"hmmm, just milk left." i said to myself as i pushed the grocery cart around.
Walking towards the dairy isle i noticed there was only one bag of milk left. I quickened my pace, trying to get to the milk as fast as i could. I stopped in front of the cooler rack and reached down, grabbing the milk. At the same time, someone else did the same thing. I looked over to see a man. He was attractive, to say the least. Even though he was trying to take MY milk, i didn't want to seem rude.
"oh! i'm so sorry, here you take it!" i said handing him the milk.
"oh no i can't, you can have it." he said with a smile.
"really, it's no trouble you have it." i said putting it in his basket
"ahah thanks?" he said with a nervous chuckle
After that we went our separate ways. Thinking that was the last time we'd see each other. Oh but were we wrong.
The next day i decided to take my dog, linguini, out for a walk. I decided to take him to a local park and walk around there. Upon arriving there was only a few people, due to the chillier weather. i put linguini's leash on and started to walk towards the park.
As i approached the little trail area i observed the people in the park. There was an old couple and a mom with her little girl. I also noticed another younger man, my age maybe, starting to walk the trail with his dog.
I started walking Linguini along the trail, looking at the scenery. Making sure to keep an eye on the man in front of me, as i was paranoid when people walked on the trail with me.
About 15 minutes down the trail and the man stopped, muttered something, then got down and tied his shoes. I kept walking but at a very slow pace. Eventually i ended up being right in front of him. I caught a glance of him and knew he looked familiar.
"milkbag boy?" i said turning around
"wha-oh! hi yeah it's me" he said looking up from his shoe
"is-is this your dog?" i questioned
"oh, yeah. This is Octavia"
"hello Octavia!" i said petting her
"And this is?" he said pointing to my dog
"this is Linguini"
"Linguini, huh? hey there bud" he said with a pat on his head
I smiled and checked my phone and saw how late it was getting.
"sorry to be rude, but i have to run!" i said with an awkward smile
I quickly started off the trail, headed back towards the car. He said something as i hurried away, but i couldn't hear him.

i arrived home and got linguini his dinner as well as starting mine.
i was making spaghetti, for my friend and i. They were coming over to have dinner and just hang out.

I heard the front door open just as i started to plate dinner.
"just in time!" i called out
"hey! dinner smells amazing!" they said as they walked to the dining room.
We both sad down, beginning to eat and converse.
"do you ever eat linguini noodles?" they asked
"i mean, sometimes. why?"
"wouldn't that be like cannibalism, because, you know, your dogs name is linguini?"
"shut up" i said laughing, F/N joining in.
"Hey, so did i tell you about milk boy?" i questioned
"about who now?" they asked
"Milk boy? i guess i haven't told you" i said with a brief pause "so it's this boy that i gave the last milk bag to at the store the other day, but i also saw him today when i took linguini on a walk and it was weird seeing him twice in two days"
"i'm sorry, Milk boy? is that the best you would come up with?" they said completely ignoring the story
"oh my god we're you listening at all?"
"yes, but fuckin milk boy"
"haha very funny. All im saying is it's weird, maybe it's the universe telling me i shouldn't have let him have my milk"
"God, Y/n, you definitely are something else. Now we're bringing the universe into this?"
I let out an extremely large sigh and we. it's started laughing.
"do you wanna go see Infinity War with me tomorrow?" they asked
"Uhh do you even know me!? OF COURSE I DO!!!" i shouted
"can you be any louder? what do you thing about 7 pm?"
"sounds great!"

I crawled into bed around 11, linguini hot on my trail. I felt my eyelids get heavy as i drifted off into deep sleep.

(time of the movie uwu)
I walked into the cinema and waited for F/N to arrive. They were running a bit late so we decided to take separate cars. It was 6:35 and i was standing at the movie posters, looking them over. A familiar voice sent my head shooting up. I turned around to see Milk boy walking through the doors, after paying for his ticket. He looked up at me and smiled.
"Milk boy!" i said as i walked over to him
"Girl i took the milk from!" he laughed
"well, milk boy, i have a name you know?"
"as do i milk girl"
"alright milk boy, what's your name"
"SMii7y. Milk girl, tell me your name" (in gonna type smitty from now on bc it's easier)
"Y/n"
"well Y/n, what are you here to see tonight?"
"Infinity War, and you sir?"
"Me too! 7:00 showing right!?"
"Yeah!"
"do you wanna sit together? After all we know each others names" he said sarcastically
"actually in waiting for my friend, but i'm sure they won't mind! Let me ask them when they get here, should be any minute now"
"oh, yeah okay. Sounds great"
a few moments passed before F/n arrived. When i saw then i excused myself and dashed over to start explaining what was going on.
"aright so that's milk boy over there"
"MILK BOY!" they whisper screamed
"Yes! now hus real name is smitty (it's not actually but just go with this) and he's going to see IW too, so he wants me sit with him but i told him u were coming and now i'm asking if he can sit with us" i said running out of breath
"yes"
"all you have to say is yes!?"
"mmmm mhmm"
"whatever" i mumbled and walked over to Smitty
"F/N's fine with it!" i said to smitty
"Alright!" he said they walked over
I introduced the two and we got snacks. We went to the theater room and sat down, getting adjusted in the seats. I sat in between the two.

after the movie (i havent seen IW yet so i cant say anything about the movie)
"that was great but im angry" i said
"yeah i know! Thanos is a dick!" smitty said
"ugh, right!" i replied.
F/N just stared at us before saying they had to go. We said our goodbyes and they left. It was just smitty and i standing alone in the parking lot.
"tonight was fun, we should do it again sometime" i said confidently
"yeah, defiantly" he said in reply
" well, goodnight milk boy" i said, turning around and walking towards my car
"Wait!" he said frantically walking towards me
"can.....can i get your number?" he said awkwardly laughing while rubbing his neck.
"hmmm i dont know milk boy, you did take my milk?"
He nervously laughed and i handed him my phone. he handed me his and we exchanged numbers

"and that, my sweet girl is how me and your dad started our relationship" i said while holding our four year old child.
"mommy, where is daddy?" she questioned
Just then we heard the office door open then close. My door opened next and in walked Smitty.
"how are my beautiful girls doing?" he said before flopping on the bed next to us.
