Chapter Fifteen, Rallying to the King
"Ninfea!" Arwen shouted as an Orc was creeping up behind her his sword raised but she was too far away to reach her little sister in time, despite that Arwen still notched an arrow into her bow preparing to shoot the Orc but she needn't have bothered as Ninfea finished fighting the two Orcs she was fighting in time to dispatch the one creeping up on her though she did get a slice to her shoulder. Ninfea smiled at her sister briefly before she was swarmed again by a multitude of Orcs further separating her from her family. "These beggars are sure attracted to you Lassie!" Dain called coming to her aide as she was beginning to become overwhelmed by the sheer number even with her magic obliterating those that came too close, her magic using her bow and arrow and using her two swords. "Thank you Dain." Ninfea shouted over the roar of battle going on around them.
"I think I know why they're attracted to me I just hope I'm wrong." Ninfea sighed as they were yet again surrounded. "There's too many of these buggers. Where's Thorin? We need him!" Dain called out.
"No we don't. Can you hold them off for a moment?" Ninfea asked Dain and the dwarves around them.
"Aye." Dain said raising an eyebrow wondering what the young elfling who had captured the heart of his youngest cousin was planning. Without answering his unasked question Ninfea withdrew a small throwing knife and carved a rune on her hand before punching the ground with a yell as her magic burst out of her and into the ground killing all of the Orcs around them. Dain and the dwarves around her looked on in shock as she stood with a sheepish smile on her face before Dain burst out laughing. "I like you Lassie." He said with a chuckle as they were drawn back into battle.

Kili and the other dwarves watched on in horror as the Orcs seemed to swarm Ninfea separating her from her family. Though they were impressed on how she held her own against the number of Orcs she was fighting against with her two swords twirling in a deadly circle cutting down Orcs as she went that is until one Orc sneaked up behind her with his sword raised. "Ninfea!" They heard her sister shout as she notched an arrow ready to help her sister no matter the distance. Kili's eyes widened in fear but relaxed slightly as Ninfea turned in time killing the Orc though receiving a cut to the arm.
"Why are they going for her?" Bofur asked confused and worried as they could only watch helplessly as more and more Orcs swarmed on the young Elf driving her from her family. "It can't mean anything good." Balin said grimly.
"I need to get out of here. I need to help her." Kili said fearfully as they watched Ninfea slowly succumbing to the sheer number of Orcs, until Dain helped her but even then there was too many of them. "I'm with you brother." Fili said as he prepared to leave with his brother to help Ninfea and ignore his uncles wishes. "Wait." Gloin called to he two princes.
"I won't hear it Gloin." Kili snapped.
"No, look." Gloin pointed into the battle where they could see that Dain and the others and surrounded Ninfea as she drew something on her hand before punching the ground with the same hand as her magic burst forth from her into the ground and around them killing the Orcs in the nearest vicinity. "Whoa!" Dwalin said shocked and amazed at the raw power the elfling possessed and immediately felt guilty over how he'd treated her since he met her. "Kili I'm sorry for how I have treated your One. It was wrong of me to judge her so harshly." Dwalin apologised.
"Safe it Dwalin." Kili snapped but taking his eyes off of his One afraid if he did for a moment something awful would befall her. "It's not me you need to apologise to. And if anything happens to her I'll be holding you and uncle fully responsible." Dwalin nodded his head knowing he deserved that and more. "I'll go and see if I can talk some sense into Thorin." He mumbled as he stalked off only sparing a glance back to see the disappointment in his elder brothers eyes causing him to flinch slightly.

Dwalin had come back thirty minutes ago dejectedly after Thorin threatened to kill him and Kili had had enough. "I will not hide while others fight our battles for us!! I will not hide while my One is fighting for her life!" Kili roared at his uncle as he came out of the shadows. "It is not in my blood Thorin!" He said slightly more calmer as Thorin stood before him.
"No. It is not." Thorin agreed. "I do not have the right to ask this of any of you especially you Kili with how I have treated your One. But I shall ask it anyway.
Will you stand beside me and fight with me One last time?" Thorin asked his Kin only to receive a roar of agreement from them as they rushed to pick up their weapons and armour. Bombour blew on a horn on top of the ramparts temporarily halting the battle below as all looked to the mountain as a large golden bell tore through the wall they had built to keep everyone out. Bursting through the now broken wall Thorin and his Company joined the battle the Ironhill dwarves rallying behind them with Dain shouting, "To the King! To the King!"
"Gandalf!" Bilbo shouted from where he stood on a walkway in Dale. "Look! The Dwarves they're rallying!" He said pointing to where the dwarves seemed to have gained another surge of life as they tore into the Orcs with frightening ferocity. "They're rallying to their King!" Gandalf smiled.
"Mithrandier!" Elrond called as he came upon Gandalf and Bilbo. "Have you seen my daughter?" He asked worriedly looking around him frantically leaving both wizard and hobbit no doubt in which daughter he was searching for. "Lord Elrond? What is the matter?" Gandalf asked concerned.
"Legolas and Tauriel have returned from Gundabad. It is worse then we feared. Bolt will sweep in from the North destroying them all. The dwarves, men and elves before they turn and spread darkness across the land. They also want my daughter. Sauron wants her power." Elrond said tightly his eyes not focused on those before him but those around them.
"This was their plan all along. They want to cut us off!" Gandalf exclaimed silently berating himself for not figuring it out sooner and endangering the young elfling further.
"North? Where is the North?" Bilbo cried spinning in a circle worried for his friends as he'd seen Ninfea go into a vision in the middle of battle but luckily Kili was near by and took her on his goat up to Ravenhill with them.
"Ravenhill." Gandalf answered pointing in the distance to the tall tower and the frozen waterfall. "But," Bilbo started horrified his eyes locked on the mountain and waterfall. "Ninfea is up there with Kili, Fili, Thorin and Dwalin. They're all up there!"
"What?!" Solemn shouted as he came upon the three with his siblings, Legolas and Tauriel. "Ada. We need to warn them. We need to get Ninth."
"Why would she go there?" Tauriel questioned confused. Bilbo's eyes widened as he realised what the vision may have been about. "She has a vision in the middle of fighting an Orc. Kili and Fili were nearby and killed the Orc and took her with them up to Ravenhill. She must have had a vision about Bolg coming from the North." All of Ninfea's siblings groaned as they heard that. "She'll stay up there now. But there must be more to it than what we're seeing." Elladan exclaimed.
"I'll go." Bilbo said shocking everyone and stopping all arguments.
"Don't be a fool." Gandalf chastised.
"They need to be warned." Bilbo argued.
"They will be. But they will see you coming and kill you." Gandalf argued back.
"No they won't. They won't see me ." Bilbo disagreed before he slipped off and put his ring on rushing for Ravenhill with Legolas and Tauriel behind him. All hoping they would make it in time.

"We need to leave. Now!" Was the first thing Ninfea said as she came out of the vision. "What?" Fili asked confused.
"We need to leave. Bolg is bringing another army and they will attack us here. Thorin sends you and Kili in to scout the tower where you are captured by Azog and killed in front of them before he throws your body off of the tower. Kili besides himself with grief goes off to attack Azog and his killed by Bolg when he and his army attacks. Thorin is killed by Azog but he also manages to kill Azog." Ninfea tells the four silent dwarves all reeling from what they had been told.
"There's....there's more isn't there?" Kili says unsurely and hesitantly wondering what else is amazing One had seen but also feeling angry and saddened that she had seen his and his family's death and swore he'd make sure it didn't come true. "They want to capture me and likely torture me." Ninfea said softly. "They want my power. Sauron wants it for his own."
