlfriend isn't here." Zander mocks Jake.
Oh yeah!! I almost forgot!
After many, many attempts, I finally got Jake to man up and ask out Gianna!!
Definitely not because I blackmailed him or anything.
Heh..

Okay so maybe a little blackmail was involved.
Plus they are together in the end so since when does it matter how they got there in the first place.
Look I'm a good person okay.
I feel my phone ding so I look around both me and Ashton until I feel it squished between us.
While the boys were talking, I look at the text message to see it was from Samantha.
Thanks for everything!! Got here safely.
I smile at the text while Ashton looks over my shoulder and reads it.
When her parents found out she was pregnant, they weren't as.. accepting.
To the point where they kicked her out.
I told her that she should have said something to Tessa's brother but she was too afraid.
One night, I was face timing with my grandma with Ashton, much to my dismay.
Because my grandma didn't actually believe I had an actual boyfriend.
Thanks grandma for the support.
Anyways, she said that there was this new apartment complex they had built right by her house that were good prices.
I talked to Samantha about it and she agreed.
So I helped her get set up.
She was able to move in and find a good job to get ready to support the baby which would be coming in six months.
Which, by the way, guess who is godmother of the baby!!!
Aha!!! This girl!!
Ashton is still a little hesitant about me talking to her.
But I understand because he is just worried that I will get hurt.
On the other hand, I think the boys still don't like her.
Especially Luke.
He doesn't like to talk about it at all.
But what makes it worse is that he got back to his old habit of dating girls one after another.
Ashton has tried to reason with him but it was no use.
And then there is Zander, the exact opposite.
We encourage him to get a girlfriend.
Not because we think he's lonely..
Maybe...
But I think he has a shipping obsession.
"So Zander, when are you ever going to get a girlfriend?" Jake smirks.
But to my dismay, Zander grins. "Please, I have enough time, plus, now that Ashton is tied down, I now have to take double of the ladies begging at my feet." Zander says cockily.
We all laugh as he kisses his muscles.
And then there is Damien.
I'm not really sure if he's looking for a girlfriend or not.
But one of my main goals is getting him to be less shy.
It's kinda hard because I think he is just naturally shy, but it's my main goal for the rest of the school year..
Which reminds me.
"Ashtonnn." I whine as I look at him.
He looks back at me. "No." He says already predicting what I'm going to say.
"We have too!"
"Julie I love you but I'm not doing it."
"Please..."
"Julie no puppy dog eyes."
"Whyyy." I groan as the boys laugh knowing what this was about.
Halloween was only three days away and I'm trying to get Ashton to dress up with me.
He, on the other hand, isn't too...fond of the idea.
"Julie, baby, can we just watch Netflix all day-.."
But I only try even more. "Please.." I say again looking into his blue eyes.
"Julie.." he whispers pleadingly moving closer.
"I love youuu" I say also moving closer.
He tries to stay strong, but then he gives up. "Fine." He mutters under his breath.
I let out a big goofy smile. I quickly stand up and run into the kitchen and grab the stack of magazines I piled, with the help of Ashton's mother, into the cabinet.
I run back into the living room with the stack and jump right back on the couch next to Ashton.
"I'll pray for you." I hear Jake whisper to Ashton.
This makes Ashton groan again. He lays his head against my shoulder and glares at the magazines in my lap.
Suddenly, I hear a loud squeak and everyone in the room flinches as Alissa walks through the door.
"You got him to agree!!" She glees.
Next thing you know, she is standing above her son, and pushes, literally pushes Ashton off the side of the couch and onto the floor.
Without a care in the world, she grins as she takes the magazines out of my hands and looks through them.
I feel another door open, and Ashton's dad walks in and shakes his head at his wife.
"Not this again." He mutters and tries to take the magazines from Alissa's hands.
After that day, Ashton's dad has been really trying to make things better.
And it's been working.
Slowly but surely.
I mean, Ashton's dad is now trying to be in Ashton's life.
For example, the first boxing match since that day, Ashton's dad showed up with the school colors on his face, and a shirt that said, 'That's My Son!' With a picture of Ashton on it.
Yes, it was very freaky, but the amount of time and effort he put in it really meant a lot to Ashton.
And I can see that his family is slowly putting the broken pieces back together.
Ashton has also gotten many scholarships for college.
That's pretty great considering the fact that...
Well...
He was in detention almost every Saturday...
BUT! From his high grades and boxing, we was able to actually receive a lot!
Which is crazy!!
But what's even crazier is it's only a half of an hour away.
He is still unsure in what he wants to major in, but I will be with him every step of the way.
The only down side about it is that now me and Ashton won't be window neighbors anymore.
"Try to grab my magazine again and I will rip you apart.. limb by limb." Alissa's seethes hugging the magazines close to her and away from her husband.
The boys all laugh as Ashton's dad gulps looking at his wife. "On second thought, Ashton, it's your problem now." He says rushing into the kitchen.
I look over the side of the couch to see Ashton still on the ground from when his mother pushed him off the couch.
"Are you okay?" I ask trying to keep a straight face, but I start to giggle as he looks up at me.
"Women are crazy." He says with a look of horror on his face.

We say goodbye to the boys as they walk out the front door.
They were able to stay for four hours before they had to go home to their parents.
I sigh as I look at Ashton who was laying on the couch half asleep.
I grab the Halloween magazine and sit right beside his head and look through it.
That was until, I feel him sit up and take the magazine out of my hands. I give him a questionable look as he looks back at me.
"I feel like we have been avoiding something." He says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"About me going to college. I don't want to have one of those long distance relationships."
At this, I shake my head at him while smiling. "Ashton, you're only going to be a half an hour away."
I laugh as he frowns, "Yeah, a half an hour!! You will be going through your senior year all alone." He says throwing his hands up in the air.
"Ashton, I won't be alone, Luke, Gianna, and Damien will be there." I say, but this makes him sigh and lay his head down on my lap.
"I know." He mutters. I start to run my fingers through his hair as we think in silence.
"Ashton, you know you can visit me whenever you want." I say.
This makes him look up at me. "Even if that is everyday?" He asks, lightly smiling.
"Only on one condition." I say. His eyes go wide as I pick up the magazine and wave it infront of his face.
"What do you think about onesies?" I smirk.
"Please no." He pleads.
"You mean please yes." I say, I then push his head aside and start to run up the stairs to find Ashton's mom.
I laugh as Ashton chases after me.
"You'll going to regret this." He says grabbing my hand and swinging me around.
"Regret what?" I grin as he smirks.
"This." And with one swift motion, he takes my head in his hands and kisses me.
Like I said, bliss.
But what can I say, I fell in love with Ashton Rider.
And like he now says,
I'm His Nerd Next Door.
